I love dresses but they take so long to arrive. Summer will be over soon so it will be a complete waste of delivery money and dress money

I did not realise the dresses I ordered would come from Asia. The dresses were not tagged (card tag attached usually to the neck and can be cut off when satisfied with the purchase). Nor did they have a fabric tag sewn to the inside seam of the dresses - so no washing instructions, bar code - 'nothing'! The fabric of at least one of the dresses was awful - more like plastic. Due to the poor quality fabric and sizing (different for each dress), 4 of them need to be returned. This is an awful experience. Light in the Box do everything they can to make it difficult for you to return unwanted items. They suggest that it is your fault the dresses don't fit ie you didn't take enough care when ordering the items. They say you have 7 days to organise the return, but each time the customer service responds, you have to jump through another hoop and the days tick by. And then when they acknowedge you can return the items, they say the do not have a 'returns form'. Instead you are expected to post the items back to the warehouse in Asia, with some random message on the front so that the package gets through customs, and wait 4 weeks or more for the refund to happen. Frankly after this performance, I don't trust Light in the Box to make the refund. I anticipate after 4 weeks or so that they will say the package didn't arrive / wasn't returned. All in all, a terrible experience and one which I will not be repeating. Anne

Ordered a dress standard size. Arrived. Would only fit a Barbie Doll. Quality was very poor and did not represent the advertised dress whatsoever. Am still trying to return for full refund - the company keep asking for proof there’s a problem! Keep offering some kind of part refund only. Surely saying it would never fit as is not true to size should be good enough. Reading the other reviews below it looks as if they’ll never refund me, and do some kind of postage scam. Disappointing. I’ll have to learn from this and will never use this company again. I’m also going to make sure others aren’t burnt like myself, and other reviewers here have been. Nothing spreads faster than bad press.

I am so impressed with Light In The Box. I of course was wary of ordering something coming from China because I wasn't sure I would receive it. My fears however were unfounded when my order arrived around 8 to 9 days later. I have since ordered a few items, and the same has happened with a fantastic delivery. Also, the goods have been of great quality and superb value with fashions I haven't seen before. This company is highly recommended and I will not hesitate to order from them again.

Light in the box is a SCAM website! Be careful do not buy. They scammed 400 dollars for a dress, I was in a hurry to buy for my opera concert, never again! I asked for refund they disappeared (do not believe them if they reply here immediately is just for marketing, they are afraid of bad reviews because otherwise their scam doesn't work). You know what is their strategy if you ask for a refund? They disappear, after they offer a coupon for an other product and if you send the item you will not get the refund money back. Is a scam! The dress is bad quality, it loses all the sparkling things my house is full of that ***! NEVER BUY THEY SCAM YOUR MONEY be careful guys buy only on trustworthy websites!

am very disapointed with Light in the Box as i have a shirt i am trying very hard to send back and order a smaller size and it is impossible so i will take the loss and i thought i unsubscribed from this hard to get intouch with company

Everything went wrong, charged £175 tax, this was not made clear when ordered. The dresses arrived, very bad quality, look different from pictures, colour and material looks different, I ordered these dresses in a standard size NOT made to measure, I asked for a returns label and was refused, told I could not return any of these dresses. I am very disappointed with the no customer services, no contact number and take days to reply by email

I ordered a beautiful looking dress on small size, I am a standard size 10 but the dress was much too jig for me. I have been trying to return it for a full refund and got nowhere except alternative offers to keep it or send it back to Asia!

I purchased clothing from LightInTheBox years ago but could not get the sizing correct. Now years later, i saw a shirt i really liked advertised on Facebook , so i did an image search and bingo, found the exact same shirt on LITB at half the price, but i wasnt convinced it would be the same quality, but i bought it. OMG, how LightInTheBox has improved, i am so impressed. From placing my order rite up to delivery, everything was above expectation and my beautiful shirt was delivered in just a week, WoW.. Now thats what i call a well organised system. Well done to all at LITB.. Finally.. The shirt is stunning, sizing was just perfect, and the quality is first class. So guess what.. I was back ordering more.. Spoilt for choice as well. Im back to stay... 10/10.. Every box ticked ✅
