“Steak was fatty and chewy very disappointing”

“Lately the boxes have not been kept cool and ice packs have started melting. Chicken packages contain a lot of juice as a result which is concerning. Overall food quality is great”

“Musclefood all good, but DPD left my delivery in full view of the street in full sun on my front doorstep. I always have it delivered to my garage if I?m not in. Luckily neighbour noticed it and rang me and I had to leave my elderly mum unattended while I drove 10miles home to get it out of the sun. I have let them know.”

“Liked what was delivered but not how it was delivered. Found on muddy soil in lashing rain and the green on the box destroyed my uniform when I had left clear instructions where it was to be placed if I was not in.”

“Chicken breasts were large and very little fat to cut off, in comparison to tesco and morrisons these are better. The turkey mince smells like dog food and tastes absolutely disgusting. No one was able to eat this. Sausages and beef mince are fine just like your average supermarket ones. The steaks were also a miss.”

“I had missing items from my order! Missing half of meatballs and and 1 x southern fried chicken diced! Apart from that everything was good and will happily order again as long as my missing items are resolved Thanks”

“Delivery was fine as always however the chicken is not to the usual standards. I have been using Musclefood for 8 years. To begin with the quality of the chicken was far superior to what you would find in the supermarkets. There has been a steady decline over the last couple of years. The chicken used to arrive with free from fatty bits and bloodspots. Recently these have started to reappear which results in me having to cut off a not unsubstantial amount of chicken before storing it in the freezer.”

“Only marked down as they missed 4 items from my first ever delivery. I eventually got this resolved through customer services. The actual products are great and they use branded products which is a plus.”

“I ordered the ?55 hamper (first time buyer)with, the second 2 hampers at a penny. I added 2.5 kg of chicken breasts on top, totalling a?70 order. It was delivered fine and on time. On opening the huge box , which could have been smaller by the way, I was slightly disappointed at how the amount of meat looked in comparison to the pictures. I started price checking roughly with my local supermarket and found not much of a saving if any really however, the meat we have tried , the BBQ chicken and Cumberland sausages were very good as was the Hache (the rest is in the freezer)The quality of the chicken breast are visibly very good.”

“I am normally extremely happy with the service and quality of products from Musclefood. I am disappointed on this occasion with the short best before dates of all products I received in my order on this occasion I will continue to use Musclefood and hope this was a one off. Normal rating 5 stars”

“The quality if the food is fantastic I have nothing but praises for the quality, variety and flavours of all the meals I recieve. However I do have some criticisms. The amount of packaging that comes in the meal kits is insane. So much single use plastic packaging which is a such a shame considering the state the world is in, you would have though there would be a better way around this. I have also had several delivery issues. This isn't so much Musclefoods fault, rather the courier they choose to use which is DPD. More often than not, deliveries are late, or just not made at all which in turn compromises the food which requires refrigeration. That being said, musclefood does always make amends and sends another box if needs be, free of charge if there is an issue with shipping.”

“I feel the standard of the food has dropped in recent years. I?m 99% sure the Heritage Rump Steaks I received were wrongly packaged and were actually the much poorer quality Flat Iron steaks”

“Food is good, and I like that you get can get meal kits for 1 person Downside: calories listed do not include "extras" which is oil for most recipes Many of the recipes tell you to use half of something. This makes sense for vegetables, but why are you telling me to use half the pesto packet, or half the puree? And there is no calorie listing for these individual items so I couldn't track them if they were used for something else. Also many recipes include a large rice packet and say to use half. If I had the willpower to only eat half of anything I would not be purchasing a calorie controlled meal plan.”

“The hamper was great but not letting me know you had a supply issue with the tomahawk steak until the hour before delivery kind of dissappojnted me since i had a dispatch confirmation of all items. The steaks were the main reason i made this purchase due to being on sale chances are now i wont be able to get that same deal the next time i decide to place an order”
