“Great travel company, everything went smoothly. The only downside was the hotel which was advertised as a 5 star hotel but was not - 4 star at a push. Looks great from the outside, lobby is beautiful, grounds are lush and well maintained. Pool area good, lots of loungers, so we spent a lot of time there. Pool service slow but only two staff on duty, drinks orders didn’t arrive and when we went to the bar to order to take drinks back to loungers ourselves (which we absolutely don’t mind doing!) they would take our order then insist on bringing it over resulting in another long wait, so we couldn’t win really. Staff were very friendly and eager to help but restaurant a bit chaotic in terms of waiters; they were lovely and tried their best but bit disorganised. They also hovered around us when we were eating, eager to take away empty plates which was very off putting. Food was amazing, we never ate the same thing twice. Junior suite very spacious but in need of updating - tired and dusty, chipped tiles in the bathroom, shower was the worst - starts off cold then turns boiling hot in seconds which burnt us both a couple of times, so we turned the temp as low as possible and it stayed cold - ok for us because it was so very hot outside but again another gripe. Balcony was huge and fab for sitting out. Air con was awful and in 42degree heat this was the biggest let down. Lots of power cuts but thats not the fault of the hotel; power is purposely turned off for short periods of time as the grid can’t take the demand in busy hot periods. The beach area is lovely but we never saw the beach bar open once. Wanted to swim in the sea but the seaweed and ‘muck’ along the shoreline was off putting (lots of horse riding along the shoreline too so lord knows what exactly what is mixed in with the seaweed - very unhygienic). The hotel needs investment to get it back to a true 5 star rating. Having said all of that it didn’t distract from our holiday, we had an awesome time 😊”

“From booking to our stay everything was so straight forward and simple. The hotel was amazing and as described and we have all enjoyed our week in Egypt. Love holidays gave us all the transfer details, flight details and hotel details before our travels so everything was stress free. The hotel and staff were incredible and made our whole stay enjoyable, they helped us whenever we needed and were so accommodating our entire trip. The entertainment company at the hotel were all so lovely and got our kids involved in fun activities and always greeted them every morning. We couldn’t be happier with how our stay panned out! Thank you for making our holiday so memorable!”
