“The Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 battery overheats (bottom gets very hot to the touch) and this problem gets worse over time. A repair accomplished nothing. My warranty is out and customer support is a nightmare of going in circles. Their virtual help doesn't understand the simplest of questons. This company used to be the gold star in comptuers. Never again.”
“Brand new T16 Gen4 with AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO350 freezes frequently. The Internet reports there is a CPU bug. Lenovo is selling faulty product knowingly without providing remedies. Tech support practically does not exist. I'm stocked with expensive useless computer - no repair, no exchange. My advice: stay away from new AMD super CPUs and Lenovo in general. Just keep your old, reliable, proven laptop.”
“Lenovo is VERY greedy. My laptop charger sparked (lenovo ideapad gaming 3) and had to get a new charger for it. Just for the charger to not even work because its "not the one the shipped out" and then they want me to dish out over 40 QUID for the ac adapter (NOT EVEN THE FULL CHARGER)”
“The Chromebook I received for Christmas 2025 developed cracks around the screws closest to the hinge. I contacted Lenovo and sent them photos of the cracks. I also told them that many other users had reported this issue on online forums. .Lenovo said that it was not a defect and that I could have it examined by them, but if "they" determined it was not a defect, I would have to pay a $109 diagnostic fee and then a repair fee if I wanted them to fix it. I asked if they could simply send me the part, the bottom cover of the Chromebook, so I could try to fix the problem myself, but they refused. One representative (I will not say customer service because there isn't any) told me that the replacement bottom cover was not in inventory.
After many emails back and forth with them they said, "In all cases, the device would need to be sent to our Depot Repair Center for examination and repair. Depot repairs are not performed as same‑day or while‑you‑wait services. Once the device arrives at the depot, the typical turnaround time is approximately 7–10 business days, provided that the required parts are available. If parts are not immediately in stock, this may result in additional delays before the Chromebook can be returned." As you can imagine they could/would not check to see if the part was in stock.
So now the cracks are taped and I check daily to see if more develop or if the bottom cover begins to separate from the Chromebook.
Never again Lenovo.”
“Bought a Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q for £1,230 — it arrived completely dead on arrival.
After wasting time on diagnostics, Lenovo confirmed it was faulty and agreed to send a replacement. I returned the unit as instructed… only to be told (with zero communication) that my order had been cancelled due to a “parts shortage” — despite the same PC being available online at nearly double the price (£2,126).
Customer service then twice assured me (on recorded calls) that if I reordered, they would price match my original purchase.
So I did exactly that.
Now Lenovo are refusing to honour that agreement — leaving me nearly £900 out of pocket for their faulty product.
This has been:
Poor communication
Misleading advice from multiple staff
Failure to honour agreed resolution
A clear breach of basic consumer rights expectations
I’m now paying interest on a mistake caused entirely by Lenovo.
Extremely disappointing experience — especially given this came from a company that promotes “premium support”.”
“#Lenovo #yoga #thinkpad
Do not buy Lenovo as they will not back there warranty and there support is awful and will lie to you on fixing issue
2 times I had a technician book with part only to have it cancelled immediately and not being advised
On the third occasion after speaking with the warranty manager he assured me it will not happen again and here is the but I just found out they have no parts available so HE LIED to me and so they can’t repair it.
Do not buy any #LENOVO products”
“This is the worst laptop, it actually drives me insane and bewilders me as to how technology can be this bad. It's a new laptop and every time I try to finish my assignment or important documents on word, it glitches so much. I can't highlight things and I have to constantly click on and off Word to get it to corporate per sentence. I have had a HP laptop for 6 years and it has been amazing, and worked so well for years on end, and finally it's had it's time, but I had no complaints for it even when it was so old and went through so much. However, this brand new lenovo; it can't even stand one week on my hands! THIS is the worst laptop ever, I do not reccomend. Save yourself money and buy an affordable HP instead, it will not let you down unlike this. This laptop is just so unusable that I just have to buy a new one. Even typing out this review is impossible for the laptop to do, it's laggy and its mouse pad doesn't work. I bet this Lenovo company expects me to use the tiny red dot in the middle, and even that doesn't work! It's just beserk. On my old hp it had spelling mark up installed on the laptop (not grammarly), however on the lenovo, on simple apps like google or word or anything, it pops up with the red "spelt wrong" line, and then when I click on the text it doesn't even come up with any spelling fixes. I'm absolutely shocked and horrified by this excuse of a laptop. I'm actually so upset.”
“My Legion Go arrived with some blurry pixels, a minor problem as when the gaming it was barely noticeable. However, after just four months, one of the triggers developed a failure so I decided to send the product in to take advantage of their warranty on both issues. Lenovo responded by saying that the damage was 'customer induced damage' and therefore not covered and attempted to bill me for almost £180. I will never purchase from Lenovo again if they do not rectify this decision and not should you.”
