Since 2018 Leon Cycle has been operating within Australia and New Zealand, providing quality and affordable e-bikes under our brands "ET Cycle" and "NCM".

We offer E-Trekking, E-MTB, E-Cruiser and E-Folding bikes and Conversion kits for everyone in Australia and New Zealand. We are quite diversified and offer both rear- and mid-motor engines, whether from our own design (Das-Kit) or from established brands such as Bafang.

“Husband very happy with bike. Never having done any repairs on a bike it took a while to figure out how to put it together as manual not very clear. Recommend Leitner put a ‘how to’ video together as many people like myself prefer to see how it’s done as opposed to figuring out through manual. Good to ride though.”

“The bike was delivered on time in good condition.It was easy to unfold pump up the tyres and ride. Unfortunately the user manual is in German which is not helpful.”

“The delivery was a week later than the expected delivery date, but that is the delivery company's problem, so I will not review it here. This was my first electric bike, so I can't necessarily evaluate it well, but I think it's a good product. However, I wish it had a little more power, perhaps because of the current legal standards.”

“I needed a new battery for a very old e-bike and found one that I thought might be suitable on the Leon Cycle website. I contacted Leon Cycle and they were very helpful. I ordered the battery and it came reasonably quickly, delivered to my door. The rear light that was integral to the battery did not work. I contacted Leon Cycle about how to open the AA battery compartment for the rear light - they were very prompt in replying, even though it was a public holiday! The AA batteries and terminals inside were coroded. However, after I cleaned the terminals and put in new AA batteries, everything worked OK. (I figured that it wasn't worth the postage, time or fossil fuel required to send the Bike Battery back because of a bit of corrosion - but perhaps in future the staff posting out that model of battery could check the rear light AA batteries, and do any necessary repairs and replacements, before they send the unit to the buyer).”

“The rear brake kit for NCM Aspen+ had all components including left hand brake lever - except the hydraulic tube was not long enough to reach the rear hub. It was only long enough for the front brake hub. I'm waiting for a hydraulic tube of the correct length. The rear brake on gravel surfaces is more important than the front brake!”

“Overall I had a good experience, staff was friendly and efficient.The bike is comfy and solid, battery around the 100km as mentioned. But I only used my bike twice and the front brakes pads are very noisy and not smooth. I took a day off to bring it back to the shop for a check but they couldn't fix the issue as it was the same with all the bikes. Since I brought it back it is getting worst so much that I am only using the rear brakes. I will keep using it but disappointed of the quality of some parts.”
