“I used clippers for my two mini poodles as it was expensive visit to groom room. I had little problem with it and it was fixed within 4 days. Very happy with response.”

“5 stars are for after sales service which was very good. My clippers broke after only 4 clips. Brand new the cogs shed and couldn’t even undo the screws to remove the head, sent off to Master clip and the Service was excellent. 3 Stars are for the clippers, disappointing, still get hot and broke after 4 clips, the good thing is the battery life is excellent.”

The cog only shears if the clippers are under some sort of pressure at the top end and so it is always best to loosen the tension slightly and keep them well lubricated including adding a drop of oil into the oiling points. It is a consumable part and designed to shear if the clipper detects a foreign body or some grit or debris in the coat which does sometimes does also happen. “Overall very impressed with these clippers. Received on Thursday and have clipped my shedding easy-clip cockapoo, and have clipped my bone-shed fleece fur cockapoo who was way overdue a clip. The lowest grade got right under any batting that brushing couldn’t get to. My one concern is how hot the clippers have gotten. A little irritating having to clip them in very short bursts as they were not happy with the heat on them.”

As with all clippers they work best if they are well lubricated with clipper oil or spray every 3-5 mins whilst in use. Doing this generally dissipates any heat caused by blade friction. The Andis 5 in 1 coolant spray is brilliant for this. “I was very impressed with these clippers after using a corded pair for the last 3 years, i have a cockapoo and they went through his coat easily, I usually find after I have groomed my dog I find I may have missed a bit while grooming his coat that I have to tidy it up the next day and it is now so easy just to use these clippers anytime anywhere with them being cordless. I would highly recommend buying these clippers you will not be disappointed. Thank you Masterclip for making my life easier and cheaper in the long run grooming my dog.”

“Ordered a #5f and received a #7f which wouldn't fit on my A5 clippers. I emailed for help as I wouldn't have minded this mistake had the blade worked but received none. I have had functional blades from masterclip before though”

It is disappointing to hear that you received the wrong blade and that the blade you did receive didn't fit your clippers. I can see that a replacement blade has been posted so we must have made contact. I will get in touch with you directly so that we can resolve the issue.
