“I was excited when I found out that they had plans where you could swop proteins. But it is only certain proteins. I have one family member who doesn’t eat chicken and every plan bar vegetarian has one sometimes two chicken meals a week. So I lays have to find an alternative protein for that person. When I go away we cancel mY Food Bag as I am the only one if the family with the cooking skills and motivation to adjust the cooking. I also find their customer service poor. They take days to respond to e mails. food quality is generally fine but I purchase better quality proteins from my local suppliers, I like it as a sometimes option but it won’t ever be a stable for us.”

“I’m not much of a cook so I’m enjoying getting my food bag as the meals are easy and quick to prepare and some ingredients that we wouldn’t normally use, when different seasonings etc are added, change the flavour and I’ve actually enjoyed cooking.”

“Have got back into My Food bag after a break. Heat two cook two. Very easy on the busy nights to heat up a meal that has all the flavours of the cook two, just not as much prep. Kids love helping with the cook two also. So all is going well so far. Cheers.”

“We love the food bag and enjoying the variety of meals we are eating. We originally wanted fortnightly delivery but have changed to weekly for the convenience of not having to think of evening meals . The ingredients are Fresh and spices packed well . Everything arrives well packed and chilled . Only thing I wish is that it could be delivered to our door 1 km from town boundary ,instead of going to pick up from our daughters house every Sunday. That is our only downfall and will be the thing that decides how long we continue. Overall well done My food bag”

“We LOVE My Food Bag!! No more end-of-work days thinking "Oops, what will we have for dinner?". With My Food Bag, we have already lined the ingredients up on the bench for an easy step-by-step towards a delicious dinner planned by a chef. “Excellent! My food bag-Fresh Start is amazing. Teaching me to cook with a variety of quality ingredients, some for the very first time and in ways I've never even considered. Learning so much about cooking quantity, timing and portion size. On top of all that the meals are fresh, delicious, full of flavour and very quick to prepare. We are loving it♡”

“Love that the food arrives to the door, recipes mostly good but of course it's hard to accommodate everyone palate. Sometimes the packets of seeds, spices etc are wet, they need to be placed in a corner next to other dry foods.”

“What I love is the introduction to new and simple but tasty recipes. It takes the worry out of what to have for dinner and has created better eating habits. 95% of recipes we love, just a few that weren’t for us but that’s just a personal taste thing. Love my food bag.”

“It took a long time to convince my non cooking husband that we should give My Foodbag a try, a really lloonnnngggg time. His cooking ability was limited to bacon fried rice, with a lot of bacon - more bacon than rice! I convinced him we would give it a go, just for one week. The first box arrived, he was not impressed - not enough meat for him and OMG, there was this strange thing called salmon! Not in a million years was he going to eat salmon. "That isn't even enough meat for me by myself let alone two of us".... not a good start. I convinced/threatened him and he sat down to the first meal and he was hooked. I was stunned by his reaction and not only was he eating the meal, it was weeks before I cooked again because he was loving it so much. He never dreamed that he would enjoy cooking and guess what?! He now eats salmon! After 18 years together, he eats fish! Thank you!”
