“I got a parking ticket for £155 because matalan didn't have any toilet facilities, I had to take my 5 year old to the toilet at Tesco's shopping centre which took me 20 mins over the parking time limit. I appealed but they were not interested. An expensive shopping experience in which I won't bother again.”

The one thing that would deter me from ordering online again is that I had to delay delivery as items are only delivered in my area on a Monday?!..... I couldn't get the items delivered for two weeks as I was unable to be home for the delivery guys. I don't work Monday to Friday and this meant I also had to delay going on a planned holiday for 24hrs as I was informed items are only held for 3weeks Max. Hm...not great. This would put me off ordering from matalan again. The items weren't available for click and collect either.”
“I love my new bedroom set and the price is absolutely amazing. The quality of the products in comparison to what you pay for them is good unfortunately that's where the positive's end, it took over three weeks to be delivered to me and the customer service from the couriers was absolutely rubbish. I ended up dealing with the customer service at Matalan and they were fab . I would love to order from Matalan again as they have got some great products, however until they use a different courier rather than Final Mile, I unfortunately will not be placing an order.”

“I ordered the Elizabeth floor lamp. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I realised that the cord was broken in two. I got in touch with customer service and they promptly sent me another one, free of charge. Very pleased with the service I received from my customer service rep, Danan.
The lamp is also good quality too. Nice antique brass finish. Much sturdier than my previous IKEA one and love the convenient foot switch. Would definitely place another order for homewares in the future.”
