“Very disappointed to still not have the records I ordered”

“After ordering 2 records that were on back order, I cancelled it after 5 months of waiting to receive store credit. Placed an order for "in stock" records. Never received them, asked customer service to cancel my order and refund. Never received refund. Terrible customer service, Merch bar is a scam. Beware!”

“THE WORST. The worst customer service ever. I’m surprised they haven’t been taken to court. Haven't refunded me after the record was never going to arrive. DO NOT order from this company.”

“Terrible service. Ordered something around the hollidays, and did not receive it for weeks. Followed up in early January and was told they were having issues with the production company, but would ship it as soon as it was available. and had no estimate of when that would be I asked how they charged my credit card when they knew it was out of stock. Got a snotty answer that a company can do that, but they did not seem to connect the fact that that is fraudulent; and they never followed up with offering refund, alternative etc. So tracked down the owner on Linked iin and wrote to him, just now, see if he responds. And all their customer service is by email, but I tracked down a phone number. All they do is take messages and say you will get an email response in 102 business days.”

“I ordered a record on Feb 2nd and still hadn't received it on February 28. I had to message to find out why I hadn't shipped. I found out that they didn't even have the record in the first place.”

“They are the worst. 40 days after ordering they feed the same stories as everyone else has been getting "Unfortunately, there's an unforeseen circumstance that caused the delay" "We've encountered some processing issues, and we currently don't have an estimated ship date." Both items I ordered were supposedly in stock. Asked to cancel 48 hours ago and no confirmation of cancellation yet. Stay away. There is someone more reputable to buy from”

“Very much like a lot of the other reviews of this company, I made a purchase over a month ago and they still have not even processed the order - even though they have charged me. I reached out and asked about the status of the order and just get a "we're receiving a lot of requests" response. I've now requested a cancellation of the order as this is not a serious company. Will not be buying from them again.”

“I ordered an album and paid for it. Thirty days later and the order still shows processing with now progress made. Have canceled my order and requested a refund. Seems this company has a known track record I wish I had been aware of.”

“Pre-ordered a vinyl for Merchbar because the artist's website led me to their store. The order processed, charged me, but never shipped once the album was released 1 month later. I contacted support and was told my order had a processing error and did not go through. I was still charged for the item and was never told this. They re-placed my order on the spot, yet, over 2 weeks later, my new order is still being "processed." I requested a refund for the transaction that went through 4 months ago, but I don’t know if they will actually process the refund. I'm definitely not ordering through Merchbar again.”

“If I could leave 0 stars I would. Company is a scam with zero integrity. They charged me for 2 Vinyls and never received them, and had to battle for 6 months to get a refund. I never leave reviews, but felt I should so I could save anyone from going through this headache.”

“This company is hands down the worse I have ever dealt with when it comes to vinyl. I ordered two records at the same time as I did three records from Japan. The group from Japan had my records at my front door in 17 days from start to finish. I waited two months for the records from Merchbar and finally asked for a refund. I do not know anyone that has ever completed an order with Merchbar. STAY AWAY, FAKE SALES .”

“Stay away from these scammers. Have contacted their customer service and put up with a smug woman who repeats herself no matter the question. The where abouts of two albums ordered two months ago has to be handled by another department. They will contact you, never happened! STYAY AWAY.”

“This company is a joke! Selling merchandise they claim is in-stock and takes months to ship. They exploit social media algorithims to spam your feeds and unless you do some research on their reviews you honestly would be unaware how poorly they operate. Their backorder of out of production vinyls is so unethical. They fraudulent mislead the consumer into thinking an out of production vinyl is only on back order and you can pay for it and once it's back in stock you'll receive it. It's so unethical as Merchbar has no knowledge if the vinyl will EVER be available again. Of course at some point the consumer can then jump through hoops and over hurdles and cancel the order for a "back ordered" vinyl that was never going to exist. I had faster turn around times buying vinyls on ebay. Stay away from this company!”

“Ordered an item on preorder. After it became clear they had no intention of sending item. I attempted to request a refund from them and was told a ticket would be submitted. When I tried to follow up I was told they couldn't check status of tickets but offered to submit another. This went on for weeks but when I would ask to speak with someone in charge, I was told I couldn't speak to anyone else. In the end I had to request the refund from PayPal. Don't order from Merchbar. They are scammers.”
