For 3 1/2 months we have issues with our model #LRMDS3006S/ 00 fridge. The repair has been here 5 times. Product is covered under a manufacture warranty. The condenser& compressor has been replaced. Hundreds of dollars of food has been discarded. Today 7/16/24 the temp is 48fridge, freezer 22. Every day it is so up and down. Customer service says they must come 6 times, yes the repairman was on vacation for a week, so no service that week. The 5 th call said it would be replaced after the 6th visit. Called to set it up, but they “lost “ the last 2 call complaints! We talked to 2 supervisors. We got mad on the last call and they hung up. As of today the repairman’s request to replace was denied. Our next step is to call New York State consumer products division, blast social media with our story. We had to buy a small fridge to get by while this is being settled. Someone pleas Help!!!

Our refrigerator stopped working 2 weeks ago. It's less than 3-years-old. A service repair person came out today to look at it (I haven't had a fridge for 2 weeks already). He figured out the problem and told me he had to order the part. When I asked how long before the part came in, he couldn't even guess. I asked if it would be weeks or months, and he said he really didn't know. I have medication that needs to be refrigerated, so I ended up buying a tiny fridge to try to get by. To expect someone to go an indefinite period of time with a very expensive fridge that doesn't work seems quite unreasonable. When I express that it's a long time to go without, the reaction is that it's no big deal. I have nothing against the repair person. He was nice and even came early. My issue is that LG is suppose to be great. The fridge died in less than 3 years, and I have no idea how long it'll be before they'll get around to fixing it. I don't see me buying another LG fridge in the future.

Called the Repair contact number given to me by LG email. I was letting them know in advance that I would not be available in the first hour of the time slot they provided. 9:00 to 13:00 was the given repair time frame. I was letting them know that I would not be available for 9:00 to 10:00 due to train issues. That's all I wanted to inform. So they had adequate time 10:00 to 13:00 for the repair. The repair only takes up maximum 15 minutes btw, some say even less. Back to what their service: They asked question previously already answered. And when I tried getting them back on track multiple times they ignored what I was saying entirely and completely. The customer service is based in Phillipines for cost cutting. And I am not being racist, but they could not comprehend what I was asking of them. Don't get me wrong they were nice over the phone, friendly to talk to, but a one trick pony with no skills but to ask the questions they had. And could answer none. And by the end they told me I would be given an email to in 1 to 2 working days to help me. When 9:00 was the time I called as they only opened at 9:00 for calls. All in all I was not helped one bit. LG do better.

Not even three years into having a set of LG appliances and all of them have issues! Today my refrigerator was leaking, come to find out that the whole unit is no longer cooling. The items in my freezer are defrosting and the items in my fridge are experiencing condensation. My LG app notified me of problem with the unit so I called customer service. Customer service understood my issue but the all next available agents in my area are booked for another 5 days! Not even a month ago my dishwasher started discoloring and produced what look like scratches that are smooth to the touch on the stainless steel surface? One night I started my dishwasher and the next morning it looks destroyed? Could it be heat damage? Last year I called customer service regarding an issue on my stovetop range knobs. The black print on the knobs had come off. The print was no longer knowledgeable. My range was still under warranty but they were charging $65 per knob! For 6 knobs! Save yourself the headache and do not buy LG. My family had a Kenmore refrigerator for almost 18 years. We still have it as an emergency refrigerator and it still runs! I hope this review helps someone!

LRFS28XBD 07/06/2014 In 7 months freezer and ice maker fan went bad. Couldn't understand customer service person. She had a terrible accent. Took 2 and 3 times to understand her. They gave me a date ,07/10/2024, they said I would get service. Then the refrigerator quit cooling. Called back to update problem. The day LG said I would have service, nobody showed up. Contacted repair company and was told LG cancelled my appointment and did notify me-of this!! Called LG to complain and get date of service. Was told the repair and sent repair number. Contacted the different repair facility received voicemail which specifically stated "Do not believe anything LG has told me" they would contact me to set up an appointment. They contacted and requested I send pictures of original receipt an model sticker inside and provided error codes. Complied. 2 days later get a different person from same repair facility requesting the same information. I informed them I had already sent information to the first numbers. Representative said they didn't have access to information unless it entered into system, so apparently they didn't finish my ticket. She told they were swamped with LG repair claims and couldn't get someone there for 2 weeks!! They said they would order parts that error codes represented but wouldn't guarantee it would be fixed! I wished I knew about the 3 different class action suits for known issues the last 10 years. Save yourself headaches and purchase a different brand! I WILL NEVER BUY LG AGAIN! LG=LOW GRADE, LOUSY GARBAGE!!

My review is not necessarily about the product itself - although I’m not thrilled with what happened … my review is for LG’s customer service. It is the worst of the worst. A little over a year ago I purchased an LG washer and drier. Both were pretty top of the line and front loading. I did a load of laundry this morning and once I heard the tone sound marking the end of the washing cycle, I walked into my laundry room to find a flood on my floor. My first instinct was that the drain pipe must have fallen out of the wall or that one of the hoses came loose - but that was not the case. I opened the standing drawer that lifts the washers foot off the ground and it was soaked as well. But the pre-drilled holes in the bottom allowed the water to leak out underneath the drawers onto the floor underneath the entire washing machine. I opened the little compartment on the bottom left of the washer which contains the drain pump filter. Water was coming out of the bottom of the screw in plug so - I found the leak. But the cap was as tightly fit as possible. I then called LG and that’s when things got nuts. First they disconnected me. Then - they disconnected me again. Then, after holding for a long long time they disconnected me again. Finally, I got through. I spoke with some who knew less than I did. He explained that the one year warranty was a couple weeks too late and wanted my credit card so that they could charge me $450 - over half of what a brand new washer cost - and they would send someone out to fix it. That was a total waste of an hour of my time as I’m not spending $450 to fix a $799, one year old washing machine. I watched a YouTube video describing the steps to take to clean out the drain pump filter. When I removed the filter, there was a little tiny bit of wet lint but surely nothing one would expect to cause a catastrophic leak. I took the lint out, rinsed the filter in the sink and put it back it and ran an empty washer through a cycle. No leak. What amounted to a couple of hairs caused this washing machine to leak. I seem to have solved the problem but obviously it wouldn’t take much to have that happen again. To think that rather than walk me through those simple steps, LG customer service wanted to extort $450 from me is unconscionable. So here is the long and the short of it. There is no world in which I would ever purchase another LG product again. And now that I have warned you - my I suggest you purchase a better brand name as well.

