“The trailer appears to be well built from afar but on closer inspection and once I got it home I realized how bad it really was. there is shark slag sticking off of the poorly welded seams everywhere. I cut myself several times on this trailer after only several uses. The paint is almost nonexistent. I say that because in some spots it literally is not there however in other spots there is a light Sheen of paint. This will almost certainly need to be completely repainted before the wet season. the upper railings are not fitted properly and are not properly aligned when they were welded. There is at least a 1/4 inch gap on the one seam which would be embarrassing to me as a Craftsman. I cannot say that I would recommend Leonard trailers to anyone in fact have been telling most everyone I talked with how poorly made they are. I am very disappointed in your product having heard just the opposite from many people over the course of several years. My suggestion is for your production team to get their act together and for those people supervising them oh, get off your ass and out of the office and pay attention to what's going on under your nose.”

“Electronics between Leer topper and 2019 Chevrolet not interfacing properly. I would suggest not buying a Leer topper until Lenard has the problem corrected.”

“My order came in two parts. I am still waiting on the second part is now 12 weeks and counting, after being told to wait 6 weeks. This first work is substandard, wires are falling out of the sticky tape under the truck (should have been loomed and zip tied) and the tool boxes were not cleaned of the metal shards from drilling them in. The LED strobe lights were not installed in the correct locations and now holes are drilled into the truck. Sales and installation people do not talk to each other.”

“I have owned this trailer for less than a month and the paint is chipping off already. It seems it is a very poor paint job and the trailer looks like it is years old already. There is rust all over the trailer. Not too happy for what I paid for the trailer.”

“The purchase and installation experience were great. Nice and efficient people. The quality of the truck cap is less than expected. Interior finish with lots of exposed fiberglass fibers that stick in my hand if I happen to touch the inside. Also, there is black streaks bleeding from the seal onto the white paint on outside.”

“The trailer was damaged upon delivery and no one has ever followed up to make it right. I called the number of times and they keep tell me they didn’t have the repair parts.”
