I bought my niece a butterfly birthday cake for her 50th birthday and to say it was beautiful is an understatement!! Very reasonably priced too considering how it looked. Thank so much.

M&S "Made Without Wheat" Blueberry Muffins were sold in packs of 2 and were delicious. I can eat wheat but bought these light tasty muffins regularly as they were so good. Now they have been replaced with a pack of 4 smaller blueberry muffins, bought them yesterday, they are dry and tasteless, won't buy again. How disappointing. Why does M&S do this so frequently, change a perfectly good product for an inferior one.

new vegetarian food - could be excellent but so strong with garlic that I couldn't eat it - tried 2 of the new dishes - mushroom stroganoff with cauliflower rice and Thai veggie curry - could not taste anything except garlic. What a shame - they look so good.

We use our Marks and Spencer store in Truro all the time. The staff are always very polite and helpful. They are generally extremely good value for the quality of the product. For bedding, lingerie, school uniforms I won't go anywhere else. The added bonus with Marks is the Sparks card which gives added discounts on items as well as donating to your chosen charity so you can do some good whilst you shop.

Staff at click and collect will no longer allow customers to pay at their till. As I walked through the store to collect my order I noticed a couple of items I liked and took them with me to click and collect till. I waited to pick up my order, asked if I could pay there (no-one waiting behind me) and was told to go to the main till to join the queue, very poor customer service.

I have received one 3 seaters and one 2 seaters of Berkeley sofas today. I must said, M&S has an excellent delivery team, I have bought furniture from many other popular shops and some of them are very good but must say M&S delivery experts are outstanding, very polite, friendly, well handling of all the furnitures , and tidy everything before the leave your home. Must give a thumb up to all these people. Anyway, The reason I write about this sofas is because they are not as bad as other customers’ review. I have tried them in the shop and they met my requirements, reasonable price, good support; may be required cushion for extra comfort. I took the advice from the Salesman of the durable material, and they look great my living room. The cushions do puckered a bit, but this is normal as they are well packed and need to “rest” for few days before the shapes are back to normal, so we have to be a bit patient to these foam sofa, just like roll up memory foam Mattresses. They do smell a little bit, as I said, they are new, the foam need to air out for a certain time. Again we have to wait for a while before we get use to them. Don’t be put off by one or two reviews, give yourself a chance to try them out. Give a chance to M&S, it has established in UK and worldwide for many years, and there are many shops closed down on the high street, we certainly don’t want this to happen to M&S as it grows up with us in many generations. * I am not M&S staff or related to this shop , but just to express my comments in regards to all those negative reviews.

My mother in law who is 84 years old with Dementia was somehow issued a credit note by M&S for £173. The family had no idea about this until we found it in a bag with Christmas cards we planned to help her write. My MIL can't remember either as her Dementia has deteriorated. The credit note was days out of date. I contacted M&S and was asked to write & enclose a photocopy of the credit note. Despite writing twice & explaining my Mother In Laws Dementia & the fact it was only days out of date, I got the same reply........ NO, CANNOT BE USED. Absolutely heartless. They would allow a loyal, elderly customer/pensioner with a severe illness loose all this money while they had already taken the goods back & probably resold them.

First, my click and collect order did not show up. I was told it was there but it wasn't, then it was there again and wasn't and on it went! The event I wanted the clothing for came and went but they had my money of course. I complained and received a lengthy apology, blaming all sorts of things and offering me a refund (to late to buy something for my event) and a nice e gift card for my trouble. Guess what, despite 3 weeks and numerous reminders from me, I never received the e gift card. They are disorganised and deteriorating at a fast pace. My grievance has been passed from person to person in their executive office, which seems clueless.

Absolutely appalling company to deal with, ordered a wardrobe, set of drawers and a set of side bed tables. Paid for in full and arranged a certain delivery day, 2 weeks gone date of delivery surprise surprise is postponed... Absolutely disgusting service & treatment with everyone I speak with. On your website you claim 1 week despach, when the customer pays you, you then move the goal post and say there is a delay. Bunch of liars . And you think by just saying Sorry you ll get away with it!!! I will never ever recommend or use this company again. Marks and Spencer your furniture department is rubbish!!!

Hayle store Perfume department disappointing no prices staff standing around doing little. Ladies clothing department looks like a big jumble sale unappealing Cafe very good but more staff needed. Food department good but needs expanding over all a very big store with too much poor quality clothing and a very small home section

M&S Middlesbrough branch left me disappointed with the member of staff at the till, I asked her what the procedure was with my Hillstreet carpark token and was met with a vacant response when I showed her my red plastic disc, I might as well have shown her a Bulgarian lev, she said she had no idea and made no effort to ask her colleages, not good, that's taught me a lesson, no more shopping in that store!

Christmas order presentation was disgusting pre ordered food. Every item of food packaging was soaking wet luxury panna cota if you didn't hold the item at the base it would have fallen through. Tomato salad unavailable no apology certainly will not order Christmas by MS.

Telephoning my local store or indeed any store is a nightmare! What on earth has happened if you eventually get put through to someone they can barely understand you and the woman I spoke refused to put me through! Absolutely disgraceful
