Strange texture. It disintegrated in contact with moist ingredients. Resealable pack would be good as one started to go hard which made it even more expensive. Quite disappointed overall :(

I find lo dough very dry. It requires a sauce to make edible. I am yet to try it as a pizza. But as a wrap or burrito is dry.

Very disappointed. I used it as a pizza base. It held the filling but was like eating cardboard!

Hi Sue, We'd love to help you have a better Lo-Dough experience. It's taken us 3 years of hard dedicated work to bring our product to market and it really upsets us to hear about it when someone has a bad experience. We genuinely believe that when prepared correctly Lo-Dough doesn't go like cardboard. Please, can we talk to you about how you used Lo-Dough and explain where we think you might've gone wrong? We'd love to hear from you. Please respond with your email address or drop me an email on hello@lodough.co Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

Its mad looking at a piece of the dough , almost transparent when you put it to the light and weighing in at grams that I have just paid £2.50 for it . Its super thin so when you bring it out the oven its crispy and very thin . I like the concept but to think the actual cost to make this will be pennies , what everyone is paying for is the cardboard box for delivery and all the marketing surrounding it . I dont think its value for money , its about convenience which you are paying a premium for .

Hi Sara, Lo-Dough took 2 years to develop, uses expensive premium quality ingredients and is produced using an incredibly complicated and time-consuming production process. Each batch taking 8 hours to make. We feel all this goes to make Lo-Dough a truly revolutionary product with a nutritional composition, texture and shelf life unlike anything else on the market. The price is in no way deliberately set to make Lo-Dough inaccessible to people, it is simply the result of how much it costs to produce. We are working tirelessly to find ways to reduce our production costs so we can bring the price down, and we have successfully brought the price down by 7% since launching and now offer subscriptions of big boxes at a further 15% reduction. We are dedicated to bringing our product to a larger market and reducing price is at the core of this strategy. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

I tried this 'bread' and it was pretty tasteless. I heated it in a frying pan as advised and it became very dry and also tasteless. Probably great with pizzas or smothered in cheese, but nothing to write home about. I would have given it more, except it was so expensive.

I had really high hopes for this product and commend the makers in their attempts to produce a viable alternative to high calorie/high carb foodstuffs. I'm sorry to give such a negative review but I found lo-dough to be synthetic and unsubstantial. I tried one as an alternative to a slice of bread and used the other in a pasty baked in the oven but I'm afraid neither were to my taste.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts, it's really hard to please everyone. Many people absolutely love Lo-Dough and a few seem to dislike it intensely. It appears we have a Marmite product on our hands. Are you sure you used it correctly? What did you make? We'd love to help you love Lo-Dough like so many other people do. Feel free to pop us an email over to hello@lodough.co and we'll certainly be sure to help you. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

Really not very impressed, the taste is ok but the consistency is like stale cloudbread, I made the mistake of buying two boxes! The positive thing is the convenience, you can just grab a pack and two of them are under 5gms of carbs so for keto its easy. I still dont think they will ever replace my almond flour rolls

Was really excited about this so looked at a some recipes beforehand. I’m gutted as to me they taste awful like polystyrene, tried it as a wrap & was awful tried it as a pizza base which was slightly better & tried it toasted to use with fajitas & I just do not like the taste or texture at all. Very bland & plastic smelling. The service & everything is excellent but it’s just not a product for me I’m sorry to say. They are very expensive so I feel like I wasted my money as I bought 7 packs! I will attempt to try more ideas with them to use them up but sadly won’t be recommending or purchase again.

We found it not very appealing. as Pizza base it burnt very easy and topping had not cooked properly. as a wrap cannot describe texture. Not to my wife or my taste. Rather expensive as well.

Was really excited to read about Lo-Dough and couldn’t wait to try it. Tried it as a wrap but unfortunately just felt like I was eating a soft polystyrene throwaway plate. Tried it lightly fried as suggested and as a pizza base - it was OK and better used as this but the E464 ingredient worried me and I would have been much more willing to give it another go without this addition. Just can’t get over this and the weird foam like texture. Really sorry as I think it’s a great idea.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. HPMC (E464) is a modified cellulose made from plant fibres and is used to enhance the texture of Lo-Dough. Nutritionally it counts as 100% soluble fibre and is considered completely non-toxic and food safe to levels much higher than those used in Lo-Dough. Being a source of fibre, it passes through the body and plays a role in healthy digestion. Since it is used as an additive it has been assigned an e-number, vitamin C is also used as an additive and has an e-number too. It is important to be aware that only a handful of e-numbers are considered bad, they are usually colourings or artificial flavours. Here's more info on e-numbers notice how HPMC is not mentioned http://www.exploreenumbers.co.uk/top-10-e-numbers-try-avoid.html Here's a study that shows HPMC can aid in weight loss. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21599870 Please let me know if you require any additional information. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

As a bread substitute both the flavour and texture leaves an awful lot to be desired. I made a wrap for a BLT and it was completely ruined by the Lo-Dough. As a Pizza base it was much better and I would have hard-pressed on a blind tasting to tell the difference between the Lo-Dough and a thin, crisp, pizza base. I have read many comments about the cost of this product. Seriously folks, get real with your pricing and you may be able to get this into the shops. At £5 for two coffee filter ‘slices’ of bread substitute I am unlikely to buy again. I don’t need to be told that bulk buying will bring the price down. At the moment trying the sample pack has proved a novel experiment and worth a £5 punt to see if the product was any substitute for the real thing. As a pizza base its OK, but I’m not so struck on pizza that I would rush to spend the amount of money you are asking for to repeat the experience.

Hi Claire, Thanks for your review, it's great to hear that you loved Lo-Dough. Lo-Dough has a 6-month shelf life. It comes in sealed packets of two pieces. Unopened these packets last up to 6 months without the need for refrigeration. We do advise that once opened the two pieces should be consumed within 1 day, although will last longer if kept in a sealed container in the fridge. Lo-Dough also freezes perfectly, you may like to freeze the second piece if you don't plan on using it straight away. Simply wrap in clingfilm and place in the freezer. Lo-Dough is so light that it will have defrosted in the time it takes to make a pizza. Please pop an email over to hello@lodough.co and we'll be more than happy to replace the mouldy pieces. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough

I didn't like it, found it powdery and tasteless. It went soggy when adding tomato for pizza topping. Expensive for what it is.
