“Furniture was ok, one of the drill holes in one chair has not been drilled properly so I can't get the bolt in, will have to do this myself.
Ordered 6 chairs, paid for one hour delivery slot. Got one email on morning of delivery with a slot, then another half an hour later. Rang Matalan Direct, to discover that 2 chairs were coming at 12pm the remaining 4 at 3pm. From the same warehouse, by the same courier!”
“I ordered a set of shelving units and not all were in stock so I chose to wait for delivery of all three items together.
The due delivery date was extended from end of July to end of August and I eventually received the goods at the start of September. Unfortunately, one of the packages contained the incorrect coloured item despite having the correct colour listed on the front.
Despite all these inconveniences I have to give full marks to the customer service staff who were always polite, helpful and keen to sort out the problems. Well done guys!

Although we are aware that Scotland is not ordinarily classed as a remote area we are bound by the cost attributed to your area by our current logistics infrastructure .
We review our logistics operation on week to week basis and I'm sure it wont be long before we are able to offer much more competitive rates for all of our delivery methods in all parts of the UK.

“Nantucket bedroom furniture is worth every penny! Looks fabulous and very solid. Put together over a weekend. One slight piece of damage on drawer but as this was towards the back it is not visible. Would definitely buy from Catalan again.”

“Ordering was very straight forward, the site was easy to navigate. I was kept informed by email when my items were dispatched. The delivery driver contacted me by phone before his arrival in order to clarify my delivery instructions. He was very professional and courteous. Overall I would be very happy to use this service again.”
