Cheltenham Store - first visit with self service tills and only one staff member to take cash or refunds. I had order x2 pairs of trousers online and although supposedly the same side one pair was shorter. Did not want to risk returning via post or courier having read reviews of problems so drove to Cheltenham. Walked on autopilot to the Customer Service Department to discover it no longer existed - and having dealt with the woman at the refund desk I realised that customer service is no longer important to M&S. She didn't want to know why trousers were being returned and infact she might have been a robot for all I know - no smiles or interaction. Not a good experience. I did then buy a few items in store and found the self service tills ok but M&S have made a massive mistake - if you are buying an item of clothing you expect it to be folded and bagged (even if it is your own bag). When at a self service till with more than one item you are scanning and then feel you have to just shove it into your bag as other people are waiting - not surprised that M&S are losing custom

Placing my order was a nightmare ! Repeating over and over again several times its exhausting !!!!! Indian people cannot understand the scotish accent .it was awful to repeat all the time.plz re think this M &S it was over 50 pounds worth so not cheap. Mrs Burns.

Why do Marks and Spencers only do padded bras in post surgery. What about the range you used to do about 2-3 years ago, cotton bras not padded or underwired. I had been buying the same style of post surgery bras from M & S for the last 9 years which again sometimes, probably because they were popular would be out of stock. Why have you changed your styles. Surely I am not the only one to complain and have asked the same question. Please have another think about this.

The way marks Spencers flagship store manager says my role here is to protect the good name of the store and my staff they should use her to do there XMAS 🎅🏿 ADD along with the commercial manager next to her saying HR will just pay lip service with the customer we just don’t value are customer’s and yes they still work there when managers from Tesco Sainsburys Co/Op Aldi Morrisons BP Marks and Spencers there words are you would out of the door for saying that to a customer and asked to apologise so it’s comes as no surprise there closing more stores and that is very sad because the food they sale is lovely unlike the management team in Torquay

So, I’ve just ordered a duvet, pillows and pillow protectors. All showed available and in stock. They were for friends staying in the guest room. 2 days later I get an email to say 2 items are now not available and have been cancelled, 2 items are on the way and the duvet has been delayed - until when, nobody knows. The irony is, the pillow protectors are available but the pillows are not?! This is worse than useless. I don’t want any of the order now, thanks. You really couldn’t organise a p!ss up in a brewery. I’m off to a retailer that can actually provide my goods and in a timely manner. Won’t be surprised when M&S close their doors for good.

have to say i read the reviews posted but none have i found so upsetting and disturbing as the one about that section manager that used her uniform and company to send the police to a customers home and make allegations against him which were all false and after talking to some of the in store they said to me it was all in her head and she is a attention seeker and will stop at nothing get the staff and people to feel sorry for her and this innocent gentleman paid the price for something that had nothing to do with him i don't think i would ever forgive myself for doing what she did she not only affected his life but also divided the staff in the store but i am sure she will enjoy her xmas dinner i don't think we could say the same for that poor gentleman it never pays to LIE you have to live with it

Very disappointed with what I thought was a professional store.We ordered and paid for furniture which was to be delivered in January 2023.After changing our minds a few days later about the material, I phoned customer service who told me I would have to cancel and re order.We got a 10% discount on the initial order but if we where to cancel we wouldn't get the discount. Why cant you just change the material and if need be pay for any difference .The discount should have been carried over and honoured. We will now be looking elsewhere and Marks and spencer's have lost out on my custom.

Went to M&S Uxbridge with my mum who is in a wheelchair and decided to buy a bra, asked a very nice lady Parveen for a fitting without an appointment and she kindly did so saying that she could do so there and then and I am sure she fit me in for a fitting out of kindness, she was incredible. Parveen explained what I should be looking for how my bra should fit and nothing appeared to be to much. Thank you so much for your time, patience, positive energy and kindness to my mum . Amazing lady.

