Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“Compared to other brokers/insurance companies you made the process easier as we had tried at least another six companies. Bemoto we very helpful but were not specialised enough. I have hearing loss and those on the phone were understanding of that. There was some verbatim talking on the phone which is mandatory for you but needs to be clear on the phone. If all of that is available via email then that would be better for deaf people. It didn't matter how much I told a PPI company recently they would not change the way they communicated with me. The customer portal was great although it was lucky that I heard, when told, my password. If it wasn't for the Quadro4 importer, Shirely Pattison, I would not have found an insurance company that would cover all three of us because it is a waste with just myself on the insurance. It is expensive but when broken down to a monthly basis but the fact that it covers all three of us and it means that my wife especially can start to ride it. When I last spoke to a member of staff, I inquired if I could add a motorbike to the policy in the future. It wasn't declined outright but it may be worth you expanding into that part of the market. Being that it has been a difficult process finding the right insurance for the Quadro 4, it may be worth you advertising amoungst the UK dealers. However it didn't help that we didn't have NCB with motorcycle insurance. My son, now that he is 21, will be getting his full motorbike licence so I don't know if that will affect the Quadro 4 insurance.”
