“After two C-sections and lifelong fast food, I started off with clean eating and aimless training (mostly cardio) in 2012. In the years following, I got certified to teach HIIT class and THOUGHT I was training well. I saw some progress, but nothing transformative and nothing resembling my true goals. I started my macros journey in 2021 doing nutrition only with Coach Heather. I noticed fabulous weight loss success throughout this time while still training on my own. A year later, I started with Coach Braden doing complete coaching with a structured weight lifting plan, progressive overload, and nutrition plan. I’ve noticed better results in the past 12 months with Braden than I have in the past 10 years. Braden focuses on my specific goals, alters my macros as needed, corrects form in my training, and provides insight on the “how” and “why” of each step. I am 45 years old and a mother of two, so I am BUSY. Setting aside less than two hours of my day to accomplish my goals is certainly doable and a choice I wanted to make. Braden is currently walking me through a 16 month building phase that will end January 1st. It was my biggest fear, but my largest goal to accomplish, and I’m doing it. I am 2.5 years in with MI, and not going anywhere!!”
“Coach Steve was very helpful with all my questions. He supported me throughout the whole process. Making the process really easy to follow and hit my goals.”
“Ally has been a great motivator for me. I love the accountability and great advice she’s given me. I started this during summer which is typically not the easiest time to lose weight and she has been there every step of the way! I always thought Macros would be hard and now I’m kicking myself for not doing it 10yrs ago!! Ally is the best!!”
“I signed up to lose weight thinking that I’d be able to see the scale move quickly, kind of like I’ve done in the past. Obviously that has put me in a yo-yo cycle and not solved my problem. Viktorija has showed me that what I need is a tremendous amount of patience and reassurance. Sometimes the scale is a liar and side by side pictures are what is needed. Although I’ve ‘only’ lost about 16 pounds looking at my pictures there is a shocking change. I have been working on changing habits and getting stronger, which is the best approach because I am certain I can maintain the body I am building.”
“My coach Sara is AWESOME! I’m afraid to lose her someday. Sara checks on me just enough to be helpful without being a bother. Sara keeps me motivated to reach my goals!”
“Having a coach at Macros Inc was the best decision for my goals, I was trying and learning by myself but I noticed I didn’t get the results I was looking for. My coach is amazing, she supports me and guide me when I have questions and doubts, she is there to help me reach my goals. I have done amazing for the past 8 months, the app is better than any other to track macros, it may take some practice to get use to it but it works. The client has to put all the efforts to make it happen, coaches are there to guide you and help you to learn what you need to do when you finally decided to go on your own. I’m planning in renewing with complete coaching (nutrition and training) because I want to build some muscle and I know it works!
If you are in doubt, go for it, in my opinion it has been money well spent.”
“Steve was a great fit! Patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He provided me with the tools I needed to be successful and I will forever be grateful!”
“Best decision I ever made for myself was getting a Macros Inc. Coach. I am a completely different person and I am now who I have always wanted to be. The support, knowledge, empathy, and challenges that I received from my coach molded me into the healthy and strong woman I am two years later. I have a healthy relationship with not only food but fitness, and honestly all of the dimensions of wellness. I am no longer striving to be the person I've always wanted to be; because I AM that person. I could NOT have made it this far without my coach - my backbone to it all.”
“When I signed up for coaching, I was in an "okay" place. I had been maintaining my weight for about four months, but I knew I could get more out of this phase of my nutritional journey: more food, more enjoyment, more EVERYTHING.
So I signed up for complete coaching in the Black Friday Sale in November 2020. I added fitness at the very last minute, even though I felt the nutrition was more important to "finding" my true "maintenance range."
I am so glad I did.
The nutritional part of coaching became the sideline, and the focus rested with the fitness aspect. While I have my NASM-CPT, FNS, CES, having Braden help me break through my fitness plateaus and really find my strength - and GROW my strength - and that has been pivotal in this phase.
