Julie, the manager, inappropriately handled a phone conversation with me. I had genuine questions regarding one of the products (liver snacks). Refused to give me the name of her line manager, I politely asked and explained clearly in a good easy to understand manner, she then became nervous suddenly and started assuming this was some prank call...? then proceeded to hang the phone up on my face. This behaviour should not be acceptable and I can't in good faith purchase or recommend anything from this business.

Prior to purchasing a dog bed from them, I called and spoke to customer service to verify which size bed would be appropriate for my dog. The representative (Millie) wasn't familiar with the breed, but told me the breeds each size was made for and the approximate weight. I also verified their return policy (28 days). With her insights, I ordered a bed. The quality is excellent, but unfortunately the bed is too small. I then reached out on the same day the order was delivered to exchange it for a larger bed. They told me I am responsible for return shipping and they cannot help with a label. I then contacted the Post Office, UPS, and DHL. UPS and DHL are charging close to $1,000 to return the product to the UK. The Post Office stated the box is too big for them to accept. So, I am out $219. I will never buy from them again and would urge you to avoid purchasing from them if you are located in the USA.

I have used this company on half a dozen occasions extremely successfully. However, when things go wrong they are beyond unhelpful and I think it's when things go wrong that you are best to judge a company on how they handle things. Legally, anything bought online can be returned if it's not what you are expecting as you can't examine the quality. However, they have refused to accept the return (I was returning one of the four items purchased due to fit and quality and keeping the remaining three.) They were unhelpful and rude and also appear to have inadequate training regarding consumer law so I am now having put in a complaint via Trading Standards and have them deal with this issue which is long winded and annoying but an important thing to do on principle. They have said that as it was bought from their outlet their policy is no returns which isn't legally correct. Nor was there any warning of this when buying. Needless to say, they have lost a previously happy customer and I shall be telling all my friends to stop using them too.

Bought the bamboo drying dog bed cover for nearly £50. Within 6 months it is covered in holes and I’ve had to threw it away. Totally unfit for purpose and when I sent an email letting you know what had happened you offered a measly 10% off. As I replied to the email with quality like that I won’t be purchasing again!

Paid for next day delivery (£147.00 order) on 27th November, did not arrive until 5th December; these were essential items. Half was missing, the following arrived the next day. When it arrived, 2 of items were the wrong size and toggles were missing. The crate is also bent and the bottom tray has chip marks. I contacted them and no offer to refund my next day delivery charge but they did promise to collect ONE of the items today and 're-do' it and post back to me. Had no confirmation item was being collected today until 11.23am, and the email stated it will be between 11:22am - 5:00pm so I immediately came home (unpaid day from work now). Only to get an email at 2.11pm to say not coming anymore today, and the reason is 'Your DPD Local driver Jonathan won't be able to collect your parcel today as they cover a wide area on a tight schedule.' Nothing from Lords & Labradors yet with their proposed outcome.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from Lord and Labradors and have received the wrong product - very disappointing for a brand that position themselves within a premium category, they need to sort out what is going on behind the scenes instead of hiding behind the false glossy image they portray!

I’ve had nothing but problems with my orders from this company. Initially I ordered a crate which came within a reasonable amount of time (or so I thought) but I had received the wrong order. Once I informed the L&L team, they sent out my crate and I received it after 2 weeks of ordering it. I then purchased a bed which has just disappeared off the face of the earth. I contacted their team to see whether there were any updates and find out why I still haven’t received anything or heard anything after a full month but I haven’t heard anything at all. I’m very disappointed. These products aren’t cheap and you would expect better customer service when paying these prices. The products are good when actually received, it’s just a shame everything else to do with this company isn’t so good.

Bought a product from Lords and Labradors and was told a shipment was on its way on 14 December 2022. Now all I get are messages saying they can't deliver (and its not Royal Mail its DPD) because of an issue 'that is usually resolved in 24 hours'. Had the same messages on four succeeding days now. Don't shop here on line.

Ordered a dog jumper and it came damaged. Had a lot of hassle trying to return it. Since it’s dog clothes you aren’t sure of the size and returns cost so it’s not really worth it. You can buy direct from the brands cheaper with free delivery and returns a lot of the time. They say they are a small business but they have an app and seem to be quite big, I’d except it off an Etsy seller.

