Received yellow roses as a retirement gift from my niece, just dying off after less than a month. Not flowering, leaves dropping and stems turning brown

Bought two bunches of flowers due to bereavement. Had them sent directly to the receiver. Both arrived 3 days late, awful quality, practically dead!! £70 for 3 roses and the rest greenery! So disappointed!! Contacted Moonpig and yes the customer service was great. They sent new flowers due to my complaint, however same situation again. 2 days late and awful quality! Dead, ruined and straight in the bin.

Received a bouquet of flowers from our son for my birthday on 18th July, from Moonpig, first of all the box was dropped over a 6 foot gate, consequently one of the two Gerberas heads had broken off. The bouquet consisted of 2 Gerberas, 1 carnation, 3 sunflowers and 2 small like a lily shape very small, rest was foliage to bulk up. Absolutely disgusting. No sachets of food.

My partner ordered personalised celebration chocolates, a birthday balloon and a card which came to almost £40. Absolutely extortionate price, just robbing people blind. Best part is the balloon was already deflating and the chocolates were the smallest box possible with just a piece of happy birthday cardboard. I'd have expected a tub with happy birthday actually on the tub. Day light robbery. Not happy at all. Don't waste your money. Would have got much more in a supermarket.

Misleading delivery date options. When selecting the card and choosing a delivery date (and paying over £3 for that), you are led to believe that the card will be delivered on the date you selected. When the order confirmation comes through it says “from the date” you selected. Then card turns up 3 days late. £3.19 for almost a week’s delivery time. On top of that, very hard to find “customer services” to complain to.

I genuinely believed Moonpig would be the best choice for something special, two personalised cards and a mug to mark my husband’s milestone 50th birthday. One of those cards was from our six-year-old disabled son, who absolutely idolises his dad. So when the box marked “Delivery for someone special” arrived, I was hopeful. But only one card arrived with the box, mine. Not the one from our son, the one that mattered most. I gave it a day, thinking it might turn up. It didn’t. So I had to open the gift box, hoping some half-brained twit had packed it with the mug. Of course not. And just like that, the surprise of the mug was ruined. My husband opened his gift early with no card from his son. No heartfelt message. Just confusion and disappointment. A one-off moment gone. I reached out to customer support and ended up with Brandon, who, frankly, needs serious retraining. His tone? Arrogant. His attitude? Condescending. His empathy? Non-existent. Not once did he acknowledge the emotional weight of what had been lost. The card will turn up tomorrow, after the moment has passed, when my son is dressed, fed, and eventually hands a “Happy 50th” card hours into the day like an afterthought. What should have been joyful is now just awkward and upsetting. And after all that? No refund. Just a measly £5.99 store credit, as if I’m in a rush to order anything from them again. This wasn’t a minor oversight; it was a complete failure of care, both in service and response. You take people’s money, ruin their memories, and hand out pitiful credits like it’s a favour. Customer care shouldn’t feel like a fight. But it did. And it left me angry, deflated, and completely unheard. Part of my Order ref: 25175

Late again. Have had stuff from these and sent multiple birthday, Christmas and mother's day gifts and cards. All within the delivery time frame. All late by a day or two. Utterly useless

So disappointed! Ordered a card over a week ago, was given a guarantee delivery date. Waited 8 days since I ordered and still no card has arrived. Had to chase them up myself and was told it was more than likely lost and they re issued a new card within seconds. Too late, I needed the card within the week and received no update or refund for my order.

Have been using moonpig for many years now never had a problem ,but a recent order wasn't delivered on guaranteed day ,chased this up , to be told postage refunded ,still no show of card the next day ,again chased up ,was told delayed ,possibly lost ,offered a free card to be sent ,my Dad then recieved 2 cards in same envelope ! on the following day ! Sent email complaint , obviously a bot response saying I had postage refunded ,sorry must of been a printing error !! ... laughable response, not laughing though! ,Won't use again as too many negative comments like mine

My experience mirrors the far too many bad experiences listed here. Arrival well after predicted dates which somewhat defeats the object. The product is a good one however the service is very bad and if try to ascertain where your card is or indeed make a complaint, you find yourself going round in never-ending loop. The complaints procedure is infuriating with one passive aggressive BOT after another replying to your enquiries in BOT_speak. As an individual purchasing a product and personalising a card when it goes wrong, it’s an experience you envisage nobody else is having. However, on the latest debacle one of my daughter’s also purchased a personalised card and paid for special delivery and the card did not arrive too. So one family, same occasion two cards purchased by different people not turning up. The problem we have is that the cards are personalised it’s for special occasions and the offer of any free postage after the event is meaningless. With so many complaints, it really does beg the question. Does this company care and the answer has to be no? My advice find another company and let MoonPig fly over the moon.

⭐ 1 out of 5 – Misleading Delivery Guarantee & Poor Customer Service Moonpig claims to “guarantee” delivery dates — but this is incredibly misleading. My card didn’t arrive on the date they promised. Worse still, they didn’t even inform me — I had to chase them myself to find out what had happened. Their response? A generic apology and an offer to refund the postage… for a card that was now completely useless. No real apology, no accountability — just a shrug and “we can only refund postage.” If you can’t meet the date, don’t call it a guarantee — call it what it really is: we’ll try our best. I trusted Moonpig for an important occasion and they let me down. Very disappointing experience and sadly not the first time I’ve heard this.

Moonpig has let me down several times, blaming delivery and I have tended to give it the benefit of the doubt, until my latest experience. I design two cards for my husband's big birthday, paid extra for a named day delivery slot; despite receiving an email stating it would arrive that day, 4 days ago, these cards have still not turned up. There are no amount of apologies for such an upsetting experience. In addition I have also found it difficult to pick a decent card, the products have become very samey. Moonpig has lost its market share and this is of no surprise to me. I will never use it again!

I will not use this company ever again. They take money, for chosen delivery date, and the card does not turn up! The service has gone down and down, and they disappoint rather than give pleasure. In any event the cards have become boring!
