Since 2018 Leon Cycle has been operating within Australia and New Zealand, providing quality and affordable e-bikes under our brands "ET Cycle" and "NCM".

We offer E-Trekking, E-MTB, E-Cruiser and E-Folding bikes and Conversion kits for everyone in Australia and New Zealand. We are quite diversified and offer both rear- and mid-motor engines, whether from our own design (Das-Kit) or from established brands such as Bafang.

“Recently purchased and installed a front wheel conversion kit for my wife's bike. Delivery promt, quality very good and installation straight forward. Assembly manual clear and concise, but operation manual for controller not well written and somewhat confusing. A call to the Leon team for support sorted out the issue and the bike works extremely well. Good value, good product, good support. Will recommend to my friends and would buy again from Leon. Nick (in hilly Waverley)”

“I have purchased 3 e-bikes from Leon Cycles. 2 are London Fold-ups for our forthcoming caravan trip. These are fun & easy to ride. The quality and design are great and excellent value for the money. The 3rd bike I bought is the Moscow Plus. Wow! to date I have done around 1000km on some very hilly & rough terrain. The Moscow performs great. The 6 levels of e-assistance just make the riding so enjoyable. There are a couple of general issues that Leon Cycles need to address: No one at their Laverton showroom answers the phones. This is very frustrating when you need some technical advice or wanting to buy spares. And equally is important is warranty repairs. There have been quite a few complaints on the NCM regarding broken spokes and other issues with no spares available. NCM are great value for money e-bikes, but you do need to provide much better support to your customers.”

“The NCM Milano trekking bike was up to and exceeded my expectations, a great ebike at half the price from a retailer with better specs. Love it, only issue was the late delivery, 9 days over their deadline”

“Took a while to receive goods, due to Christmas and Covid. I was expecting problems. Though the direct debit was a mistake by me always pay credit card in future. The items ordered arrived and all fitted and working fine. My mountain bike I bought from an agent, I like good quality items and this mountain Plus is excellent, thou a little more expensive, very good, love it, fun to ride.”

“Only early days with me E Cycle as I had not even ridden one before so it was leap of faith to order one online, sight unseen. So far it has been a good experience with the the bike living up to all claims made for it. Some trouble with gear shifters but this is a common issue apparently. Enjoying the peddle assist technology which is unobtrusive but extremely helpful to an ageing rider.”

“I am very happy with products supplied. My only small complaint would be the battery mount lead connectors did not match the battery connection on the controller. I had to buy one at a small cost to join it.”

“Excellent service from Shane when purchasing and during pickup. He was very responsive when messaged and the bike came up beautifully. Would have given 5 stars but for the fact that 2 days after I stumped up the 2k they emailed me with special $200 less that I paid. Couldn't help me out apparently. Shane was great though.”

“I've found Leon Cycle to be generally very helpful but responses have been patchy - most times good but occasionally long periods with no response (more recently though all good). Prices have also been pretty good.”
