“The recipes are delicious and not too complex. Ingredients are fresh and good quality comparing it to other similar services in New Zealand. Area of improvement is packaging of frozen veggies packages- they get delivered half defrosted regardless of the ice cold packs included in the box.”

“I like that it makes things easy for cooking dinner. The only problem is that the slaw we often get smells very funny and doesnt taste nice like the fresh slaw you get from the supermarket”

“Love the very reliable fresh veges and meat. Delivery and packing is well managed also. Great way to budget for meals, we are in the "older" age group, and appreciate the concept, it has made life easier for us. We are enjoying the challenge of the recipes with delicious flavouring. Also appreciate the fact that we can skip a week, as sometimes we do not use as much as usual. Very healthy option.”

“We enjoy the meals but struggle with some of the steps as we think they aren't explanatory enough, would be easier with step by step with a photo of what it should look like through out. I find the app okay to use with changing meals but I can't figure out how to change our meal choices to low carb as we are finding the meals quite carb heavy and would prefer not to have so many carbs. The meals so far have been delicious though.”

“I have had Fresh Start delivered for about 10wks. I have lost weight but at the same time have really enjoyed the meals. They are very healthy but so different. By that I mean I have used spices & pastes I have never used or heard of before. I feel some of the menus are really adventurous ; it is good to get away from the meat & three Veg. I will certainly continue to use the recipes, they make my cooking more interesting.”

“Absolutely love my Bargain Box. Fresh ingredients and easy to cook. No thinking about meals ahead of time. When I got sick my husband was able to cook all the meals so it was a win all round. Love it.”
