“We love our weekly bargain box drops! I think I’ve now talked about 5 different people into it because I’m so in love with it haha I use to spend an hour or 2 in my weekends planning meals for the week and then doing my food shop. It’s so nice not having to worry about that. The food is so fresh and the recipes are easy and delicious! Plus there is tonnes of food! I did the trial week and was hooked straight away.”

“We have enjoyed the fun of cooking our dinners with the Bargain Box. It has taken the pressure of both the staff and the residents. Although, we sometimes forget to buy the pantry stables and to use all of the ingredients! It gets a bit trickier for us when we have to double our meals because of how many we are! But overall, we are loving it!”

“I find the meals to be delicious and different from that which I would normally cook. It is great to get away from the traditional meat and 3 veg. I particularly enjoy the ease in which to put the meals together and living on my own I often find I have enough left over for lunch the next day”

“We love the variety and choice of cuisines every week but we do end up with many bags of peas and spinach - perhaps more variety in terms of greens would be good eg: French beans, asian greens, cos lettuce The only huge fail we had was a very quick curry and a dish which was supposed to have diced beef but was more like dog roll thrown in with a can of crushed tomatoes. Mostly we have been happy, we absolutely loved the tostadas and the butter chicken and the ready meals are a huge bonus for a full time working mum. Sometimes there are too many good choices in one week - is there any way of carrying over something you really like the look of into another week? Thanks, Justine”

“Delicious and varied meals packed full of fresh vegetables The directions are easy to follow and the spices and sauces are to die for. My 42 year old stepson has been eating the Fresh Start Meals for 6 weeks now and has lost over 7 kg. Considering he was 160 kg and had a lifetime of poor eating choices I feel we are on the way to encouraging healthy eating Would definitely recommend”

“We had several issues with our first few boxes from crushed boxes to missing items. Pleased to say the last 2 have been near perfect. Recipes are great with the odd exception. Some of the meat quality is pretty average at times”

“Dinner is so much easier for me since ordering My Food Bag. Hubby is a meat and potato man but I prefer nutritious, tasty meals so My Food Bag keeps me happy. There is plenty of food and it always arrives nice and fresh. Communication is always perfect.”

“We love my food bag! A busy family of four with Mum and Dad both working full time and two hungry teenagers means not a lot of time to think about and plan our evening meals. My food bag arriving once a week full of all we need for the busy working week of delicious wholesome meals for the family is a blessing. We know how long it will take to prepare, what the nutritional value is, and have all the ingredients and recipe at our fingertips. There is always enough and sometime a bit left over for lunch the next day. With Covid lockdowns we know we will continue to get our deliveries on time without the hassle of supermarket queues. Thanks food bag!”

“My Food Bag is awesome! Makes it super easy to prepare my meals, which is great as a Uni student. Though the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I've had a delivery issue (which was solved), and have had a couple ingredients missing sometimes - I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars if I could! Overall the meals are always super delicious, and recipe instructions are really clear!”

“I have enjoyed eating vegetables again. It's been a lifestyle change for me and the 1st time I have stuck it out and have enjoyed most of the meals. Haven't gone hungry so don't feel I on a diet just making better healthy choices. I have been doing this for 12 weeks now and have lost 10 kilos so starting to feel the loss. Looking forward to summer 😊”
