“A good product at an affordable price. However some communication was slow on a refund after I wanted to return it. Received a full refund and did eventually get good communication. They would have had a 5 star rating if they had kept in touch.”

“I ordered a PC which was was faulty. Getting it replaced was a very easy, no quibble process. Unfortunately the replacement was also faulty - these things happen with refurbished kit - but once again the customer service was first class. I now have a third machine which was excellent value and is working perfectly. Lesson? Pay that little bit extra for a full set up.”

“4½ out of 5 stars is my rating. Foolishly I assumed this would be Wi-Fi even though it doesn't say so in the spec. I have an ethernet cable but now have a Wi-Fi dongle. Purchasing on the website was easy & I paid for next day delivery - very pleased about that. I could not work out exactly what type of USB are fitted - no sign of blue so reckoned the USBs are USB2, but there are SS type USBs which turn out to be "super speed". I found details of the spec on HP website were also a bit variable - it does say that. Anyway I extracted the USB PCI-e card from my old pc & it works great in this one. The RAM type matches my old pc so maybe one day I may remove that & install in this one. I apologise for rambling. Oh one more thing - the website says the pc comes with 1 year warranty. I have no paperwork saying that but I have taken snapshots of the web page, well just i case. That's it - summary easy to use Laptops Direct website & buy, pleased with the pc.”

“The actual on-line purchase went very smoothly and the web site was easy to understand and follow. However, delivery requested three days hence was ignored, and the monitor arrived early the following morning, when by pure chance, we were still in.”

“I purchased a refurb Dell Latitude - general condition was very good, new install of Windows 10 and SSD made it perform well. It was let down by case screws missing from the case back and the Dell serial number label had been removed completely. Without the Dell serial number identification of up to date drivers is difficult - fortunately entering F2 on boot enters the BIOS setup where this missing ID is hard burnt into it and cannot be removed. Their customer service was prompt and good - they reimbursed me a sum to self-source the screws which I was happy to do, just disappointed the action was needed at all. Overall I would buy from them again - the minor issues with this refurb PC were more than compensated by getting a very clean machine with original Dell power supply and a reasonably good battery for a 6-year old machine.”

“Questions answered promptly. Did not get hoped for answer but was told it was either the design or a fault. Part refund offered as I was happy to keep the Chromebook. Refund very quick. Communications prompt and courteous.”

“I ordered a CCTV HDD and it was faulty. Emailed customer services for a replacement nice and prompt replies. At first they said they haven’t got any of the HDD in stock and a customer service advisor will ring me which they didn’t. I went back online to their website and found the same HDD in stock so I took a screenshot of it and emailed them back (may be a genuine mistake). The next day my order was out for delivery and this time the HDD was working perfectly.”

“Website ordering was easy and straightforward with a good price. However, I paid £9.95 for a specific delivery date (Monday) and had it confirmed by Laptops Direct, but it did not arrive until Tuesday. I don't know whether this is a problem with DPD? Ordering on a Saturday showed a specific delivery date of Monday - but it didn't work.”

“They had the phone I wanted in stock and at a competitive price. Ordering on the website was quick ad easy and the phone was delivered on time. I have not any reason to contact the company so cannot comment on their customer service. I have previously bought from this company and had no problems on that occasion either.”
