I always shop at Morrisons: I've been going there for years. The 1 Star rating is not about the store itself but about the customer service I receive at the checkout. It only happens at the checkout. I have encountered two particular female workers at the checkout and each time I am greeted with barely concealed ignorance, even though I know for a fact that I have never caused either of these female employees any problems (I'm always polite and respectful to staff) But regarding these two, they both have been downright rude to me, it has left me speechless. Both are mature ladies. From the very start, one of them literally refused to speak to me at all (I've encountered her three times now) She completely ignores me when I say 'Hello'/ she never asks if I need hand with packing/ she doesn't bother to ask if I have a Morrisons More Card/ she hands me my receipt with her head turned the other way and she refuses to open her mouth until I leave and then the next customer comes along and suddenly she becomes animated and chatty: 'Hello there, how are you? Do you need a hand?' It seems that saying a simple 'Bye' to me is too much trouble for her. I have encountered many racist attitudes towards me in the past and present and it doesn't make me feel any better when I'm treated with contempt (I am Asian, not a parasite) and I never fail to notice she is as friendly as can be when the (white customer/s) before or behind me approach her. Believe me, I am not being paranoid or making any excuses: I just KNOW when someone is being racist towards me and this woman is one of them. And NO, I never play the race card in life: I detest people who do but I have enough experience to know when I come across such people: they find it almost impossible to hide their contempt for you. You see it on their faces, its either the dirty looks they give or their refusal to make any eye contact (such a simple gesture) or to acknowledge you. The other woman completely dismissed me when I asked her something, she PRETENDED she couldn't understand a single word I had said as an excuse not to be helpful, as if I were a stupid Asian woman. Her hearing is perfect before you suggest she has a hearing problem, as she had no difficulty understanding the couple behind me when they spoke to her. Trust me: I am not a troublemaker and never have been but it spoils my shopping trip when I am seen to by these two workers, so from now on I will make the effort to avoid these women and find a checkout where it's not too much trouble for a member of staff to be polite. Kindness really does a long way. When I got upset, my mum told me to just ignore them and forget about it and not to let it bother me. Easier said than done. That's why I felt compelled to write a review for the first time. Other than that, I want to point out that I really like Morrisons, I love the food and will continue to be a loyal customer, so long as I don't bump into those two anymore. As for the rest of the staff at Morrisons, they are lovely and so helpful (they and the store get a 4 star rating) I'm sorry I had to give one star (but it only applies to the women mentioned and not to Morrisons as a whole) So lastly, let me just say thanks so much to the above mentioned ladies for making me feel like I'm not welcome and lowering my self-esteem: good on you/ high fives/ fist pumps/ PG Tips for your celebratory drinks. By the way, if for any reason, someone (such as a rude customer, unlike myself) is nasty and upsets either of you, maybe you'll realise just how hurtful it is when someone is unpleasant, through no fault of your own. Remember that feeling. Mind you, do either of you have the right to complain when you casually treat people of another race the same way? I think not.

Price increase of 150% for putting air in car tyres. The machine gobbled up my 20 p and wouldn’t produce air. On enquiry I was told that the minimum charge for air is now 50p. In effect I was forced to pay 70p for air as the machine wouldn’t refund my 20p. This is just one of a number of issues I have had with Morrison’s recently. I never received my Easter treat for spending £40 a week on groceries over four weeks. The new stickers on bread cannot be read by the checkout reader because the labels are too shiny. I didn’t receive my 15% discount on purchasing bread although it was activated on my digital Morrison’s card. The overall impression I am left with is that Morrison’s have inefficient systems and a rather cynical attitude to motorists who use their petrol station facilities.

Inept and arrogant chef. The food items in our retirement facility are predominantly on the list of the most "disliked" foods. Blackened Reubin sandwich, filet mignon cooked only on one side. Dishonesty is pervasive. Cheapest foods along with cheapest chefs results in poor meals for us.

I bought a bottle of vintage champagne from the store but learned that the recipient was allergic to it . I went to return the champagne , within 5 days but was told they do not refund on alcohol !!! What a joke they are ! I wonder Ahmet they do with a corked bottle of wine ? Then again they probably don’t have the expertise to know !

Morrison's Online Delivery, Canterbury. Dreadful delivery service and very hard to find anyone to contact. Two recent orders were not delivered. The most recent one was booked for delivery between 4 and 6pm - and I was not contacted until 8.30pm to be told that the order was not coming, even though it had been picked and packed! I'd given up on getting fresh food from Morrison's Delivery anyway, as it always arrived damaged - but I won't bother ordering anything again.

I visit Morrisons in Ormskirk Lancashire quite at lot and find it very nice. I visited the store today and was very upset at the way the staff at restaurant spoke to a disabled shopper. The shopper was an elderly lady with difficulty walking she was told to go and get a table number And come back to the counter. I told the lady there was a table near the counter reserved for disabled. The staff told the lady the table was reserved for wheel chairs I pointed out that there were 4 chairs around the table. And that the logo on the table was for disabled people.as per the carpark The lady made her way to another table with the assistance of a young lady. 10 minutes later two able bodied shoppers came and sat at the table reserved for disabled people. And another 2 shoppers sat at another table reserved for the disabled and nothing was said to them. I believe Morrisons is discriminating disabled old people because they do not wish to use a wheel chair. Can you please reply to this Email.

