“I own a few of the couch covers. No matter the upholstery, the back seems to slip. I was thrilled to see (and get) the cover anchor straps. I had to call to find out the best way to apply them, but all is well. A very nice customer service person explained how he uses them and it worked! So far they have stood up to fidgety grandchildren and 2 big dogs. Granted the cover needs straightening, but the back was secure, Love it!”

“Love the dog beds, and the car seat cover. Have ordered multiple beds over the last few years, and they are great. My dog loves them. Also like the car seat cover of cotton instead of the usual toxic plastic.”

“This review is specifically about the wool filled dog bed inserts by Molly Mutt. I love the idea of their wool dog beds, and I loved this bed when it first arrived. I'm really sensitive to materials and wanted to make a healthy choice for my dog, myself, and the environment, and I am willing to pay good money for it. I scoured the internet to try to find the perfect bed for my needs. Sadly, I'd never buy one of these beds again, and can't recommend it with gusto to my health and eco-conscious friends. We've had it for about a year and a half, and as I was just sitting here pulling apart the clumps of wool (again), I was inspired to write a review. The wool became clumpy really quickly, and I literally ripped open the seam to get to it so I could pull it apart and fluff it up again. I'm going to be sewing a zipper to the insert so I can get to the wool more easily. Wool sheeting may work much better than this clumpy stuffing. When I phoned to ask about it, I was told I need to do exactly as I'm doing (minus the ripping of the seam, but I just couldn't get to the material well enough without ripping the seam to get my hands on the wool clumps). When it gets super clumpy and uneven for my poor dog, I put several layers of blankets on it so it doesn't feel as bumpy. Especially as he ages and his joint health declines, this will not be the bed for him. It's possible that if there were more wool in a smaller envelope this wouldn't happen as bad, but as it is, there is enough room that the clumpy wool spreads out leaving some areas bumpy and other areas sparse, so much so that the heavier areas of my dog's body (the hips for instance) would nearly hit the floor. I feel bad making a less-than-stellar review because I LOVE this company's vision, but for the cost of this bed, I'm pretty bummed at the need to repeatedly do the physical task of ripping apart the stuffing on a regular basis. The top cover is made fabulously, it's just the wool insert I'm really unhappy with. If the company is going to tell us to pull apart the wool, they should at least make that easy to do with a cover that allows easy access, but I'm pretty bummed to be needing to fix a bumpy bed in the first place, especially at this price point.”

Why don't you reach out to us help@mollymutt.com and let's see what we can do to help you out. For example - we'd be happy to put a zipper on one of our encasements and send it to you so that you can more easily get at the wool. We can also send you some fresh wool if you need it. The beauty of our wool inserts is that the wool is not processed at all - which means that the natural lanolin on the fibers can do it's magic and help keep your dog warm in the cold winter and cool in the hot summer. Many wool pillow manufacturers treat their wool with chlorine, which removes the lanolin but allows the wool to be easily handled and moved around. We have opted not to do that because we don't believe that dogs -or humans - need to be subjected to more chemicals than we already are. That does mean, however, that the wool in our inserts does have to be hand-fluffed on a regular basis (usually once a week). Thank you again!

“I have the crate bed, the crate cover, and the car hammock and love them! That’s why I knew I needed the large toy bin when my pup’s toys became unruly in my bedroom. It matches beautifully and make everything look cohesive! Molly Mutt products are great quality and I’d recommend them to anyone! One thing to note is that the toy bin is more of a tote (rather than a firm toy bin) so it only stays up with toys actually in it. Doesn’t bother me but I was surprised because it wasn’t the impression I had from the pictures. Still a big fan though!”
