so I paid nearly £300 for an Iphone 6plus 64gb next day delivery, when the phone arrived, I activated the phone then put my sim card in then decided to make a call. I then realised I couldn't hear anything at all and the person on the other side couldn't hear me either. Then I thought I would try another number and it happened again, turns out the phone was faulty and I couldn't make calls at all. What kind of company sells phones without doing the very simple thing of checking it actually calls out and works???? I then realised the phone don't vibrate either, so this so called company asked me to send them the phone, I am now nearly £300 down and without a phone and they tell me there is no compensation and i have to wait up to 10 working days for another phone or to fix the one i sent them, it's ridiculous. i wish I used another company and never had dealt with them. I have to wait 10 working days without a phone at all now. I would give them absolutely ZERO stars if i could and I will be putting this review on every review company i come across and will not be recommending this company to anyone at all and advise everyone to stay well clear from them

This company i my opinion, finds faults which are not true (after providing evidence which sugests there was no fault). Also, their emails seem to go into spam and if you dont respond within 4 days they will not return your item! I feel truely unhappy with my experience! I will never use this service again. BEWARE!

Sent 2 iphones as they offered the best price online. They said one of my iphones was faulty and only offered me a small amount for it so I asked them to return it (it wasn't faulty at all and is still being used by a friend). But I have been waiting for the payment for the second phone, which still hasn't appeared in my account. I'm now trying to get hold of them...we will see what they say but not feeling great about this company at all. £60 down the drain. I used enviro phone before and had absolutely no problems. Will use them in future to recycle phone. AVOID THIS BUNCH AT ALL COSTS WOULD BE MY ADVICE!

I sent an iPhone 5s with original charging cable and plug and box. They said it was faulty and I did not accept their revised price. My phone was returned to me but no charging cable/plug! I have emailed 3 times and phoned 5 times. No response to emails and on hold when I phone. I would give this "company" 0 out of 5 😠

Absolutely appalling! Avoid at all costs. First experience wan't too bad in that the purchased CD contained the wrong CD in the correct outer cover> After complaining they issued a refund - fine & acceptable. Second experience has taught me NEVER to deal with them again. Purchased 2 DVD's - 1 was OK the other contained the wrong DVD in the correct outer cover (how shocking?!) As they were for when our grandchildren visited it wasn't noticed until they played them which admittedly was 7 weeks after purchase. I politely highlighted the error to them although I didn't really expect a refund due to passage of time their response was incredibly indifferent & I quote 'As per the guidelines issued by eBay, all missing or faulty items should be reported within 60 days of the estimated delivery date and unfortunately your request has been made outside of these delivery guidelines. Also, due to the length of time that has passed, we do not have access to our records for this order any more' As mentioned I wasn't really expecting any refund & would have accepted a polite explanation but having them point out to me their terms (which, if they had adhered to I was actually within the time constraints & therefore was eligible for refund) has riled me beyond belief. I am (almost!) tempted to contact a national tabloid newspaper & tell them of my bad experience with MusicMagpie so they can print it alongside a very sad photo of me!

OMG I wish I had read these reviews before sending my books/DVDs to MusicMagpie. The first 'flagup' was a couple (Man/Women) I saw collected my 2 boxes from my porchway in a small silver ford fiesta/VW type car...and i thought 'that doesnt look like DHL or a proper courier service? I was going to go out and speak with them, but changed my mind! sorry I did now. Anyway, my 2 boxes (only small amounts tbh £22.83&£9.56=£32.39)...eventually arrived at MM, and i rec'd an email saying payment had been made £20.83+£7.06=£27.89..a difference of £4.50. The reason..one unoriginal DVD (I did buy from the Maker so I am open to say thats a maybe?) But the 2nd DVD which I originally paid £22.50 about 2 yrs ago for...was not received by them?? What?? are they serious??? Well I certainly don't have it, So where is it??? I have phoned 3 times (no answer), I have emailed twice (no reply). I have now reported them to Trading Standards who will be investigating, I am going to write them a registered letter with my complaint of theft/fraud that has occurred. This is about integrity and truth, and I am saddened that such a thing could happen when I sent my goods in good faith.

