“I have been getting the Fresh Start 5 now for 8 or 9 weeks and each week there has been new and exciting delicious meals for me to make. I have not only been amazed at the variety of meals (there has not been one the same) in the whole 9 weeks but more than that I have loved every single one of them. I keep the ingredients of the little packets of spices so that i can replicate them myself on my "days off" There is also a benefit that being a single person sometimes I just could not be bothered to cook for myself - well let me tell you that has changed - each night i look forward to collecting my ingredients for my meal from the fridge/ pantry and assembling a feast of flavour. What a fantastic experience this has been for me and what is more I HAVE LOST WEIGHT DOING IT!!!! Win Win as far as i can see. Game changer for me. Diane”

“I'm enjoying the meals, recipes are easy, quick and tasty. There are several I'm attempting to copy, the seasoning/sauces sometimes tricky to recreate! I'd have rated as VERY GOOD if the delivery system kept all the items cold/cool enough, e.g. the 'frozen' peas and corn are always thawed on arrival. Never know whether to refreeze, or just leave in the fridge. In our town, goods slowly trundle around town behind the Postie on her Electric Scooter in the sun!!”

“Needs to have a bigger range of variety of meals as every week the meals are quite similar. Would be good if you could select what menus you want each week as some we really enjoy then others are not to our liking.”

We love your meal-picking suggestion - thank you! We'd love to be able to offer Foodies greater variety in meals in future. At the moment, to reduce waste and avoid more packaging we share ingredients across recipes. “The boxes are fantastic, they make us sit down and eat as a family in the week and always give me inspiration. Lots of new recipes that we have now included in family favourites! I can always change things slightly to fix the fussy eaters in the house and when I have more people for dinner I just get more of the ingredients. The flexibility of it is great.”

“Generally good, like the convenience. However find the meals quite similar. Ie varying spice on meat, a carb of some type ie roast veges or grain then basic vege, lots of spinach. My last order the two carrots were old and the spinach also. Very poor, considering most of the fresh veges have been good.”

“My vegetarian daughter came home from university for the holidays so I decided to order My Vege Food Bag to take the stress out of meal ideas in my busy day. It’s had an awesome spin off for the whole family as we are getting to share the extra vegetarian portion between us as our sides to meat or fish. Even better that my daughter is doing the cooking for us all and learning how to cook for herself in her flat next year!”

“Food is great. We love how each meal is a different theme. Easy to follow recipes (even for hubby). We are definitely converts now to actually cooking balanced meals. Always left overs for lunches which is awesome and very cost effective. Long term customers here”
