we bought a $200 kitchen faucet from the lowe’s on I35. when the plumber came to install it a part was missing. He said it looked like the box had been repackaged. my husband goes back to the store to exchange it. he wanted to check to make sure the part was in there. they said he had to pay for it first and then he could open it. that’s what he did. opened it in front of them and the part was missing. he went to get another one from the shelf and again he was told he couldn’t open it unless he paid for it. Stupid rule!! they had to process an exchange of the item so he could open the next box. Same thing!! part was missing. at this point my husband said forget it. he returned it and told them he was going to Home Depot. he even spoke with a manager and she told him there was nothing she could do. he said so you’re just going to sell a defective product? 3 boxes are missing the same part. she said you can always order it from Delta. Again, Stupid!! We will never go to Lowe’s again. By the way, he couldn’t find anyone around to help him with getting the faucet from the top shelves. he finally had to set off the sensor on one of the boxes and that’s how he got someone to help him. bad experience all the way around.

Purchased a refrigerator from them...mistake..big mistake. Delivery was a nightmare, damaged my countertop bringing it into my kitchen. They claimed they couldn't hook it up because I had the wrong water valve. Had to call a plumber who said everything looked fine and he couldn't understand what their problem was. Had them return and explained what the plumber had said and they went ahead and hooked it up....???? Guess they didn't wanna work the day they first came out....I'm still shaking my head over that one. Anyway after a million phone calls or what seemed like a million and being transferred to each and every person that worked for the company, I had a claim filed for the damage and the inconvenience of multiple attempts at delivery and my out of pocket for a plumber that was never needed. Just heard yesterday by certified mail that my claim had been denied. I will never shop at Lowe's again. They are the most underhanded and horrible company I've ever had to deal with. I hope they know how much money they've lost...I'm in the process of remodeling my childhood home and they won't be seeing me or any of my contractors....their lose. Please be warned folks...please be warned.

I purchased 2 pre-hung doors ($240) from Lowes as part of a $3000 basement refinish order. When it came time to install them a few months after purchasing I found I ordered the wrong size. I contacted Lowes customer service to find out if I would be able to exchange them for the correct size and was informed that they would not exchange them because the purchase was over 90 days old. I explained the doors were still current merchandise listed on their website, that they were in original as purchased condition with all wrapping and papers still attached and was still refused. I asked to speak to the store manager and he told me and I quote, "absolutely not". I explained to him all we wanted to do was exchange the doors for the correct size. I also told him this was part or a large original order and that we spend a lot of money in Lowes including a $2000 stove just last week. He replied "no matter how much I spend it makes no difference". Well it will make a difference now because I will not step foot in a Lowes again! Any company that would alienate a good customer over a simple exchange for current merchandise, regardless of time, does not deserve any ones business. I speak from experience as I was a merchandise manager for both Sears and J. C. Penney Co. for years. It would NEVER have happened there at those companies and any store manager that spoke to a customer like this one did would no longer have a job!

Do not EVER order an special orders from Lowe's. They take your money and then take much, much longer to get the product in. If they say 6 weeks, bet it will be 12 weeks. Use the local guy.

Lowe’s is a reputable company, but Lowe’s Protection Plan is a horrible and unresponsible plan. Their working pattern is to give policyholders hard time, shirk responsibility, or delay the process, deny, refuse or assign an irresponsible company to carry out repairs, ultimately causing the policyholders to give up because they cannot bear the complicated procedures over and over again. I went through the painful experience of filing eight claims in two months to repair my refrigerator. They assigned 4 different companies to repair, I got several denies, refiled claims, and complicated procedures over and over again, the refrigerator still not be fixed up to today. We suffered every day without a refrigerator for almost two months, but we don’t want to give up. Although we don’t want to damage Lowe’s reputation, my attorney and I will file a lawsuit if Lowe’s continue this way.

Lowes credit card! They have raised their interest rate up so high with everyones credit cards. There's only a $1,000 on my card. Was $42 a month in interest I will now have to pay $84. Looks like I am going to have to start shopping some place elsewhere!

When I go to spend my money in a store and I have to check out my own stuff and bag it and pay for it and I don’t get a discount for doing it and staff are standing around talking. Oh yeah all they have is self check out!’!!!!!!!!!!

A few weeks back, I paid my Lowes credit card off and canceled my card. They told me OK and that it was closed and I was due a refund. They sent me my refund. Later they sent me a bill for an amount owed. I called customer service and like any other place, they give you the run around. They said that the check was sent out after the bill was sent out. I told them that I had closed the account earlier. I was told then that I didn't owe anything and that the check was going to be mailed. I got the check before I received the bill even though they said it was mailed out before the check and that the card wasn't closed out. I asked why I was getting a bill on a closed out account. They said that I owed interest on a purchase. If I paid the whole amount owed on the account, why would I have to pay interest. I got a dirty deal and will never charge anything at Lowes again and probably not buy anything else from them. I cut my card up. So, everyone watch out. You could be the next one to get screwed. Goes to show you that you can't trust anyone anymore.

