“The food choices are varied enough to have a balance throughout the week and good choices for vegetarians too. As we are weaning off red meats to chicken to plant-based food, there is always something tasty to choose from. The food is delivered at a great time as we are at home to pick it up quickly to store it all away. It always comes well-cooled and very organised in the box and well-labelled for each meal. The food is always fresh and looks great. The meals are easy to follow to cook and the seasoning just adds to the mmmmm! We are eating a well-balanced diet and enjoying the food every time.”

“Prior to bargain box, I was a stop at the shop after work to grab ingredients to cook type of person. Bargain box has changed the way my partner and I eat. Lots of different meals exploring many different flavours and styles. Nothing is too complicated and we are finding it very cost efficient.”

“Dont bother buying anything including eggs they almost always arrive thoroughly cracked. Ice bags often leak too making a combined right mess.”

“Great concept and is very convenient for us as a working couple, however, we’ve been a bit disappointed with some of the recipes. We love Asian food and their Asian sauces/ marinades lack the taste punch Asian dishes usually have. Another downside is that some of the ingredients have spoiled before the BB date so we’ve had to end up binning some ingredients and buying fresh. Hate food waste! One of the reasons we were attracted to My Food Bag was that we would have less food waste. All in all, we have enjoyed receiving the bags and eating some lovely tasty dishes but it’s a bit hit and miss.”

“Love the option to choose our meals and there is a great variety of dishes to choose from. Most are easy enough to alter to make vegetarian 🌱 The meals are very tasty and great for our busy lives having all the ingredients delivered to our door. The customer support team is incredible as well.”
