“My 23month old 49inch LG tv’s screen developed a blue tinge( common inherent fault with LG tv’s) image was also very dark and blurry. After fault finding, resetting, disconnecting equipment as advised by LG and eventually sending a photo of the screen requested by LG who now knew the tv, model number, age and the actual fault. They described the fault themselves in their email and said they could repair the fault on the tv For £70.I agreed and arranged for pick up. Two weeks later they emailed saying the part required for the repair on my less than two year old tv had been discontinued.! They offered a refund of the repair cost (£70) but nothing else was said about returning my tv. It’s now 3 months on and we are still trying hard on our part to resolve the issue. LG’s customer service is terrible, unhelpful, arrogant, and have no real concept of “ Customer Service” companies like this should not be encouraged. Please, please, do not buy any LG products, they don’t deserve your hard earned cash. Tell everyone you know to avoid them too, look at other review sites and you’ll see how bad they actually are. Oh and by the way they think they can keep the £70 repair fee because they may make offer an alternative solution which, they suggested. Thankful they only quoted £70 for the “non repair” hate to think how bad I’d feel if I’d paid £200 for a repair. Avoid, avoid, avoid”

“washing machine - warranty beware purchased a washing machine with 5 year warranty. registered the warranty on the day by ringing a number on the LG card - register now for free guarantee and received unique guarantee code. very surprised after 2 years when domestic and general write to me and state warranty is up! it turns out LG refuse to honour any extended warranty, I was supposed to go online and register not use the LG register now for your free guarantee. this is merely a call to domestic and general to sell you an insurance policy after the 2 years are up. LG you have acted gisgracefully.”

“Sent a 55 inch TV for repair which cost £519 and this needed a new screen. Picked up by courier and brought back only to be worse than when it went in the first place. At least I could watch the TV before this went for repair, it is now a black screen with sound only. Customer services and LG resolution team manager have been appalling and offered me £20 having been without a TV for almost 2 weeks and it now needs to go back for a repair that I have to arrange again. No compassion from the sarcastic unbothered manager who doesn’t care about their customers. Avoid LG altogether and the repair service is beyond belief.”

“I bought an lg tv from currys at first i was happy with the product, then the remote started playing up i called lg customer service who told me i need to send it in for testing, so i would be without a remote for my new tv for a week. I then called currys who agreed to send me a new remote so we could test if it was at fault or the tv itself”

“Bought a new OLED TV from Currys 15 months ago. Model OLED65B7V at a cost of over £2000. I now have 2 wide green lines across the bottom of the screen known as burn in. It appears this is from watching the news channels that have breaking news banners. Using "You Tube" to display a red background I can see the logo BREAKING NEWS on the bottom left corner of the screen. The guarantee does not cover burn in and any attempt to remove the burn in has failed using the TV pixel refresh options. What a waste of money. Will have to bear with it until I can afford a good Samsung QLED TV.”

“I have nothing but bad things to say about LG! I have this washer it’s extremely noisy on spin. Had 2 engineers out but still not fixed. LG is not registered with the appliance ombudsman. Customer service is shocking there customer service style is scripted. My supplier wants the uplift number but LG are refusing they want to repair but 2 engineers have previously been and not fixed they have said it ain’t sounding ok. LG don’t put its customers first!”

“We had a new kitchen fitted early November. The £1600 LG American fridge had a dent in the door. To cut a LONG story short we had eight replacement doors over the past 2 months, all with dents and/or scratches. We decided enough was enough and asked for a new fridge. It arrived today. Guess what, it had a dent in the door. I have a kitchen full of food that should be refrigerated, apparently they are bringing a replacement this evening. If I wasn't so angry I would say it's laughable. We have returned from 8 years in Texas and never experienced such diabolical service there. DONT TOUCH LG WITH A BARGEPOLE!”

“Received damaged american fridge freezer, initial customer service was good, but it then started to fall apart. incomplete replacement door sent out when I asked for a total exchange after waiting over a month!, 2nd replacement door finally received, got that fitted then cooling fan broke down, this product cost approx. £1000 and only had it a few months. Management never call back when they promise and compensation offered was £20 ! LG have a good reputation but their customer service sucks. Exchanged for Samsung”