“Lenovo's Think department in connection with Stefan Stoyanov of IBM Systems, refuse to fix my PC which is still under warranty. They then returned my PC from their repair-centre in a non-working state (since being returned, it won't turn on). If you can offer some advice, please let me know how to proceed as they are acting illegally and this PC was for my business.
Also, the Thinkstation range tends to go wrong a lot - in a few years, we've had motherboard and WiFi-card and processor swap-outs and this is because their hardware often fails and which they replace with refurbished parts.”
“I’ve used Lenovo for years, but this is the final straw. My brand-new, high-end laptop started fizzling and burning within just two weeks of ownership. A literal fire hazard. I returned it immediately, and three weeks later, I am still fighting for my money. Lenovo repeatedly claims they have 'refund errors' and need to initiate 'manual refunds'—it’s clearly a stall tactic to keep your cash. I’ve had to open a PayPal claim just to get a response. Do not trust this company with your money or your safety.”
“False advertising. I ordered a laptop from Lenovo. Advertising specified thatLenovo Digital Pen was included in the description.Contacted Lenovo. They did not send me the phone andare unwilling to ackowledge the false advertising.”
“Purchased M11 tablet at Best Buy after a few months had issues with slow response and then began to freeze on the Lenovo emblem page just sent to repair they replaced the motherboard but did not return the original box I had shipped it in and now found a scratch on the screen disappointed”
“Ordered directly from Lenovo then found a better deal and immediately cancelled the order, they still shipped it more than a week after they confirmed cancellation.”
“Received a damaged product from Lenovo, the ThinkPad Aura 15". After booting up computer noticed a large distortion in the middle of the screen running all the way across horizontally, so immediately called to Lenovo to set up an exchange. Was told they would be sending me a replacement in a couple days, so that was perfect for me. Never got a replacement laptop so called Lenovo after approx 1 week after original exchange laptop phone call. Was informed my computer may not be available for 2 months bc it was sold out. Whats hilarious is went on Lenovo website and I could actually immediately purchase the same computer!! Except would have to pay $300 more (sale was over). Asked customer service why am I not being sent a replacement computer if its available to purchase and in stock. Basically was told from 4 different Indian call center....sorry bub tough cookies. So opt 1# Return the laptop and then repurchase from us The Same exact laptop but for $300 more🤣.... or hang a couple months with your lovely brand new distorted screen laptop until we say you deserve to get a replacement🤣🤣. And literally i tried to receive to obtain some sort of discount as a gesture of sorry for crummy situation from Lenovo. Nope! Three different phone operators said "Sir! we are allowing you an extended time to return your laptop to us" 🤣🤣. Thanks guys you rock🤦♂️🤦♂️ There is no way to get anywhere too!! They stonewall you even if you ask to escalate, speak to supervisor, ect ect. Got tired of the BS so I just pouted and hung up.🤣”
“I purchased a Lenovo TAB M11 not very long ago it worked good for a month or two and now it won't work. I contacted Lenovo and after being run around for 30-45 minutes and not being any help at all they hang up. I had not been rude or aggressive and they simply hung up. Well at least you can say there product goes hand in hand with the after sale service completely useless. This is the first time I've bought Lenovo and it will be the last. Save your time and stress levels and stay clear of Lenovo”
“I was impressed with my Lenovo ThinkPad issued to me at work so I got an IdeaPad 5 for myself. It's the worst laptop I've ever had and even worse, I cannot find a way to get support from Lenovo. The worst problem I have is that the trackpad is glitchy. It's frustrating as hell, but seems fixable. But I cannot get ahold of anyone to address it. I'm giving up and cleaning my hands of all Lenovo products.”
“Terrible experience.
Ordered a brand new Lenovo ideapad Pro 5 laptop from the Lenovo UK website just under 2 months ago and despite only using it for light web browsing, the laptop has constantly crashed and restarted for no apparent reason. Since using it now, it must of crashed randomly at least 20 times in total. The laptop often freezes as well even when doing basic things like switching tabs. After reaching out to customer care and technical support, they said they would not offer me a replacement laptop and kept directing me to different customer support teams. In other words, a massive waste of time dealing with their customer support. Would really advise against buying from them.”
“Lenovo and the Lenovo ThinkStation P620 has been a complete disaster for me, wasting years of my life and thousands of euros here in Ireland. From the day I bought it, this workstation has suffered from a blatant manufacturing defect in the power supply and motherboard, causing endless random reboots, SYS S202 errors, and Event 41 shutdowns that destroy my work—nine critical failures in the last two weeks alone forced me to hire electricians, buy a UPS, and replace graphics cards. Lenovo's support is pathetic, dismissing clear evidence from their own forums of widespread identical issues while pushing billable "repairs" after their 2022 PSU replacement failed utterly, all while breaching EU consumer laws by refusing a free fix.”
