“Experience wasn?t bad meat ok quality , maybe just me but expected more but no complaints all was as it was advertised”

“I have ordered from muscle food a few time and it is mostly good feedback. The only thing I find annoying is they tell you that your order is dispatched. Then on the day of delivery you get told some of your order isn?t showing up. This is what happened to me on my last order. I order the ultimate saver hamper and just the chicken, bacon and diced beef arrived. But I got told the morning of driver that the rest wasn?t coming which is very annoying. If there is a shortage you should be offered replacements a few days before the deliver was happening.”

“Food is great delivery is always awful boxes are always bashed and damaged and there is always one item open. As I said the food is always great quality just a shame about how it arrives.”

“Expected better quality after reading write up and reviews. No better or worse than can get in supermarket. Cooked some straight away and there a lot of water came out.”

“We really like the chicken, burgers and meatballs. The only thing that we are disappointed is the quality of the rump steaks. When we first started ordering them, they were really nice with hardly any fat, but the last couple of times we have received them they were misshapen with lots of fat. Will not be ordering them again hence 3*.”

“Delivery was very quick,some of the meat wasn't great,the steak was gristley and the pictures looked better than the actual meat we received.Wouldnt buy this again but the amount of meat you got for your money was ok”

“Hmm some of the food was almost out of date and even tho I put it in the freezer it could be in there for a while the chicken was fine but didn?t like the diced beef just lakes flavour the diced chicken in sauce was not bad overall ok but abit annoyed that the beef didn?t have a longer expired date”

“Ordinarily I would give 5star rating as I've always go what I ordered and the meat is good quality. However I have had issues with my previous and current order so I've reduced my rating to cover this I ordered 4 x 2.5kg of chicken breasts. Every single pack weighed well under 2.5kg, so I've only received 9 kg. Currently waiting for customer service to get back to me.”

“Some of the packaging has split and some of the minced beef had gone off while apparently still within its use-by date. This is the first issue I've had with musclefood, they're usually brilliant.”

“A mixed bag. Prawns were awful - completely tasteless and not worth eating. Grass fed beef was full of fat, more than twice as much as normal. I am considering researching for a new supplier after more than 2 years of only buying my meat from muscle food. Disappointing.”

“Received my 1st order this week, to be honest a bit disappointed, chicken was a bit smelly, and pork loins very thin, I was a bit dubious about fresh meat delivered.I have froze it all, see what I think when defrosted. Don?t think I will order again.”

“I have always been super happy with muscle food - too quality food, much less fatty chicken than supermarkets and great flavours and variety. I have been ordering for a long time now. Unfortunately this latest delivery of chicken was fatty and even had bones in the boneless chicken breasts. It won?t stop me from ordering again just disappointed”

“Items are shown as available on the ordering system despite not being available. Instead of waiting for the items to be delivered, you could contact people or provide a replacement if prepated meals aren't in stock. Every time an order is missing something you email the day of delivery despite having three days to prep the parcel. Could be more proactive. As for the response, it's alwaya the same statement no matter how much they've not completed an order. Be proactive in contacting customers to agree alternatives is the point”
