“Generally really good value for our family! Sensible portion sizes (we usually have enough protein and veges for 2 small meals 2 big meals and 1 lunch) and tasty recipes. I love that I dont have to think about whats for dinner.”

“Food is tasty. Deliveries are easy. Main issue is the food waste. I have 1 person meals and it’s a lot of use half of this and half of that. If there’s 2 recipes requiring half a cucumber then why am I sent two cucumbers instead of sharing the cucumber between meals! It’s ridiculous”

“I was spending up to $450 a week on groceries which was just ridiculous. I thought a meal box would end up making that way more expensive. But since starting Bargain Box my groceries per week have dropped to $170. There’s so much choice and I like that there’s enough for the two of us and my lunch the next day. My salad consumption is way up as well”

“While the recipes and food quality are pretty good the packing/packaging is poor. We have had 3 instances of meat packs being split open and juices are running out (see photo) ruining the recipe cards, or, softer items are on the bottom with heavier items on top crushing them. This has happened several times.”

“I've been disappointed with Food Bag lately. Recipes seem much simpler and using less ingredients than they used to and there seems to be a lot less fresh herbs used. The value for money feels like it's seriously dropped. I'm also not a fan of a lot of the sauces from the "Loft" brand you're now using. I will likely cancel our subscription in the next few weeks and try a different food subscription.”
