“Loving the meals and the variety of options. It has also bought my partner and I together in the kitchen which is a good thing. My only issue is the packaging. We're really struggling with so much single use plastic and the chiller packs”

“Enjoying the opportunity to try new flavours and cooking methods. Ingredients are fresh and have good portion sizes too - Fresh Start plan. The recipes are clearly written and easy to follow.”

“Love getting Myfoodbag for so many reasons - lots of options, easy to make with simple/clear instructions, fresh and top quality products (often with bigger quantities of non perishables). I thank MyFoodBag for improving my mental health - for taking away the effort in what to cook and for feeding me a variety of nutrients my regular meals probably lacked. Can’t recommend enough! Oh, and you have recipes that you can make anytime! My only “gripe” is that there is no dairy free option so often have to substitute for my own dairy free alternatives.”

“When I order my food bag I always order meat meals because of the quality and flavour of the lamb, beef and chicken is incredible! We've never been disappointed. The instructions are so easy to follow, with each little bag of seasoning or sauce added, the meal quickly evolves into something amazingly delicious. I have yet to work on my plating style. It never looks quite the same as the photo. (Haha) Fabulous choice of meals which are fabulously easy to prepare. Love it!”

“These meals have made my life so much easier. I don't go to the Supermarket and buy things I don't need anymore as it all comes to me. They are flavoursome and I love every bite. So easy to prepare which is good as I work 40 hours a week. I would highly recommend MyFood Bag to all.”

“We get my family 5 nights for 4. It is awesome. Feeds 2 adults and 3 kids (11,8,4) and sometimes there's still leftovers! Love the variety and absolutely love not having to think of healthy meal ideas for my family every night. My food bag has it sorted!”

“Feels like Christmas every Sunday at our house when 'My Food Bag' arrives & we open up the box to see what delicious meals we get to enjoy that week! The recipes are really easy to follow & the end result always looks like something out of a magazine not to mention delicious! The portion sizes are generous which means there's usually leftovers for lunch the next day too ... what a bonus! Thank you My Food Bag for putting the 'zing' back into our evening meals.”

“Great food, healthy and easy to make! Stuck in hotel for a few months and then even longer due to lock down, great having my food bag meals dropped off. Didn’t have to worry about meals and could add extra once we heard lockdown was coming. As a essential worker, traveling to work each day and really long hours it was great to have a nice healthy soup for lunch and quick healthy and yummy dinners when I got back to base.”

“We decided to try MFB as we were looking for more variety in our meals, and were eager to try different flavours. I was sick of cooking the same thing every week. From that perspective MFB does not disappoint. Most dishes have a great flavour profile and the spices always pack a punch. The tofu dishes are our favourite. I love the convenience of MFB and not having to think about what the meals for the week will be. I've noticed a huge shift in terms of carbohydrates, as we never used to eat them, but now we have them most nights. I also feel that MFB uses a little too much salt, so I have made a conscious effort to avoid where possible. It is not required where lots of spices are used in a dish. I love the bonus treats we sometimes get and the rewards I've received- it adds value to what is a relatively expensive way to eat. It would be great if the recipes came in a paper bag (like they do for gourmet weeks) instead of randomly thrown around the box. I often roast cauliflower and add a salad, as I do feel more greens are required for some meals. I also wish that thighs were used more than breasts for the chicken dishes. Based on the boxes we have tried, gourmet packs are definitely for a more confident cook. But overall, we are loving it- even the arguments on a Sunday night about what to choose for the following week:)”

“We love my food bag and being able to choice the meals. The meat and veges are great quality. My partner is a butcher and is very fussy! It encourages miss 11 to try different foods. The ready made lasagne and chicken pie were amazing!”

“Generally really tasty meals. We had a really negative experience where our box was not delivered and so we were stuck with a week of substitute meals that we didn’t choose, and wouldn’t have chosen. I then emailed requesting a partial refund to make good on this, but I have had absolutely no response from my food bag. We are consistently missing meal cards in our boxes.”

We have been experiencing a higher volume of calls and emails than usual but we are working to get through those.
