BEWARE OF HIDDEN MEMBERSHIP CHARGES! I ordered the meal preps, they were okay, i've ordered meat from here as well which was also fine, no real complaints on the food and I would continue ordering from here if not for the hidden charges. After not ordering from here for over a year I noticed I was being charged £4 a month. I didn't notice this payment coming out because of the card it comes out of so by the time I had realised they had taken a lot of money. You will not be made aware that this is happening at all. I don't remember ever subscribing to this, it's not something I would be interested in. You will not receive an email notification to confirm that this months payment has gone through (because then you'd know whats happening). You will not be made aware that you have subscribed to this service at all and the company are aware that they do this in secret and will not refund you. They will simply say you should have known. Even after multiple complaints in the comments I doubt they will do the right thing and set up an email alert letting people know exactly what they have signed up for. Very bad business practices and because I don't know how on earth I subscribed to it in the first place I wont be making any more purchases incase that also incurs hidden charges and subscriptions. However, if they refund me for this and can offer transparency in what a purchase actually means i'd be happy to continue shopping here.

Very disappointed by delivery left next door ar another farm just hope it hadn't spoiled the food didn't even come and find me on our farm and lam always here

Food was delivered when it was due. Delivered in good quality box with suitable freezer blocks to keep the food in good condition. The food is always excellent quality.

The quality of food is mainly excellent while there are a few items that seem to be a bit overly processed such as the steak mince and the meat balls which tend to be quite tough, delivery by DPD one one occasion having a damaged box left on front door, having noticed a text saying it was delivered maybe an hour later (despite the fact we were in at the time) thankfully it wasn't stolen on this occasion however enticing a large box of meat might be. Our first order also had chicken juices on other items of vacuum packed meats which was a bit of a mess to have to deal with prior to putting in the freezer. We also had missing items however so wondering if they ended up on a trailer floor or back of a van somewhere? Had an online chat regarding the above an was assured that I could have had a refund of my next order (which I thought was very cheeky at the time) and have since not ordered from them. They seem to have a lot of confusing "offers" which are rarely any better value than the supermarkets. They often have hampers where it is difficult to know what any individual item might be priced at and it seems difficult to imagine getting similar items from the supermarket, i.e. 2 for £7 steaks in Asda while paying any more for it. They'll have offers such as 5kg Chicken for £25 but then have to pay a delivery charge also as I believe that you cannot add other items to the order. It's also quite annoying that all their steaks are 175g and being used to having 225g ones, they seem stingy.

Had a few problems with orders in the past but customer service is ok and resolved issues.

I am not a lover of pork meat and the deals are never without. It is a waste for me when I buy your deals.

Quality of MF products is second to none. As a company you must get your customer service sorted. Taking forever to acknowledge comments is unacceptable. Also your packaging process seems to let you down As i have had numerous deliveries with over half my items completely missing.

Chicken breast was fantastic but steaks and a few other bits were of very poor quality. Overall the amount of food was good for the price but the quality suffered.

Muscle food is very good, and can help customers loose weight and have seemed to specialise in this area over the last year or so. Delivery is always good and efficient and any complaints have normally been addressed but with a few that have not. I would recommend MF to meal plan customers however they have steered away From their small family owned business model and customer first attitude. I have been a long customer with the company for years and seen it change and develop. Unfortunately it means that personal touch has gone and the food quality has diminished with no Benefit to the customer. Price wise I feel I’m paying more for what I’m getting and have sourced bulk foods from other smaller companies more local to me. I would only look out for bulk order offers now but they always seem to be items that I’m not interested in.

No argument with the value or the service - top notch. But I feel that sometimes in aiming for the least fat, the quality of the meat is sometimes compromised. I get it - they are 100% clear about the low fat content and why that is. It's just that often I would rather eat less and better than more and low fat. If training is your whole goal, then go for musclefood.

It arrives when expected and food taste good.. Only down size is the lean hampers. The food does seem to be on the small side ( I know lean) but portions are small.

I have been a publican for twenty years and now in domestic life I now rely on muscle food for good quality meat and excellent delivery

Food good quality and refunds have been given for the odd item that hasn’t arrived perfectly. Big down side for me is the individual boxes you pick the contents of yourself or to just buy bits individually works out expensive. Delivery is also expensive which put together is what stops me using them more maybe a bulk order discount code would be helpful!

Disappointingly the prices have gone up over the last few years so you don’t get bargains anymore. What you do get though is high quality food better than the supermarkets.

Chicken is nice, rest isnt great, delivery generally ok. Refunds is non existant just a credit on account and not money back

It would make me happy if they didnt offer things like 'get all this for a penny, but the catch is you have to have a much bigger hamper first to get the other for a penny, and if they didnt automatically put spicy stuff in hampers that you might want to try but cant for health rwasons have spicy items, this then limits what you can order
