“Good value for money. Sometimes can get a bit samey but pretty good range for a meal kit. Produce sometimes is a little older than I'd buy. Would be great to have a couple more options with the sauces and spices but overall pretty happy. Great to have the extras occasionally, definitely keeps us around!”

“Generally very good. Saves all that wondering what to cook every night. Also stops me spending toouch at the supermarket on things I don't need.”

“Great service. Plenty of meal options to choose from. Produce is fresh and quality meats provided. Only had a few meals chosen that weren't very flavoursome. Saves time!”

“It's good overall, the variety is really good i do find sometimes that we are missing items which is hard to locate due to my inability to shop but the support team is really helpful in offering suggestions for other items, and giving a refund.”

“We have been getting the ready made meals (3 per person per week) and tend to have about 12 favourites which we alternate to avoid getting bored. Delivery and management of orders has been excellent. Find the website a bite difficult to navigate at times when we just want a quick look at what's coming on a certain date in the future. The meals are very tasty (we've tried several companies and so far My Food Bag have been the nicest) but "the man of the house" has been a little disappointed with the amount of meat in SOME of the choices - especially where potatoes or pastas (carbs) are used to bulk up the size of the meal. Very easy and quick to get to the table and we like having more than one "cooking" option.”

“My Food Bag has really made things so much easier for our family! We are eating a much bigger variety of foods and trying new things that we otherwise wouldn't. We love not having to meal plan, it's all done for us! The quality is great and the customer service team are ecvellent to deal with.”

“We love the variety of meals offered, it’s nice to affordably eat a range of different meats within a week. Other meal subscriptions have had variety but not a huge range of spices so things often ended up tasting the same. Would be 5 stars but sometimes the meat isn’t the best quality and removing all the fatty parts can really reduce the portion size. When the meat is pre cut it’s often done pretty badly/unevenly which leads to uneven cooking which is annoying but I guess it is bargain box so you might get better quality getting the more expensive boxes”

“I've enjoyed the experience of Bargain Box. As someone with no spatial ability, I've found the physical box and it's packaging, the way it fits together very clever! I like that most of the meals use familiar ingredients, but have introduced me to new sauces and spices. Also to vegetables I never think to buy, such as endamame beans and radishes. So far, I've had more successes than failures - generally the meal turns out and the family likes it. I am in a better rhythm now of checking ahead to see the weekly meals and decide if I will order them or skip that week. I have been pleased to have discovered some new recipes and to know there's no missing ingredients when I come to cook them.”

“We have been getting Bargin Box for a few weeks now, and it has made everything so much easier. My partner can get home from work and knows exactly what we are having and follow the simple recipes to create great meals. I love the different meals and variety, much better than it used to be!”

“Recipes are nice and easy to make and taste really good too. It's not exactly a bargain as it is cheaper to shop yourself but I'm enjoying not having to think and shop for meals each week. Still trialing this and will decide if it's worth it after a few months”

“Over all quite happy with bargain box. Would like to be able to choose which day the payment is made but understand with ordering and whatnot. Would like it if the recipes were not placed down the side of the cold box as they keep getting wet which is pretty annoying.”
