“I purchased an NCM Milano Plus e-bike from Leon Cycle in Laverton this week and paid an additional fee for professional assembly, as I wanted the bike to be ready and safe to ride immediately. I collected the bike 2 days ago. The following morning, on my first commute to work, I immediately noticed a significant rubbing sound from the front wheel during every rotation and couldn’t continue riding the bike. I contacted the store and was advised to remove and reinstall the front wheel and was sent a YouTube video explaining how to adjust the brake calipers. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. As agreed with the store, I then took the bike to a local bike shop for inspection (Leon Cycle is an hour drive from me). They advised that the front wheel was not properly aligned and that there was a substantial amount of air in the hydraulic braking system, significantly affecting braking performance. I was told the bike was not in a condition they would consider acceptable to sell for road use without adjustment. The necessary repairs, including a brake bleed, cost $180. Although Leon Cycle initially agreed this cost would be reimbursed, they subsequently informed me that reimbursement wouldn’t be provided, with the explanation that all their bikes require servicing within the first month. I chose to purchase from a physical retailer and pay for assembly to avoid exactly this type of situation. In reality the bike was not delivered in a ready-to-ride condition despite paying for that, and the follow-up support did not meet my expectations by far. Not something I'd expect from a professional bike shop... Definitely can NOT recommend Leon Cycle!”

“Leon Cycles have been very good to deal with. Answered all my questions re servicing / warranty etc. I had a slight issue when my bike arrived. The plastic seal around the seat mounting was broken away (happened in transit) I contacted Leon Cycle Australia and without any hesitation a new part was sent out immediately to replace it. Easy to replace as it just slots in. I was very impressed with their response and service and it has given me confidence to buy again from them when I purchase an ebike for my husband.”

“Leon Bikes always respond quickly to all my questions regarding my NCM Miami Ebike, there backup service is what you can be sure of when making purchases through them. I just ordered a hot up thumb throttle replacement that was sent to me promptly and was easy to fit.”