I am eating 200 more calories now than when I started Maintenance, and I am maintaining at a slightly lower weight. I am close to squatting my body weight, which - as someone who NEVER had been a BB junkie - is huge for me. Body recomp IS happening, and I know for a FACT it wouldn't be happening if I hadn't had Braden in my corner. I told Braden I needed a "buddy," and he has been more than that. He pushes but encourages, he listens and cheers, he doles out the tough love when it is necessary.
I extended my contract before I even hit three months (I had originally signed up for six months) to a full year, and I know I will be "re-enlisting" before my year has finished....I still have goals!”
“It has been a year since I decided to give macros a try. I had been working out and eating pretty healthy but just plateauing. I met with Braden, my coach for the first time and he was so confident that I was going to lose fat and get ripped. His confidence made me curious, can this actually happen for me?
Wow. One year later and I’m not stopping. Macros will be in my life for years to come. I have hit goals I never thought I would achieve. I have bought a cage ! And lifting heavy! What ?! And loving my workouts. And love my relationship with food.
But the absolute best thing that this has taught me is I am making long term goals for my health. This new journey is in my blood now and I am in this for the long term benefits, no more quick wins.
And I have a new level of confidence. Yes, the confidence of walking around in a swimsuit and killing it…but also the calmness, the happiness, all of that, that equals confidence.
Thank you, Braden for helping me build this foundation of health that will last a lifetime.”
“My coaching experience was very positive, despite my own lack of commitment to the process. My coach, Colin, is a wonderful coach who didn’t give up on me, even after I gave up on myself. He provided sound advice about nutrition and health, which I can incorporate into my everyday life going forward. Colin made himself very accessible and I felt very comfortable reaching out with a concern or question.
I would definitely consider signing up again when the time is right for me.”
“My coach Steven helped me through my journey and got me close to my goal weight . He taught me how to count Marcos and gave me tips to reach my goal weight. I would definitely recommend macros inc for anyone starting out with macros .”
“Finding Jenny was the best thing that could have happened to me. She really is my rock, not only giving me nutrition advice but helping guide me through some very difficult situations in my life. She's been there for me emotionally as well as educational. Pictures are of me just after I finished 6months of chemo to present just over 3 months of hard work. I was with jenny last year for three months. I had to have a break to have an operation and some treatment. As soon as my treatment ended I signed back up. She's been with me every step of the way. ❤️”
“My coaching experience has been hands-down, the best decision I’ve made!! My sister originally suggested I try this program, and I am so incredibly grateful for her to have recommended it. I have always had fluctuating weight, and finally looked at myself in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw. I started this program December 31, 2022 at 213lbs, and am now 171lbs. Danielle, my coach, has been absolutely integral to this plan and has shown me a lot about my eating habits and my triggers, and how to accept that every day will not be perfect but if you continue on and try the next day, and keep going, you will see results with time. She has given me a healthier outlook on food and eating habits, as I am usually a stress eater. The chat function on the macros app is super convenient as well! When I’m feeling low about something, or when I’m feeling really great about some thing - sharing that with Danielle has been a great experience and I can’t say enough amazing things about her and this program!”
“After struggling with weight during COVID, I also received a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The steroids and treatment led to more weight gain, and after a year of chemo treatments and 3 surgeries, I knew I needed to work at getting my health back on track, including weight loss. Cheryl provided exactly what was needed as I slowly built the steps needed to not only lose weight, but regain strength, balance, and self-confidence. When I was hard on myself, Cheryl offered grace, mixed with a perfect dose of real talk. She provided not only facts about weight loss but also helped me visualize a new reality of a more active lifestyle and hope. Not only have I lost 30 pounds, I have maintained that loss through a very stressful year, using all the tools Cheryl shared with me. When I began, I couldn't complete one squat. Due to abdominal surgeries, I didn't have the balance to do many of the basic movement training required. Cheryl provided alternatives as needed until I was able to do more. She also provided a sounding board, which allowed me to embrace some mind shifts for a more healthy approach to eating, training, and life in general. I am leaving coaching for now, knowing that I have the tools I need to continue to maintain my health, while still being plugged into the Macros community online. I can't say enough about the positive community, and the professionalism of Cheryl as a coach (and friend!)”
