“Having advanced booking for the Short Term Luton Airport was a good deal. Hoverer, on return Mon 2 Feb and using ticket to exit, the machine said £108 was overdue. On asking attendant to assist was told to press 'Assistant' button. Awaiting 10 minutes and blocking an exit gate no answer. Checked with attendant and told someone else was speaking to assistance, awaited a further 10 minutes and had helpful reply and gate opened. Really didn't need this after a very busy weekend. Thought camera check would also have validated legitimacy of contract.”

“In short stay , no advice on where spaces are, aisles are narrow and dead ends meaning you have to do a 3 point turn in small space. The tarmac surface is very poor and potholed, generally not very good for the money charged, needs to be improved”

“Poor parking surfaces resulting in considerable soil to shoes and therefore car. Price fine but several areas roped off so parking quickly to catch the bus was impossible. It is also about time that covered walkways were provided to the main car park. As a chauffeur, it is ridiculously uncomfortable for clients to have to walk in rain or snow across the car park to the badly organised car park. thank You”

“Better than i expected, to be honest. I found the (long term) car park fairly easily (some roadworks mean you have to keep your eyes peeled for signs). There was plenty of space. The bus came quickly, it only took a few minutes to get to the terminal and the bus stop is nice and close to the terminal buildings. The barrier cameras recognised my car numberplate straight away so getting in and out was fuss free, and here are lots of signs so its easy to remember where you parked (as long as you make a note of them!) Now if only they could make the check-in and security process as quick.”

“Poor service recieved; rude staff, door handle pulled off of the car and Luton will not take responsibility for it! It's safe to say, I would NOT recommend this service.”

“Like any airport parking it is not cheap - what is particularly galling though is having paid so much money you end up parking in a car park full of potholes - that is unacceptable. The process of using the car park is good though”

“We have used the long stay car park at Luton twice each year for quite a long time now and find it easy to book,it's easy to find and to park, you do not have to wait to long for transport to take you to the airport. We have only had to wait once for another bus to come because the first one was full but overall quite happy to continue to park with Luton airport.”

“the service is generally very good, but on the last three occasions when i have booked online, when i arrive at the car park and take the ticket, it has not recognized my number plate and therefore when i exit, it asks for extra money and i have to ring the buzzer to get let out. The person is always very helpful but i shouldnt need to do this? i thought that when i approached the barrier, it would recognise my number plate, issue the right ticket and i would therefore be able to just drive out at the end. small thing but would make a massive difference to the experience. thanks”

“Everything was fine - would prefer an easier pedestrian route to the terminal however (it is really an easily walkable distance, but there is a lack of footpath and road crossing directly next to the carpark).”

“Short term car park for 4 nights. Very good location to airport, relatively easy to find. Pre booked cost was ok, if I'd have paid on arrival then the cost would have been an absolute disgrace, £180!!! Machine didn't recognise my pre book so showed me full cost, wonder how many actually pay it. Condition of car park is just wasteland really, no lines, lots of potholes. Just about scraped normal rating.”

“Parking was easy and close to the terminal but as I had prebooked I was slightly phased when I entered the car park, as I expected the the barrier to automatically recognise my number plate and let me in. I took a ticket however and decided to worry about what would happen when I returned the same day from my trip and drove my car out of the car park. At the point of leaving I put my ticket that I had taken when I arrived into the machine but it still didn't know that I had already paid and asked me for payment - at the full rate - not the prebooked rate. The situation was resolved however when I pressed the help button and gave my car park booking code to the operator who then let me through.”

“I use the short term car park as when booked in advance it is quite reasonable and I can walk straight into the airport. Very convenient and saves time. The quality of the park surface is really bad, pot holes, feels grubby and often dirty in bad weather.”