I have to say I ❤️ Marks Spencers but after reading what Claire the general manager did to that innocent shopper the store is the talk of Torquay and that’s in a bad way and her name is mud she should resign from her position she personally victimise this gentleman

I have to say I have shopped in the Torquay food hall for some time now and found most of the staff there lovely that was until I had the horrible experience of meeting this supervisor Nikki she was at the customer service desk and I said can I buy a gift card from here or do I go to the tills she just looked at me and pointed her finger and said there I thought you rude ? and picked a card and said can I put £15 on it please and gave her a £20 note she snatched it out of my hand and just slid the change and card towards me and didn’t say a word no please no thank you I was shaking with anger she is absolutely horrible and disgusting 🤢 but when I read what she and her girlfriend did to that poor man it’s even more idisgusting they say what goes round ? I still shop there but wouldn’t give her the time of day even her own team say it was horrible what she did and that she thinks it’s funny she even said he got what he deserved poor man 👨

i took something back to Marks and Spencers Household Department in Torquay and had dealings with Nikki's Mum Jill and unfortunately its a case of Mother like Daughter her mum treated me like i had asked to pay with my unemployment Giro she was HORRIBLE to me for no reason what so ever i said to a member staff who is the poison Dwarf upstairs she said her name is Jill she is the one who puts the uniform on and becomes the three bob millionaire i couldn't stop laughing all the way home i did complain like every on this site has and got nowhere in fact every time i went in and unfortunately saw Jill she made me feel sick and very uncomfortable there's a saying at work be nice to the people on the way up because you will meet them on the way down for me they are two Nasty bits of work that have lost TORQUAY Marks and Spencers a lot of customers

I Would rate this review nil star rating if it was possible. But just like their online returns procedure which is also impossible when returning items as a guest. Stop harping on about how good you are with your paperless systems and online shopping to save the planet, when you are closing stores and we have to travel extra miles to return online goods to store because your online returns system is so bad it doesn't work.

Have to say regards Torquay food hall reviews its so lovely to read that other customers have had issues with this Nikki section so called manager she was so rude to me when this lovely member staff referred me to her she was so horrible to me i had to put my shopping basket down on the floor and just walk out of the store i was going to complain but after reading what she did to Dale i am so glad i didn't but the next time i want in the store i put my phone on record because i thought if she spoke to me again like she did i am sure head office would have had something to say about it i have her recored on my phone walking out of the warehouse towards me with her arms folded what stance is that saying to a customer staff there said just ignore her she has worked there for 30yrs and is untuchable i now stopped shopping there two

Two orders placed on 12/10/2022 and 14/10/2022 show confirmed in Status. But, on repeated calls and mails.. do not say why the order has not been dispatched or cancelled. The money was paid through my credit card. Very disappointed.

Wanted to by a make up kit for a present at The Wakefield Branch in The Ridings, but there was no price on it. Took one to the tills, but there was a masive queue. Asked an assistant how much they were, and they snatched it off me and marched back to the shelf, where there was no prices! She said " you will have to go to the checkout and have it scanned" I said there was a massive queue, to which she shrugged her shoulders, gave me it back and walked off! Sorry, but wont be calling in here again, and when it shuts down, the staff will wonder why!

i have to say i have shopped at most of the Marks+Spences all over country and they are great stores that sale great food and lovely staff and managers but then you read what Thomas / Harris /Moxhay did to the perfectly innocent shopper and the way Thomas the General manager spoke to him outside then Harris has the nerve to say Marks and Spencers just pay lip service with the customer its all very disgusting and arrogant and then Moxhay sending the police to his home with a load of made up lies HR should have made these managers resign from there positions what they did is all over the southwest and they should hang there heads in shame mind you if you bring a customer to tears that says everything we need to no about you so when you sit down to eat your Christmas dinner with your family just stop and think what you did to that poor innocent shopper it is so sad to even read it Dale will have to put the cracker in the door and close it to pull it this year