We are deeply disappointed with your service regarding a refund so please see our observations below. Upon submission of the order there was no feedback on delivery timings and to our surprise we were contacted some weeks later to inform the item we have ordered was out of stock. We were offered an alternative which we have accepted. Unfortunately , whilst the item was a XL size it wouldn’t fit our medium sized Labrador puppy so regretfully, we had to return it back. After hundreds of orders online from many retailers / brands , never did we have to pay for shipping the item back so that we could have a refund (it costed us £4.85). In addition, we were equally surprised and strongly displeased with the fact that your refund was not for the full cost of the item – see below (£11.99 instead of 15.98). In summary: we got only 57% of the full amount disbursed in acquiring an item from such a prestigious brand like Lords & Labradors, had a surprisingly poor customer service and now need to find alternative options for our dog In addition after several attempts to have a response back , I was ignored which is a testimonial of a very poor customer service. I won’t recommend the brand to anyone.

Hugely disappointed in the service, DO NOT BUY DOG BIRTHDAY CAKES FROM THIS SHOP. Mine never arrived (despite being ordered a month in advance) and I’m still waiting to be refunded, with no explanation as to why I didn’t receive my item in the first place! Terrible customer service, and very disappointed customer.

Ordered multiple items at the beginning of October. I waited over 2 months for these to be delivered, even though I was told they would be here a week later. I asked for a refund as they hadn’t been delivered, the next day the items were shipped. However, I have yet to receive my refund as asked for.

Appalling service. On 1/11, I ordered two items, one of which had an estimated dispatch date on 4/11, based on the website. I paid for next day delivery. As at 10/11, we’ve received nothing! I’ve emailed twice, with no response. A generic mail shot was sent to us on 7/11, saying they had issues with getting orders out on time. Perhaps if the delays had been made clear at time of order, I wouldn’t have used this website. More than anything, I’m frustrated that payment is taken immediately at time of order and it’s not immediately apparent how to cancel my order: most organisations do not charge until time of dispatch. I will not be ordering from here again and will be discouraging others from using the website, based on our experience.

We bought a grey spotted puppy bed. It has like a lambs wool inner, when it arrived there was a fair amount of loose fluff in this section which we removed. On running my hand over the fluffy inner the fluff came out very easily. A puppy could easily choke on this. We spoke to customer services and sent a video of the fluff coming out, they said it was fluff from another bed in the packing section. It isn’t. As demonstrated in the video, it comes out very easily by stroking my hand over it. We would not leave our puppy on this bed to sleep unattended she could easily choke on this fluff. It is not fit for purpose in our opinion. BEAUTIFUL bed, not fit for a puppy. Eventually they have said we can send it back to be inspected but at our own cost, it’s a heavy bed and for the £15 or so postage we have decided to keep the bed and put blankets in where the cushion went. Packing and other items were luxurious and lovely, however bed is not safe for a puppy. We even offered to FaceTime them to show them fluff just everywhere, we would have happily exchanged for a safer bed.

Over 1 month ago I ordered a dog coat that was delivered in the incorrect colour. When I got in touch with Sales to ask for a replacement they were initially helpful and promised they would send me the correct item. I had sent back the incorrect coat with the label that was provided to me, however, unfortunately I never received the correct dog coat. For the past 2 days I have not received any responses anymore on that matter and the company seems to ignore that I haven’t received the new coat. They claim there was proof of delivery, however, the proof they were showing only refers to the delivery of the incorrect coat that was sent back to the company. Really frustrated about the poor customer experience and that I have paid over 50 pounds for a coat that I still haven’t received.

Still awaiting a refund that was sent almost 3 weeks ago. I have proof of postage and proof that my parcel was signed for and have heard nothing in regards to my refund. I have sent 2 emails and filled in their contact form and I am still awaiting a response. Every time I try and use their online chat service they’re always ‘away’. Not entirely sure what I can do now to get my refund but I will be looking at taking further action.

Oh my goodness,thought we were purchasing a wonderful dog crate. Well upon opening, the latch to open was welded on wrong and completely the wrong way!. My son also cut his arm on the very sharp metal threshold!. Ideal for a puppy ... not!. Phoned and was told I would have a refund, but it was not processed, so I had to chase again!. And also had to chase for them to collect the faulty not fit for purpose crate even though I’d been told it was being collected on a certain day and waited in. Will never use this company again. Very disappointing.

I have had a really bad experience with the customer service of this company which I would not expect from a 'luxury brand'- with the price tag to match. The collar I ordered did not fit my Cavapoo, despite her neck size matching up with the description on the website, and upon exchanging, the smaller collar also did not fit- there is a vast gap between sizes and also between the size description on the website and the real-life product. It is quite ridiculous that there isn't a collar size that fits this very popular dog breed. Despite this obvious flaw in the product, I was not offered a full refund for the matching lead that I had ordered, because it was not in the original packaging. It is outrageous that we are having to cover the cost of re-fixing a tag when it was perfectly reasonable of us to remove the tag for the lead on the assumption that one of your collars would fit a Cavapoo. As a purported luxury brand this situation is unacceptable service, hence this review.
