I have only given 1 star as can't give a minus ! Car booked in for service and MOT for 10 weeks - paid upfront. Arrived at the centre to be told "we don't do an MOT on a MONDAY". I could go into all the ins and outs of the conversation that followed but I wont bore you all. Suffice to say, they lied about trying to contact me, their customer complaints email seems to disappear into the great beyond and their refund policy is a very unfunny joke - took my cash 10 weeks before my appointment but apparently I have to wait a minimum of 10 days to get a refund !! CLOWNS - BUT KILLER ONES !!

Today Sunday 1st oct 2023 went to Kwik fit Lancaster, with my fiat 500 and rapidly losing air puncture, a very rude off hand staff member said they had no time to fix my puncture and check tyre, they could maybe fit me in Tuesday !! I then asked if they could blow it up, to give me a chance to get help, they again refused, which was quite shocking and not unnoticed by other customers, it would seem they were only interested in selling new tyres and were also not women friendly, a very short sighted view, they are open Sundays and should not employ staff who would obviously do not want to be at work, Kwik fit bosses need to step in.

Very unprofessional staff are illiterate unable to write even postcode unable to help with simple repair after being informed they will not be able to repair I went to small garage and had repair done in 15 minutes

They cancel Mot bookings and use the excuse the tester fell ill. In reality they are over booked and need to put work off. This has happened twice. Basic ball joint needed replacing they did not have the skillset to do this.

Kwik fit is the worst garage mechanic ever will never know until you take your vehicle to one of them , I went last week for full service cost me £277 from 10am to 15pm and they said to me I have oil leak , the 4 break to be change very soon , rear tyre to be change , I said I will bring my vehicle in deferent day , so I took it deferent garage to investigate all what's wrong they none of this things to be change except the if I want as I travel every day to work , guess what didn't even charge for the check-up except the tyre, So Honestly I'm not even sure if kiwifit did full service or not , to take £277 If anyone do go to kwik fit stay next to your vehicle just in case or there all of good garages out there, and cheaper

Quoted my wife £310 to replace two tyres.She went to a local garage who did it for£140.

took car in for a tyre puncture, cost £27.00 on inspection of said tyre, the nail i could see was in the tread , no where near the rim,, kwik fit mechanic said needs a new tyre , cost £130 took it to another tyre garage £10, fixed puncture. happy man. what is kwik fit policy don’t fix puncture when we can flog a new tyre instead

Recently took a punctured tyre into Kwikfit Deal, the repaired it and charged me £30...After a day the tyre lost pressure, i took it back to be repaired properly! It was a small nail in the tread. They rang me and said the repair had been badly done and i would need a new tyre saying they would discount it as it was their fault. offered £30 off £211 tyre..Obviously this wasn't a discount as they were only refunding the poor repair..The tyre was then 179 I checked on two local garages and the price was £164....Never again!

Went into Kwik-Fit today(Wednesday) and the earliest they could check my tyres and exhaust was the following Monday.....what amazing service....!!!!!!!! Will not go there again

Sydenham kwik-fit I had an awful experience here today, I’ll just add I am a woman! I went in and explained that I needed 2 front tires fitted to my car as that’s what my mot requirements were. I dropped the car off and explained everything to the man behind the desk! They phoned me 30 minutes after leaving my car and they insisted I needed 3 tires done! Went back to show them my mot certificate saying I need 2 tires as soon a I walked in they were very persistent and arrogant by insisting I needed 3 done! (them being men don’t bother me it’s the attitude and intimidation) 2 other men then approached me and insisted yet again I needed 3 tires and they are changing me for it! My experience was very intimating by 3 men telling me I needed 3 tires not 2! I think of your a woman avoid this place at all cost because they think we don’t know what we’re talking about! They just want the sales and the commission

I left my car (2011) to do MOT but received a call that didnt pass (usually dont pass) :) and cost of repairing will be £720 (changing all break pads and disks). I replied I do it myself. When collecting Ive asked if I only change the pads will it pass , they said no I need to change pads and disks. My mechanic charged me £180 for pads and front disks all BOSCH (back disks are in good condition) + 120 labour. I had 10 days to repair for free retest. Unfortunately I had to pay extra because of blah, blah. Cost of blah, blah is unpredictable. After all Ive saved £440 This is Bushey Kwikfit

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS *** Wembly branch Had rear brakes and discs changed , unusual noises since then while driving , went back after a week and told me the new brakes were rusty and they cleaned it ! Another week noises got louder so went back and they said it’s a 50% change they can fix that and refused to check the car again. Manager was on a holiday so couldn’t speak to anyone else. Very unprofessional team , lack basics of human communication, lack basic knowledge and common sense . They drove my car for 30 mins on the second visit without my consent and changed my car settings. I thought it’s a respectful business but it’s far from that. My advice to avoid and either go to a specialist garage or just your main dealership.

