“I don’t know the quality of the mini yet since it still hasn’t been delivered. It was due in on the 5th and now it’s the 10th and I still don’t see it. One mini could have easily been sent anywhere in the continental US in the amount of time it has been since I placed my order. It’s a little ridiculous.”
“Well, I've never received my order, and my emails have gone unnoticed - there has been no response. I have a tracking number with no updates - like it's not even been picked up, but I can't say for sure.
I'm seriously bummed out about it, I was looking forward to it. Very disappointed.”
“Product was as expected and I am happy with what I received. However it took nearly a month to ship and my inquiries regarding when I could expect my order went unanswered for days; I did not receive a response until the order had shipped.”
“The product is great, but this review is for Miniature Market's packaging process which was horrible. I ordered 40 packs of 100 matte sleeves as a single order. The sleeves were the only product in the shipping box. The shipping box arrived opened, the top was completely loose and the tape had come off completely. I have no idea if someone went through it prior or if this happened during shipping. Either way, it does not take much to add an additional layer of tape. 1 stip is never enough, even for light small packages. I myself as a seller, never use just one strip of tape. The fact that Miniature Market is a fairly large company means they have enough money to add an extra layer so this issue doesn't happen again. I've ordered from Miniature Market in the past and this has never been an issue, so I hope whomever is new in the shipping department gets this review and improves their process. At this point I won't order from Miniature Market unless I have too. Will use CoolStuffInc as they have never had an issue with shipping for the decade I've bought from them.”
“I ordered this game over a month ago and it still has not shipped! No one will reply to my e-mail after spending thousands of dollars with this company!!!!! I now use Game Nerdz for board games!”
“I placed my order for the playmat in July, after a month I messaged to see when my order would arrive and I was told that they were moving things from their warehouse and that I would receive the mat as soon as possible. Another month went by and I contacted them again and was told that the mat would arrive the following week, then I received an email telling me the mat was now out of stock so I wouldn’t be receiving it. Needless to say, I wasn’t very happy.”
“Took 10 days to box and ship 3 small bottles of the exact same color paint. Sent an email questioning the delay on the 9th day, after attempting patience. I never heard anything back until a couple days later, after it had finally shipped.
When the box finally arrived, it was massive compared to the 3 small bottles. Makes one wonder if shipping costs would be lower with smarter packaging.
Oh and these paints were needed for a commission job too. Glad a friend had a bottle so I did not have to delay my client.
Bad experience for me, most likely won’t shop again unless desperate for my needs.
The customer service does get a 3-4 star from me because once someone did respond, the response was very professional and explained about the warehouse move.
Clicking “over a week” for the company response. Though it was actually a couple days until a response. Emailed on the 29th. Response came on the 1st.”
“The incompetence of this company is baffling.
First things first, it took them over 50 days to ship my order and only after I consistently contacted customer service. Imagine those poor quiet saps waiting 60+ days.
Second, one of my items was canceled/refunded. Why did they take my money for something they didn’t have in stock? The item was clearly in stock when I placed my order, so why didn’t they reserve my item?
Third, the box that my order came in was in such a sad state. Don’t go blaming the shipping company for this one as the single piece of tape wrapped around my box was so crooked and unaligned that the cardboard flaps were held together through sheer willpower.
Fourth, one item in my order had a bashed in corner. Luckily, only one item came damaged but why was this item damaged when it was packed near the center of the box? I’m not saying I was shipped a damaged product but I have to wonder.
Now, the classic excuse Miniature Market keeps giving is that they are going through a warehouse move. I understand these things take time but a two months delay is way too much.
Sorry Little Suzy I couldn’t get that game you wanted for your birthday, Miniature Market is having a warehouse move but please understand, they need to grow too!
Sorry Timmy, we couldn’t play that game before you had to head out to basic training, Miniature Market is doing a warehouse move but hey, when you get back they will have twice the space and serve you better in the future!
I guess I’m just bitter that I didn’t get that apology email with the coupon code they sent out but I guess I wouldn’t be needing it anyway. Miniature Market needs to work on improving their logistics instead of slapping the band aid of good customer service over it and expecting people to be satisfied.”
“The mini is cool but it took over 6 months to receive it. I am no longer playing the campaign for which I bought the minis. So I am really disappointed. I don’t understand how that is an appropriate amount of time to wait for a purchase.”
