“I bought a coat 6 months ago the wool bobbled after 2wks , and i have just bought a pair of suede shoes after one week they fell apart this company should be closed for ever its complete rubbish twice bitten never again.”

“Awful company with a shockingly bad return policy that make it impossible for you to not lose money if an item does not fit correctly. I strongly advise against using this company. SHEIN provide better quality products for similar prices and a first class returns policy.”

“My sunflowers I ordered were very poor quality. They were all squashed and leaves fallen off . The box they were in was crushed and broken. They looked nothing like the picture on your website . Very disappointed and will never purchase anything again from this company. Wendy Raftery”

“the clothes are cheap & way too small i ordered leggings size 16 my 17 yr old granddaughter who is a size 8 cant wear them either now i want to return the items & you are doing everything you can to stop me returning them i just want my money back”

“I ordered a dress that looked lovely in the picture, but when it arrived it wasn’t! Didn’t look anything like & very badly made, cheap fabric. I won’t try to return it to China, they should have a return place in UK, post would cost more than the dress. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy from this company.”

“I ordered an ivory jacket to go with a dress I have bought for a wedding which I’m positive I put size 12 on, I contacted the company to inform them I needed the size changed as it had not been shipped yet and was told that the item was a made to order selection. This meant that if I cancel I would only get 50% back and a handling fee would be charged if I changed the size or requested an handling fee! I have searched their site and looked at my order confirmation and there is nothing that states it is made to order or their handling fee or that o get only 50% back, I have refused to pay the handling fee and insisted on a full refund.”

“do not order - i received a white dress with no tags - the dress was filthy dirty with marks all over it and it was disgusting and looked like someone had smeared snot all over it ! - returns are shocking DO NOT ORDER”

“Don't order! Nothing is as it looks on the pictures! It's all low quality copies poorly made and most likely under horrible conditions to the people making it. Bad fabrics, not what you see in the pictures which is obviously taken from another site. Everything is made with low quality materials and nothing like the pictures and then you have to pay customs on top! So regeret my order and now they wont refund all the items! Completely hoax and fake. No integrity - don't trust them!”

“This company is a total rip off!!!! Don’t fall for their models, their prices or their products. Awful awful awful!!!!! I have never been so disappointed. The dresses I got were thin, made of ridiculous material…nothing like what they described them as…just an awful company. I feel like I got punked, disabelief, I can’t believe I fell for this junk. Never again! Don’t even download this stupid app, it’s a waste of time, waste of your money, waste of your sanity. Ridiculous…what a waste. They need to be reported and fined for all the junk they sell. Very disappointed. I can’t believe I fell for it, lesson learned!”

“Dress is a different colour than on their photoes. It doesnt fit, to small even though I ordered a larger size. Its impossible to get a ticket to return and reading below you cant get a full refund and expected to send back to China at you own expence. I won't be using this company again and try and block them. Very disappointing.”

“I tried to return the dress I ordered without even opening the package. They sent me a huge list of how to return it to China. Otherwise I was offered a 40% return amount. I didn’t get it. After multiple emails, they sent me a “your ticket was resolved” email and claimed they would refund the moment. They did not refund anything. They don’t have anyone you can contact, and no phone number. It’s a terrible place to buy clothes.”

“I read the reviews on here when I was initiating a return to Light in the Box and they are all true... they absolutely do make things extreeemely difficult! I needed to return 2 of the 3 dresses I purchased. So, I went in all guns blazing, threatened to complain to the Industry of Commerce in China and that I would only accept a full refund including cost of return postage. They enhanced the deal to a 50% refund or 60% reward (credit) which was initially 30% and 50%. I firmly declined. I stood my ground and they have now given me a 70% refund on the full order (3 dresses which totalled £120) and I keep the dresses (2 of which I will try to sell on Ebay, the other one i will use). I provided photos of the poor quality and stains and inundated them with emails and tickets with CAPS ON AND LOTS OF !!!!!!!! lol. My advice, if you want to return, is to blame the quality rather than sizing etc. Make it their responsibility. Provide pics of the poor stitching, stains, anything! I't won't be hard because the quality is very poor. Keep telling them it is their fault and give the impression that you know your rights and you will get your money back. Good luck!”

“Ordered some shorts from Light in the Box. They are tiny and seem to have a different size guide to other trousers on the site. When I come to return the items I have to cover the cost of returning to Asia. This is NOT acceptable.”