I bought a OLED tv and 4 months later it's black. It's under warranty but refuse to fix it. I have proof of purchase. They are saying it's not coveres under manufactured warranty and to throw away and buy a new one or pay for repair of 3000$ which is triple the price of the TV.

It took me five times with customer service waiting and talking to them going through troubleshooting steps for over an hour each time just to get disconnected. They will do anything to get out of scheduling a repair for warranties. At one point, they wanted me to hire a specialist to come look at my dryer exhaust vent because my word was not good enough to look at a foot and a half of exhaust vent. I am truly disappointed in their customer service department with them being such a Well known and expensive brand. Did mommy tell you to come here?

I would give zero stars if I could. Great appliances, but horrible service. Worst customer service, sales, etc that I have ever experienced. Do NOT buy LG products through LG directly. It isn’t worth it.

Horrible customer service. 4 year old fridge went out over a weekend and is still under warranty. One week in and the company who is supposed to fix my fridge just now ordered the parts needed. They are coming from Alabama which will take at least three days then still have to get on schedule for technician. Looking at 2 damn weeks to get a fridge fixed under warranty. DONT EVER BUY AN LG AND I CAN PROMISE I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT.

Lg refrigerator for less than a year I then started having problems with it. My food was stale but fridge was on. Turns out Everytime I open and shut door power to compressor kept shitting off. Call LG they send a tech and it take 3 to 4 days . When tech leaves fridge will work for about a day or two and it’s back to spoiling my food! Hundreds of dollars down the drain!! Broken fridge every 3 months ! But today I am more than frustrated because the tech came after 3 days of waiting , LG sent parts ahead of time, and these are not even the parts needed to fix fridge ! Now we have to wait an extra 48 hours for them to fix! BEYOND FRUSTRATED AND THINKING WHY DO THEY SEND PARTS AHEAD WHEN THEY DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG? Is there something we don’t know? Faulty system they only know about?? It would prob be cheaper to just send new fridge ALREADY!

Please help me share this post. This is a review for LG Refrigerator. We bought on January 2019 and LG french door refrigerator at Costco. When you buy a refrigerator, you expect it to last, mostly if it is expensive. However, this refrigerator lasted three years. We called the manufacturer, LG and they explained that those refrigerators were causing problems and as a courtesy they will provide us with extended warranty for 5 years. They came and fixed the problem, but still a couple of months later the fridge wasn't working again. It doesn't cool enough to keep food fresh. We had to throw all the food. This happened three times. Also the freezer wasn't freezing any more. They fixed, last time on October/November 2022. Well, now the fridge is broken again it is not cooling any more. The temperature inside is 50 degrees. We called the company again, but, guess what? The warranty expired on January 2024 and they will not fix it anymore. They transfer me to their technician to get a quote on how much will cost us to fix it. They told me $449.00 to come and $516.35 to hold the appointment. Are they freaking crazy? DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK. No matter how pretty it is. PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION, TO AVOID PEOPLE NOT TO LOSE THEIR MONEY ON A DISPOSABLE APPLIANCE.

6 months, that is how long we had our $1000 washer machine until it decided to fail. It developed a terrible leak and a grinding noise during the rinse cycle. Figured things happen, and it’s under warranty and LG is a big popular brand that should stand behind their brand (spoiler, I was wrong). Called the LG warranty line and they set up an appointment for the next week. OK, we can survive a week. Got an automated notice that my appointment was pushed 2 more weeks right in the middle of a pre planned vacation. Called them and they explained that they were preordering the parts needed based on my description of the issue and it could be 10 days for the parts to come in. Makes sense (wish they had ordered the parts the week before but ok…). Fast forward 2 weeks and we cut our vacation early to be home for the appointment. Then we get a call 2 hrs before the scheduled arrival time telling us our appointment was pushed 3 more weeks!! So 6 weeks (hopefully) for a repair to a washer that failed after 6 months. Between the product quality and customer service it is difficult to tell which is more lacking! Avoid this one, this is not the LG of old and they seem to have really fallen off in both categories.

Do not buy LG appliances. My refrigerator broke after 2 years, my dryer after 3 years and my dishwasher doesn't really do a good job. They are bad appliances. Spend a little more and get a better brand.

This unit stopped working less than 30 days after being installed. It was more than 30 days after the purchase so I had to deal directly with LG. Unit cannot be worked on because of the type of coolant so it was approved for an exchange (on 5/30/24) to be contacted within 7 business days. Still waiting 7/4/24! Customer service is weak. They seem to only be able to escalate/elevate 1 way regardless of the outcome. It has escalated dozens of times, including the Presidential Liaison team, but no one seems to be able to do anything! I've completed the Talk to the President area on the website twice in the last 30 days and have never heard from anyone.
