“Terrible stores. Most fresh bread is past bb date and not priced down. Fresh fruit etc will not last long once home as it is not fresh in the first place Got this from someone in the trade, and not just myself. Most staff are ok, but I think they are past caring really. Regularly run out of carrier bags!!!!!!!!!! Watch out for the wrong prices on many items, you know, like the "out of stock" card being stuck in the wrong place. An old trick. Look out for items like cheese triangles priced at £1 for a box of eight but well over £2 for a double box of 16. Come on morrisons, clean your act up.”
“Missing match and more points customer services not bothered and constantly price on shelf often higher when scaned at tills.morrisons is very poor recently”
“I have always found the staff at my local branch of Morrisons extremely helpful, going and getting items if you can't find them and always going into the warehouse to check if they have an item if the shelf is empty. They advise of any special offers that they have going on and if they can see that I could save money they will tell me. If I've said that I want to cook a special meal they have even helped me with that. If I've happened to go into the shop late and it is close to the closing time (which I always strive to not do) they have never once made me feel guilty over it (which I do naturally feel guilty over) and have never once tried to rush me along. I've been in other supermarkets and 45 mins before closing there is a tannoy announcement to say the store is closing in 45 mins and to make your way to the tills with your purchases - this message is then repeated every 5 mins and does make you feel guilty and under pressure, just not so with Morrisons :)”
“The staff, most of them anyway, may very well be friendly. The store may very well be clean, but that's not why we go there is it. We go there to buy food, and in most cases the quality of fresh items in Morrisons is very bad, especially their fresh (unfresh) bread. See another review here somewhere. How true.”
“I've been using morrison online for over 2 years and for most of that they have provided an excellent service. Unfortunately the last few months their delivery times have been awful. Late nearly every week with the usual excuse...traffic.
Tonight I've just had a call to say my 7.30- 8.00pm order won't be with me till at least 10 if at all.
Not good enough. Reliability is really important to me as I now have to alter my plans for tonight again!
So sorry for the wonderful delivery drivers who have to take all the flack.
Such a shame to see a once excellent service deteriorate.”
“Did online shopping for my mum as I was unable to take her to store. Ordered 100 cigarettes and although she was charged for them she only got 20. Took 20 mins on phone to get a refund. Customer service lady was lovely but not the point. Did it to save time but will think twice before doing it again”
“shopping arrived on time, excellent driver was well mannered could see that i was incapacatated and was extremely helpful love shopping in my loc al shop and when i do a big shop i do use morrisons, the store is bright and airy friendly staff and always helpful”
“Bad company with too many out of stock items. Misleading offers and out of alignment price cards. This is an old trick and not always genuine. Bad fresh produce. Not a good experience. Okay of not too fussy I suppose. Greetings cards are not only a joke but very highly priced. Too much hassle to use self service!! Keep away from them.”
“Morison more expensive them Waitrose!!!!! Bread I buy always the same !!!! Morisson price 1.50 but Waitrose is always !!! 1 pounds !!! I notes my bills for food in Morisson gone v high recently !!! Today wanted to peaches and on the shelf says OLD PRICE is 50 pence !!!!! When come to the till was 1 pack !!!! 2.85 pounds !!!!! So I refused to buy ! On on Gala melon on the shelf is written 2 for 3 pounds but price on the till was 1.75 each !!!!! Is horrible to treat loyal costumer!! !!!!!!! Like that !!!!”
“Camden: There seems to be no logic as to what they keep in stock. Common items just go missing for weeks at a time.
Recently they revamped the store so that the majority of fruit and vegetables are no longer prepacked, but you can select and bag them them yourself - great idea except that last Saturday out of 8 bag dispensers only 2 had bags in, and I took the last bag from one of them! This was at 9:00 am so I don't think there had been a big rush before me.
There just seems to be a general lack of interest from both managers and floor staff.”