If the new owners have any sense and brains they will sell off and close down the Morrisons Holloway Road Store, 10 Hertslet Road, London N7 6PL as part of their sell off package, the store, the staff, the management have gone down hill rapidly, let a new retailer have the space.

Void at all cost car park full of traveler caravans (that don't travel very far so should change name ) so no room to park and no trolleys as I think they moved them.to stop them getting pinched. Can't get in car park because of queue for petrol causing problems at lights. Not many staff serving as they got attacked by the tracker dogs that are roaming free. No police present to help with traffic of parking or travelers. DONT GO THERE. You have been warned.

Honestly my advice is to never have an online delivery that comes from Skegness - poor packing and the last one had 6 fridge main meals three other fridge items that had 48 hours or less on them - 2 of which if frozen took an extra 25 minutes in the oven. Worse still 4 days for a reply from customer service and even worse still want photographs of the short dated items and all you get are canned replies. Over 50 deliveries from other supermarkets and never needed to contact them - two from Morrisons and two deliveries with short date items. Two times need to deal with the CS Edited to add customer service made me take photos and send them then said everything was within their policy as acceptable dates seriously I wasted about an hour of my time with these fools, I had given them all the dates on the form on Friday why not tell me this straight away? Just fun wasting my time. Thrown away about £14 of stuff, all the fruit was over ripe in 24 hours. Had to do another small shop yesterday. Honestly stick with Tesco or Asda so much more professional, their drivers announce the short dated stuff not dump 15 fridge food items with 24 to 48 hours to eat

What can i say Morrisons Holloway Road Store what can I say, what a shambles of a store all the management team should be fired. The store itself is very dirty and dinghy it looks like it will fall down soon, staff have no customer service skills you are either ignored or get a grunt, nail varnish is worn on food counters and no gloves, and as for stock, every single day is always something they fob you off with, and what stock they do have is so overpriced, some stock has doubled in price but shrunk in package and today customers saw mice and mentioned it to the person running the checkouts but was ignored and as for checkouts a majority of the staff are rude and the checkouts itself are dirty with spilt meat juice🤢 if the new owners have any sense they close this branch down and let a new retailer take over or get rid of the staff you have there and rehire new ones.

I got injured in one of their stores whereby my ring caught on one of there freezer doors, cutting my finger and damaging my wedding ring. They employ very young females as customer service assistants who hadnt a clue what to do and advised i phone head office. I put my complaint in writing to be told they were doing nothing, even though i had a witness and was probably on cctv. I was told to take legal advice which i think is atrocious. I used to use Morrisons all the time but i will be taking there advice and seeking compensation via no win no fee! Disgusting how they treat people!

Having a bad experience is in itself a concern, but when a store manager is ignorant and rude is an outrageous way to treat customers. Fiona needs training in how to treat the people who are important ( I.e, the customers)............. Not a place to continue spending hard earned money with this dms attitude Robert Duffy

Staff at Morrisons Holloway Road Store from management down are an absolute disgrace, they are horrible and really really rude to customers, they don't care one bit about their job. Out of date stock still on shelves even from two months out of date, absolutely shocking, 10/10 times you see the staff standing around gossiping when you want to speak to someone higher up the management just shrug, it says it all really they really don't care about this store, either get rid of them all and restructure or close this branch down and let another decent outlet take it over and by the way can you tell the member of staff to stop going to the cigarette counter to sneakily eat her crisps and chicken wings and leave red lights flashing then comes back to serve customers without wiping her hands, us customers saw everything but she gets away with it. ADVICE: AVOID THIS PLACE and beware of the rats and mice.

Don’t bother if you’re not over fifty. Refused my valid out of state ID and refused to even look at secondary form of ID. What’s good enough for international airports isn’t good enough for Morrison’s. On top of that the server was horribly rude and told me I looked 15 before kicking me out. I’m 28.

100% agree with Tony Young below 👌the Holloway Road Store needs to be shut down, staff are disinterested in working they just like to stand around doing nothing and chatting and ignoring customers needs. The store is absolutely dirty, shelves are never filled, rotten fruit and veg on shelves, half eaten food on floors and shelves and yes much to often the customer/carpark lift are always breaking down about every 2 weeks. I agree another supermarket retailer would be better taking it over and make better use of it because this Morrisons Branch should be shut down ASAP.

Morrison Holloway branch. Always been poorly run and stocked. Today the lifts aren't working. Nothing new there apart from there being no sign informing their valuable customer of this leaving them to hang around like moron. Should shut this one down and let a decent chain take it over.

No food Hygiene standards, a young woman made us a pizza today and didn’t wear food gloves, she spread all the ingredients around the pizza with her bare hands and false nails, goodness only knows what germs and bacteria could have been spread over the pizza, we don’t like throwing food away, but we had to put it in the bust in when we got home, we just couldn’t bear the thought of it, COVID and other Viruses are out there, we normally Love Morrisons but we won’t be going back to the Bolsover store

I am puzzled as to Morrisons' response to any of my comments. When I compliment them via email on good service, I get an immediate response. However, if I have a complaint, it is ignored. I like Morrisons and regularly use 3 branches near me. Since the pandemic, I have always felt safer as the aisles are wider and sanitizing stations are aplenty. I also like the fact that they have manned counters for fish, meat, delicatessen, bakery etc. I just want to know why they never address certain issues I have had.
