“Good quality ingredients and easy to follow recipes, just the price that is always a bit tricky (the bags, other than Bargain Box, are pretty expensive. Bargain box seems good value for money)”

“Overall, we have been quite satisfied with our meals, though it seems more and more of the ingredients are listed as staples, sometimes there isn’t much more than the main ingredient and some flavour provided in the box and the other half of the list we are having to top up from our pantry.”

“Really enjoying the meals and not having to make meal plans each week. Love all the veggies you cram in and pricing is great. Sometimes weekly options aren't as extenisve as we would like and would be good to know heat level on things as we have young kids and would probably reduce or remove some of the seasoning for them.”

“Excellent food quality and value for money. I couldn't buy the same products from my supermarket any cheaper than the cost of the Bargain Box. I would like to see a few more healthy or vegetarian meals and more reminders that if I want to make any changes to the menu I need to make those changes before the Sunday evening of the week before - I keep missing the deadline. Overall we have been really happy with our Bargain Boxes and it's got any adult son cooking more than just BBQ meat! (-:”

“Love bargain, the amount of food that you get is very generous and it’s always lovely and fresh. It has a good variety of recipes and it’s been great for trying new things. Easy use app and have had no major issues.”

“Good selection of meals. Great quality ingredients. Wish there was an option to swap out ingredients or remove ingredients that you already have. I have so many full bags of peas and corn because a recipe will only use one cup. But each time a recipe uses 1 cup I get sent a whole bag. Just seems like it could be less wasteful if there was an option to remove an item or if items like that could be package into smaller bags.”

“Really enjoying the convenience of Bargain Box. Not having to choose dinner each night or pop to the supermarket so often. I feel like a better parent as our whanau are having a better variety of healthy meals with a better selection of fresh vegetables.”

“Love the option to choose our meals and there is a great variety of dishes to choose from. Most are easy enough to alter to make vegetarian 🌱 The meals are very tasty and great for our busy lives having all the ingredients delivered to our door. The customer support team is incredible as well.”

“Really great option for the flat! We are able to easily cook a big meal for the whole household without worrying about the admin. Meals are mostly very good, but sometimes can be a bit bland - although that's probably because it is the bargain box! We'd love for My Choice to be possible for 6 people as we would prefer to do that, but currently, there isn't an option for that. Additionally, we find sometimes bargain box isn't actually enough food for 6 people so we need to buy extra ingredients. Recipes are easy to follow (much better than Hello Fresh) and variation and types of meals are great.”
