Bed throw/wall hanging nothing like hand made item in internet picture. Scammers. Sent item nothing like what I ordered on flimsy material with design out of focus so you couldn’t look at it! Don’t touch these people.

I ordered a smart watch dom20a, for 484.09, on 13.2.22. Never received the watch and today is already May 4th. I asked for refund which They promised to send but never got in my account. My recommendation is NOT to buy from this company. They are unreliable. Eliyahu Marmor Israel

Very very slow delivery. The shirt was not as described. I was told I could return it to China but it would probably cost me the same price as the item. They offered me 20%but I would never ever buy from there again. I felt the design of their website was rubbish too. To evidence my complaint with photos was such a pain compared to other websites.

I purchased a dress and a top first and was very happy with them so i then placed another order for about 5 or 6 tops, waited ages and when they finally got here they were about three sizes to small even though i had ordered the same size as before and checked with their measurements. Also they were really poor quality with cotton threads hanging from every seam. So when i went to return them i discovered that i had to return them to china. These items cost me £89 and it would have cost about £50 to return them. So after reading the small print about returns i realised that even if i paid to return them they would not give me a full refund. Also i had read a few reviews that said they sent items back and still didn't get a refund. I ended up not wanting to spend even more money on this trash so accepted their offer of refund of about £11. Totally disgusted with this company and i would highly recommend that you never purchase anything from them unless you have money to throw away. Its daylight robbery and i don't know how they get away with it. They lure you in with one good purchase and then after that you just get clothes that look like a five year old made them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Utterly dissatisfied with the service. Ordered a few years ago when delivery was free. Orders took 3-4 weeks to arrive. Just paid £4.50 for a 6-9 day delivery. 3 weeks later am still waiting. The website stops you from getting a refund easily and you can’t put in a complaint. Awful.

I have had a similar situation to what I am reading on all these reviews. I ordered four items, at a cost of around £135, in the hope that one of them would be suitable to match the dress I bought for my son’s wedding. All of them are terrible quality. When you want to return something you have to create a ticket, but subsequent tickets seem to delete the previous ones. I have had five email exchanges with LightInTheBox so far. One of them told me to send photographs of what I want to return and why they are faulty. It wasn’t difficult the stitching was falling apart the hems were crooked and bunched up. I sent all the photos and labelled with the codes of each item. They then offered me 15% off my next order as compensation. Then they told me I couldn’t return them at all. I sent a really shirty email saying if something is Poor quality, it is in their terms and conditions that they should provide a refund. They asked me to send photographs again, ie back to square one. I am awaiting a reply. Does anybody know how to deal with this company because we are being misled and if they were in this country we could complain to the financial ombudsman and trading standards? DO NOT BUY FROM LIGHTINTHEBOX!!

I ordered 3 tops.. 2 are nothing like the picture.. I've tried and tried to sort out this stupid ticket they are asking for but their site won't accept my email password?.. I then looked at this site and after reading reviews I realise I might as well accept I've been ripped off , not bother trying to send these items back for a refund but never shop with them again. I just don't understand why they are being allowed to keep on with their poor products, poor quality, poor returns, and poor sizings..

Waited a long time for the Delivery around 5 weeks, very disappointed with the products not like the photos , then I spoke to customer service who made it impossible for me to return the goods !

Please, please someone stop this company from reducing people to tears and losing their money. I wrongly thought it could not go so horribly wrong. Quality is dreadful, sizing absurd, pictures completely different - it is wrong on so many levels !!! ……Stop this company from stealing from the vulnerable … the returns policy does not exist and I will be contacting the Daily Mail to stop them advertising their products - lost all my confidence 😡

I ordered a dress for a wedding, but I received it too late. I would keep it except that the material is very cheap. I am trying to return it, but I do not have high hopes. Luckily, I only ordered one item so I am not out too much money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Firstly I have to say that I received perfect customer service from Lightinthebox. The lady who helped me when my ordered item was out of stock could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The refund for the unavailable item was made very quickly, without my having to ask, and included the postage costs. Sadly when the shirt I'd ordered arrived it was absolutely nothing like the one in the photo. I had ordered what looked like a cheesecloth hippy/beach bum shirt, a simple item, which had it been anything like the photo would have been excellent. Unfortunately their photography is very clever and I would hazard a guess that NOTHING they sell is similar to that photographed because you will notice in every picture of a printed material item the pattern has been photo-shopped on so it looks vibrant and the material looks starched and crispy. It is not like this in reality, and despite their excellent customer service the product was a huge disappointment. If you intend to use them, be assured you will be disappointed, so do not build up your hopes. My £22 item was just two bits of bedsheet material stitched together, nothing remotely like the great-looking cheesecloth beach item in the photo. I'm really sad as had hoped to order £hundreds worth of stuff from them. The cleverly altered photos make their products look fabulous, but reality is a serious disappointment.

Beware. I don’t believe their positive reviews. I was informed by the delivery company that I owed £100 customs. I wouldn’t pay it. I now have no dresses and no refund.

I would give them a zero rating if I could. I ordered two boys suits from here. I was weary as you never know when you order online. But I was desperate as I could not find something local. They were to be matching suits in black. When the order went through I saw the date of delivery was longer then I anticipated and I also got cold feet. The website said they would cancel your order if you did it during the processing phase. I cancelled the order immediately but they responded and refused to cancel it as they said it would arrive in time. But when it did get here, the packaging was awful, and one of the suits was blue. I requested a refund if I return it but they refuse to cover all the costs. I understand their website says they will not pay for shipping costs, but this was there error and I requested it to be canceled in the first place. The suits were also very cheap looking. Please don’t wast your money here. I have also read other reviews where once the item is returned they don’t refund you.

I ordered 18 items totaling $305.84 on March 29th after paying expedited shipping charge of $71.30 I received my order on April 25th and immediately started the return process for 8 items because some are so different from the pictures and the quality is just horrible. When I try to process returns, I was only able select one item at a time and when I tried to select another item to return it does not allow me to do it under same order number. I received an email that this company want me to accept 15% of what I paid? My God I just opened the boxes and I replied to the email I reject the offer and want instruction how to return but still no response. When I tried to process again I am receiving email stating "We are contacting you to inform you that our records show that there is another ticket in our system, we are deleting this ticket and move forward using the other ticket." When I tried to enter the ticket number, I am getting "this ticket is now closed". This company is so deceptive and fraudulent business practices. The items I received look noting like the photos on their website. I need my money back in the amount of $107.46. Pair of earrings that I ordered came in a plastic bag and only part of 1 earring was in the bag. This company has not contacted me about the refund request and I guess I will never my money back. Lesson learn is never to order anything from China and never ever buy from this " light in the box".

Never ever buy from this light in the box I was appalled at quality+ didn't look like what was advertised completely different colour i actually had to give to charity should have taken picture but didn't even want to look at it disgusted by it. DONT BUY thats all

I went on this site as it said United Kingdom. After I placed my order I soon found out it is based in China and I know for a fact I won't get a refund or be able to cancel my order as they have taken my money but not sent me any notification