Crap customer service. They don't reply to emails. Sent 73 games and films....they paidon't my sons £27 after having quoted £37. This was because "art work" was damaged on the packaging. Complete lie AND they kept the items. Don't use this company.

Attempted to sell approx. 30 DVDs and an iPhone 5c to MusicMagpie, using their free courier service. In short, waited in all day for the courier on the agreed day but he failed to turn up. Tried emailing them to ask what happened, but it took them 4 days to respond. Requested a new date for the courier as suggested by them, but never received any confirmation from them. A week later I receive another email suggesting I arrange yet another date. To be honest I've now given up, if this is any indication to the level of service they provide, it will be safer and easier to go elsewhere!

Have never used them before but thought I'd give it a go selling some of my old games. I sent my order via their own courier to ensure it arrived quickly. Took over a week for them to acknowledge they had received it. When they finally did they confirmed my cheque was on the way. Have just received cheque and they've sent me a completely different and lower amount. Appears they are just another one of those many scam companies who quote you one thing and pay out something entirely different. Avoid at all costs.

Was offered £152 for my iPhone 6, sent it to them and tracked the service, they were a day late in responding to me and only responded because I chased after I'd seen it had been delivered. They then told me my screen was cracked and they'd only give me £53 for it, I had this returned and the phone was in perfect condition as I had sent it! Waste of time and terrible communication throughout!

I decided to sell my old unlocked iPhone 5 through MusicMagpie. I was initially offered £80.10 via their website. When they received my phone, they reduced the offer to £25.15 with the claim that "Reason: Screen - green frame around LCD more than 1 cm". The reason changed when I called them to "the screen colours have faded. Neither of these claims are true as it was a phone used solely used for testing websites I designed for work (total use of ~50 hours). I have since decided to keep the phone for work purposes. It still does, and always has worked perfectly. This seems to be a common tactic used to maximise profits. I'd strongly recommend avoid selling any electrical devices to MusicMagpie. I sent my HTC One M8 in full working condition for the quote of £55. Received an email saying that it was not in the condition specified as the sim tray was missing and that £5 was the new offer. I rang to address this and the customer service was terrible and they were rude. They told me that they were not willing to replace my sim tray or increase the price so I declined. My HTC One M8 has now been returned and is in a worse condition than it was sent and its value has been effected. Disgusting service.

Sent 2 iPhones a 5 and a 6 plus both met their criteria of good condition. Upon receipt of the phone we were contacted to say the iPhone 5 had a faulty screen and the 6 plus had a faulty battery. These had both been in full time use until 3 days before they were sent to music magpie. The original offer for the 6 plus was £249.10 with supposed battery fault £45!! Less than a smashed one functional one?? The iPhone 5 was £70.10 reduced to £15. In total offer over £250 less than expected. Cancelled the transaction and phones are being shipped back. Avoid music magpie at all costs they are rip off merchants!

I bought an imac duo on ebay trough MusicMagpie back on October 30th 2015, they sold me a faulty desktop. The computer lasted exactly a year and then they told me after 12 in a half months that I was out of warranty but still could send my mac on Dec 2016. I send it computer and packed as they asked me to do it back in Dec, now they say is out of warranty. The Manager Mrs Dakota made final decision now in January after Mr Tom had told me to send my mac eventhough it was out of warranty, his stuff sent me label to send computer back. The service is bad I been most january dealing with this, now they got my money and computer!!! also I been calling and they have erased me from their system so they can not find my purchase etc, making this more difficult because they decided to not deal with bad item. Ebay is now aware of this scam...Dont buy from them, is a scam, my mac was taken from a music library center and was opened several times. They re sale faulty items to only last 13 months...