My mom ordered a mahogany door in May. October 16th, the installers came with the wrong size door. On November 21st, an unfinished door was installed. Today December 24th Lowe's says they will not replace the door or pay for it to be finished. Why ask the customer to choose colors in the store and then go through the trouble of getting the HOA approval if you only sell unfinished doors? And to add insult to injury they offered $103 for the delay.

Right after I bought a meshsh side trailer that cost $2,848 ! order# 821531589 on 11-24-24 at Statesboro Georgia Lowes. I bought ,and expected delivery of a washing machine .The washing machine got lost in delivery and I didn't get it for a month, and after many phone calls to a recording. And then finally switched to an associate who most times won't even answer the phone or it just hangs up, and you have to start all over again . So you finally have to make a personal trip to the store so you can actually speak to a person. Then they told me they'd reorder and deliver the washing machine, which I did receive! And said the toolbox would not be delivered till the 28th of December. Today I got message that my toolbox was ready for pickup , and they have no record of delivery order.So now I have to pick it up myself! Unless they tell me it's no longer available after waiting so many days ?And I wouldn't be surprised in the least, after the hell I've been through trying to acquire these two orders! Toolbox order #200177323240330780 and washing machine order #200177323240330734 I am highly disappointed and believe I will drive the extra miles in the future, to find a store that may treat their customers with more respect and professionalism.

Went to Lowe’s today a few days before Christmas. On the store it says open until 10pm. At 8:57pm doors were locked and employees were walking out. Absolutely dumb. Lost my business for 2025 and I’m a contractor.

This is the worst place to get appliances from and do not waste your money on the protection plans they don’t cover nothing spen $200 on my protection plan for my washer and dryer for them to tell me it only covers a $20 heating element they keep giving the run aroun

Lowes should take some accountability on the products they sell. Midea is a product they sell. And this company along with lowes backing it up should be sued. Every single review on midea washer or dryer, the consumer purchased from lowes. Midea dryer that I purchased from lowrsis the worst dryer I've ever purchased in my life. I purchased this dryer June 2022. There's no warranty and now I have no dryer. A dryer lasting only 2 yrs is ridiculous!! I had someone charge me to come out and look at it and the motor is out!!! I advise consumers to never buy midea products and I advise consumers to stay away from lowes as well!! No one has money to purchase faulty products

Lowes Panama City Beach, Florida on Highway 98. Yes, we thought that we were purchasing a new 50 gal hot water heater by A.O. Smith. Instead, we ended up getting a used rusty Hydrojet hot water tank that someone had swapped out inside the box. The black female assistant manager did not even want to hear what had happened. She just assumed that we had put our old hot water heater inside the box to return it for money. We did not go seeking money, we wanted the AO Smith hot water heater that we had paid for. She said that there was no way that AO Smith would ship something used to them. Well, two employees at that Lowes told us that it happens all the time where old and used items are put inside of the new boxes and brought back for a refund. Again, we did not want a refund l; just the new hot water heater we had paid our &540.00 for. So, we ended up having to purchase another hot water heater because the plumber was at our house waiting to put the new one in. Our plumber was mad as heck when he opened the box the first time and saw that old used hot water heater inside. So, I told the sales clerk that I wanted every box opened to look inside before we purchased the next hot water heater. She said no, but I told her that since they did not believe us, we sure as heck did not trust them with what is inside any box from now on. So, she opened the box for us. We could have easily taped the box back up and returned the old Hydrojet hot water heater that was inside of the box. But no, we were being honest and that got us nowhere. Now, does Lowes open and check all returned appliance boxes to make sure that the correct item is inside before accepting the product back into the store? No, but they should! We tell everyone that we know-DO NOT SHOP at LOWES. GO TO HOME DEPOT INSTEAD. WE DO! LOWES DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS! When we contacted Lowes in Panama City Beach after trying to reason with that female manager, we never heard back. We were given so many numbers to call. We called and left messages. Just got the run around. We ended up paying over 1,000.00 for one AO Smith hot water heater valued at $540.00. Crazy right! I tried to upload a photo of the used Hydrojet hot water heater but it would not upload.

Had this card over a year because of new carpet put in the house. Paid a fixed account every single month and never missed a payment. Just paid $4800 off after selling my house and they close my card as soon as the payment clears because my credit isn't good enough now. Never shopping at Lowe's again.

Warranty SCAM!! SCAM BY LOWES EXTENDED WARRANTY be aware they tell you if you don’t use it you will get parts of your money back all SCAM MAKE SURE GET THAT IN RIDING OTHER WISE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY SCAM !!!

Lowe’s on Woodrow Bean in El Paso, TX. I was trying to perchase something online and my account was blocked, so I called and spoke with representative at Lowe’s and asked if I could order over the phone. I gave her my Credit Card info and she replied with my credit card was declined, I asked if she could run it one more time to make sure she didn’t input the number wrong. She replied with “ I can only run it once” we have the item you are looking for in stock” I asked if they could hold it, she said no. I drove all the way over to purchase it and she said they were holding for customers. I am disappointed in the service from Lowe’s.