Booked for a service that is offered on website. Booked appointment, was told that they did not do this work- no attempt to check, no interest in even having a look at car. Absolute rubbish waste of time

Please do not go for repair your car here. They will take your car for some hour and make damage your tools. Or they will take your new iteam of car and old one replace. I just told them make handbreak tight. But ashford kent kwikfit took my car for one hour. And then they call me your car car cost is 750£. I said no. And then i took my car they make damage my car more.

think like engine , suspension, brake or even tyres check has been missed or done incorrectly.Your staff check tyre in incorrect very slim space where can be a lot of dirt from road .Where is correct very wide space for check he dosent used and telling me as one of my recently purchased Pirelli tyre is 4.4mm witch is joke .He telling me kind of weird explanation like he think I just wake up or something. I have suggest to any customer to make vehicle check with staff because you can notice some damages.I found tyre damage and wheel wing scratches but I can't to much proven because I wasn't make vehicle check with them. Don't use because you will be disappointed telling you

Dear All review reader’s. Regards To Folkestone Kwik Fit. I am writing this review for the benefit of all especially for an elderly woman who was most blatantly ripped off. This is also combined with complaint for the treatment that I received as an out side MoT contractor. I must stress I have no affiliation with Kiwk Fit nor do I intend to after the treatment and dishonest sales practice that I have seen not to mention the substandard workmanship. Some time ( Last month February 2023 ) ago, a lady came in with her Fiat 500 for a knocking noise from her front suspension on her car. Simple enough the Fiat 500 is a pretty standard car nothing complex here. At this time I was in-between Mot’s and after watching various ill trained staff miss diagnosing the fault. I had a quick look, i found the fault in less time it took the so called mechanic change his bum. The fault was a detached front lower control arm bush, Pretty common on the Fiat 500. Now this is where it gets worse, on Auto Data, E3 Technical as well as main dealer book time this job would come in at 1.2Hrs to remove and replace said part. Which should not have cost the customer no more than lets say £200.00 all in. Mr Ashley Laker the branch manager tripled the cost if not more, claiming that it would take at least five hours. During my conversation with him I said that this job is a one hour job maybe an hour and half maximum. With this he calls me a liar whilst he was bragging how he bumped up the price to hit target. At this point I walked away in disbelief. The point of the above statement is for the driver of the Fiat 500 to raise her concern and I am sure she will get a fair refund. Top Tip Ashley Don’t rip people off. Chapter Two. I was an MoT Contractor drafted in to carry out DVSA approved MoT’s On my first day I was approached by Mr Ashley Laker branch manager suggesting that I might do dodgy MoT’s. My stand point on that subject is NO I WILL NOT CARRY OUT BENT MOT’S. As I am the one who will suffer the wrath of DVSA so there fore I will only test to DVSA standards. So with this I thought I had made my point. Weeks go by and a friendly bond was made or so I thought. Now bear in mind I am only human and as such I fell ill one week ( I was very ill ) that week I had conducted sixty-seven in a forty-seven hour week. Now bare in mind that the average MoT takes approximately forty-five minuets to an hour to complete. I was run down and exhausted on top of this I live thirty miles away and had a difficult time driving to and from site. So now we are at a Friday morning I was busy setting up the MoT test equipment for the day and as such I was grumpy not rude just plain old grumpy due to being so ill I should have been at home recovering. And so someone kindly made a complaint with out knowing the full story. This I set aside as it was trivial if a person cant see a man who is clearly unwell what am I supposed to say or do. As time goes by there are two local garages that use Kwik fit Folkestone for trade MoT. Now DVSA have strict standards how ever these two garages don’t seem to grasp this fact. As such were persistent in bringing cars that were not fit for testing and when refused they would get verbally aggressive. As my test standards were now apparent by way of I only test to DVSA standard. This approach had eroded the rapport I had on the Kwik Fit site. Que complaint number two, now this is strange. When I have conducted an MoT and processed the VT20 or VT30 this is left with the sales department. As such I get the next car in and processed for testing. I then find that a customer if any complained that I did not explain the advisories on the test certificate. Bare in mind that time is precious, how ever that being said if I was approached I would have explained the test result when time allowed. As a general rule I do not engage with customers pre or post test I leave that to sales department unless there is a genuine concern. Now complaint number three. This one I believe to be a made up complaint between ( Branch manager ) Mr Ashley Laker and his trade garage friend. As I must have been asleep for this one. It is alleged that I called a customer a C**T. Really Ashley where did I find the time for that. I don’t speak with customers on point unless there is a genuine concern relating to the MoT. I believe that you concocted these allegations in retaliation to my refusal to carry out bent MoT’s and as such this was hurting your pocket for the extra cash you are not getting in your back pocket. As the saying goes I hear nothing but I see everything. And yes I will be posting this to your head office as well as many other review sites as I can possibly find. And inform DVSA that they take special interest.

Visited fishponds bristol centre absolutely terrible service. The management have no people skills are unbelievably unhelpful with seems like kids doing any work. Avoid
