Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“The service over the phone was absolutely brilliant, I could not have asked for anything better. I spoke to Aidan a couple of times over the phone, who explained everything to me in great detail so that I could understand. This is my first ever insurance policy, so a lot of things I did not understand, but Aidan made sure that everything was in terms that I could understand.”

“After leaving myself a note to ring Lexham for a quote,(March '16), on the address sheet from my Vespa Club magazine I did call and to my delight the phone call was answered by a lovely, well mannered young lady called Olivia. She was so helful and went out of her way to help me with the insurance which I wanted. She never once failed to listen to my needs and made me feel like the most important part of the brokerage deal.”

“Bought a Cycle Recovery Policy at BikeExpo Manchester. Vanessa on the stand was very helpful and policy information was e-mailed to me within an hour. However it was a quote for a completely different policy. I phoned the office and was told the best way to deal with this was to put the policy documents in the post. I received them the following day, which was when the cover started, so all OK.”

“I initially got the website confused when adding occupations and named drivers and had to start again from scratch so I think this could be improved. Also it doesn't appear to store/combine quotations under a single email address, it seems to store them under username/password so I was unable to manage several quotes in one place. I'm happy to be corrected if this is not the case. But all this aside it was straightforward and I was satisfied with the quotes and purchasing process.”
