Since 2018 Leon Cycle has been operating within Australia and New Zealand, providing quality and affordable e-bikes under our brands "ET Cycle" and "NCM".

We offer E-Trekking, E-MTB, E-Cruiser and E-Folding bikes and Conversion kits for everyone in Australia and New Zealand. We are quite diversified and offer both rear- and mid-motor engines, whether from our own design (Das-Kit) or from established brands such as Bafang.

I bought the Prague NCM bike for my partner for his 50th, it arrived in 2 days.!! The service at Leon cycle was excellent I had all my queries answered quick & they were so helpful. During these tough times in Vic they managed to deliver the bike to us in just 2 days. We absolutely love the Prague bike and will come back to purchase another bike soon. I want to thank Leoncycle for putting a big smile on my partners face for his 50th. Thank you so much 🙏🙏

Servlice was good, had a number of interactions with staff concerning my online order. They were prompt and helpful as it was a tricky address to have the bike delivered to. Then a minor part was damaged and they promptly sent a replacement. Though it hasn't arrived yet.

I ordered an Aspen Plus mid-Dec 2026. The link on my US-based SHOP account sends me to review NCM on their Australia/NZ page, so here it is: Attempted to reach NCM USA several times via their SHOP-provided email address and phone. No response. The customer service number on their website didn't even ring and went straight to voicemail, which was "full and not accepting new messages." It did this for more than a month, even during their stated business hours. I contacted my bank to tell them this story, and they "refunded" my money promptly. They opened an investigation, but as of mid-March, they had not heard from NCM either. Then, in mid-March, I get an email from NCM saying that my bike is on its way, and the tracking number indeed showed that it was en route. I get another email apologizing for the delay, stating that they had to relocate their warehouse. Who doesn't keep their phone line going during a big move? A terrible business operation, that's who. I called my bank to inform them that the bike was now on its way, and they noted it on my account. I also told them that I would refuse delivery, as I had already bought another bike. The freight carrier called me to make an appointment to deliver the bike. This call came within 2 hours of me getting notified that the bike was on its way! I told the freight carrier that I would not accept delivery as this order was more than 3 months late. Steer clear of NCM USA!

Highly unprofessional and dangerous: I purchased an NCM Milano Plus e-bike from Leon Cycle in Laverton 2 weeks ango and paid an additional fee for professional assembly, as I wanted the bike to be ready and safe to ride immediately. I collected the bike the next day. The following morning, on my first commute to work, I immediately noticed a significant rubbing sound from the front wheel during every rotation and couldn’t continue riding the bike. I contacted the store and was advised to remove and reinstall the front wheel and was sent a YouTube video explaining how to adjust the brake calipers. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. As agreed with the store, I then took the bike to a local bike shop for inspection (Leon Cycle is an hour drive from me). They advised that the front wheel was not properly aligned and that there was a substantial amount of air in the hydraulic braking system, significantly affecting braking performance. I was told the bike was not in a condition they would consider acceptable to sell for road use without adjustment. The necessary repairs, including a brake bleed, cost $180. Although Leon Cycle initially agreed this cost would be reimbursed, they subsequently informed me that reimbursement wouldn’t be provided, with the explanation that all their bikes require servicing within the first month. I chose to purchase from a physical retailer and pay for assembly to avoid exactly this type of situation. Based on my experience, the bike was not delivered in a ready-to-ride condition despite paying for that - in fact I was handed over a bicycle that was dangerous to use on the road, and the follow-up support did not meet my expectations by a long shot. I wouldn’t buy from Leoncycle again

Husband very happy with bike. Never having done any repairs on a bike it took a while to figure out how to put it together as manual not very clear. Recommend Leitner put a ‘how to’ video together as many people like myself prefer to see how it’s done as opposed to figuring out through manual. Good to ride though.

NCM Paris Plus. Very happy with the online purchase. Clear and concise instructions and prompt delivery. Very happy with the bike, Just bought another for the wife. Leon Cycles are very good to deal with.
