Always get my delivery on time but the quality can be hit-or-miss. Had a couple instances of bad chicken and then they offer discounts to apologise, but getting the discount code from them as promised is like blood from a stone. The "hampers" they advertise as being free when you buy something else are a good (ish) deal, but I don't understand how they get away with pretending they're giving them away for free. Do the maths.

Customer service from musclefood is very good. All queries sorted quickly. However, I find musclefood very expensive despite them claiming that they are cheaper than supermarkets. This simply is not true. More times than not on delivery an item or two had damaged packaging meaning raw meat had leaked over everything. Also I think they are more tailored to single people rather than couples. If me and my partner wanted to do do the unthinkable the cost would be absolutely ridiculous just for one week. For us that's just not sustainable.

Was buying ready meals 14 for 27.99 then price went up . They are not worth any more than that. Shame they were convenient but not going to buy anymore at rip off price sorry.

Brilliant meat full of flavour and no fat. Would definitely order again and recommend to others. Prices are very good as nd well worth it with delivery within 2 days.

I received my order on time and in good condition, ice bags still half frozen so food well chilled. I enjoyed the chicken satay however one of the chicken dishes was far too spicy for me it was so hot I couldn't eat it. Then I tried the BBQ chicken and I personally found the texture of the chicken a bit hard and chewy. I am fussy though. I had not noticed anywhere when ordering that it was a recurring order so I found the contact me section and emailed explained I disliked the meals and asked for the next order to be cancelled and no further orders. I was pleasantly surprised to get a reply within a couple of hours and they were happy to cancel my order and refund the money, cancelling the repeats. I cannot complain about the customer service I received as it was good, however it is a shame about the texture of the chicken as the rest of the dish was good. I noted that they say beef comes from british and irish farms however the chicken dishes state EU and non EU countries so perhaps that is the problem? overall customer service was good.

order 704833585 update After getting through to someone who understood my concerns about the blood in the packaging,they have decided the replace the whole order as a sorry for the problem,all i can say is make sure you take pics as soon as you open the box or you will have trouble sorting the issue,hopefully this order will come intact

Further on from my previous review I am writing another but due to poor customer service. I am still awaiting my refund which you emailed and promised me over a week ago. It would be nice if did what you agree to do otherwise I am £35.97 out of pocket

First time customer. Hamper arrived on time, couldn’t fault that, & all items where there. A lot is vacuumed packed, so as gone straight in the freezer. The packs seem small but I’m assuming that’s because they are vacuumed pack or I’m just rubbish at weights. I can’t comment on quality etc as we haven’t had any yet. However, not impressed with the chicken breasts. We separated them into portions of two, for ease, but they were starting to smell as though they were on the cusp of not being right, even though the date is for 3 days away. Not sure I’d re-order

Had my first delivery last week, looks nothing like the picture they show, so a bit deceiving, have only used sausage and steak burgers , and both we’re delicious, so all in all well worth money,lots of chicken and sausage steak burgers mince, steaks small , so may order again will wait until I’ve tried more of the meat in this order

3 stars as one service is great, the other very bad: - Buying meat is very cheap, and quality is pretty strong. I usually buy a hamper of meat that lasts a few months (putting all the food in the freezer) - The weekly "do the unthinkable" is very bad for several reasons: the amount of plastic is dreadful. The fact that they will send you a new box every week, just because they hid somewhere that it was not a one time buy, but a suscription (thank god I check my emails in my spams, otherwise, would have been charged a high amount of money). And the fact that on the package, it said the food was good until August 2020, but it was definitely not good anymore after just a week. So I only recommend Muscle food for their meat, not the weekly food do the unthinkable bit.

Initially happy with the service but they have taken £4 from my account with no authorisation and I am unaware what the charge is for. I was planning to use this frequently but after this fiasco I will be contacting my bank as they have taken money with no authorisation.

Order from musclefood quite a lot And they are usually fantastic but my most recent order had 2 things missing which granted they refunded me and emailed telling me which is fine but upon my order arriving It turns out that 4 other things are missing I have emailed them 3 times asking for an update and had no reply I also contacted the delivery company to see if it was they’re mistake but they informed me that the box was damaged and returned to muscle food again also fine but just wish they would drop an email and let me know?
