“I’m so impressed with my food bag! I brag to all my friends and family and anyone else I make contact with. So good to try different recipes, super fresh ingredients and all the hard work taken out of planning and preparing super tasty meals. So easy to cancel aswell if I’m away a week.”

“Using My Food Bag is working out well, we have a family, run a business and one of us works in employment, and having our meal options set out with all the ingredients saves us time not only in the cooking but also deciding what to eat. We often miss the deadline to choose our meals and would really appreciate a text & email reminder to choose the meals before the Sunday night deadline.”

“The recipes are easy to follow and very tasty overall. Always arrives on time and no missing ingredients so far My only issue is I wish that my food back would collect the boxes the food arrives in and reuse them”

“Faultless service... four nights each week with the thinking, buying and delivery of delicious economical meals done for us is such a luxury. We have been introduced to different flavours and recipes. My husband loves the structure of the meal preparation and has increased his cooking skills to more than cheese on toast.”

“Been loving bargain box! The ingredients are fresh and great quality. Some recipes I find a bit plain but can easily add extra flavour/condiment to suit us. Great to have every 2nd week so we can use up ingredients if needed the following week. Would love if seasoning packets came in the size required for the recipe as end to with a lot of leftover and they tend to solidify in when even clipped closed in cupboard.”

“We love the ease and different meal options available. Delivery is great and I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I have two things that I am not happy about though. One is to do with the chicken meat we receive in our delivery on Mondays where it either has to be eaten that day or the next before it runs out of time. This means that we have to check it and put it straight in the freezer to be able to have the chicken meal later in the week. The other is around the potatoes we receive - we usually receive 800gm as required in the recipe but end up losing almost 300gm plus due to blemishes and grey spots etc. We also sometimes receive different spices than is required in the recipe. Other than those issues we really enjoy the meals and ease”

“Sometimes have trouble choosing recipes due to nut and coconut allergy and my partner doesn't eat bulgar or couscous. Had some issues for the past few weeks not receiving all of the ingredients. Would like more fish options. The recipes are easy to follow and occasionally I'm blown away by the dish. But usually quite average. Love not going to the grocery store as often with our busy lifestyle.”

“The meals are mainly good! But sometimes have weird. Mixing of ingredients! But as far as receiving what comes in the box! That is where i feel its falling short! At times bad produce missing products, missing instructions, and getting things you dont even need for that week!! So really for me its a mixed box good and bad!”

“Both my partner and I are vegetarians and we love the recipes. They are really tasty and it has taken the stress of deciding what to have away. The thing that has let my food bag down is the amount of items missing or rotten. We had a risotto last week and the main risotto rice was missing. That was pretty bad. We have also had products that go off the day after arrival, like coleslaw that were also pretty disgusting. I understand the food shortage at the moment but quality control should be high priority.”

“Despite a couple of hiccups along the way with the odd missing item and one occasion when the meals we had ordered weren't the meals that were delivered, we've been impressed with the quality and freshness of ingredients. So far, and we're only a couple of months in, there has been a good variety and choice of meals and the service from the team has been prompt when contacted.”
