Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“I was stopped nearly 2 weeks after taking out the cover. I didn't get the policy documents as they went into spam folder. The police rung Lexham and some idiot said I wasn't insured. The police wanted to give me 6 points and tow my scooter away. I got my uncle to ring and check then he was told I was insured. This really upset me.”

“Phone Lexham for a quote for a new Scooter I have bought. Phone answered quickly by a very polite and professional lady. Talked me through the whole process and once all questions answered offered me a very competitive quotation Called back quoting my reference number and this was brought up on their system within seconds Bought and paid for the insurance within a couple of minutes. Asked for the policy and associated info to be e-mailed to me. This was done within an hour All in all a very professional, friendly and accurate company to do business with Will definitely recommend to others and will use again A great and somewhat all too rare experience”

“While the price is good, the customer services and on-line quote process leave something to be desired. On-line gives you a quote, but when you try to retrieve it, the system does not recognise the password or log in, then the password re-set automated e-mails do not contain the required information. When you have a quote and speak to the company you find out, the data has not been saved.”
