“The meals were delicious and mostly very easy to cook. My only minor critique of the recipes is that often salad prep would take longer than indicated, so I always started by doing salad prep not after starting cooking as most of the recipes instructed. However, since we started with My Food Bag in October 2022 almost every order has been problematic including being sent a rotten vegetable once, damaged vegetables regularly, as well as items often missing. Canned items were placed in with produce which caused damage to them a lot of the time. We contacted My Food Bag with each issue and they always gave a partial refund, but the problems with didn't improve. Therefore, we've cancelled our order despite finding it convenient and liking the meals.”

We are looking at bringing in new technology very soon to improve our packing processes. This should help reduce issues with missing items and also with placement of items in our boxes. “Convenient. Recipes are good In our box this week we received pizza bases that are best before night of delivery. Freshness could be improved, for vegies also.”

“I have really enjoyed being able to select a variety of recipes, with and without meat. I like that there is no more wool packing in our box and the 3 meals for two always stretches to 3. Great taste, great value, thanks 😊”

“We love My Food Bag - such a variety of tasty recipes with bountiful ingredients. We feel we are eating a more balanced diet and as we both work the meals are always quick and easy to prepare. This year we tried the Christmas package and it was gorgeous - what a feast! There was sufficient food to offer our neighbour a dinner when she was struck down with Covid and could not attend her own family get together.”

“The ready made pies are so tasty. The pastry is so delicious. The mozzarella beef pie is so tasty and so filling and so was the chicken vegie pie. It's great not having to prepare a meal. The other meals I order are great and love the different spices and putting them together. There is lots of vegies and enjoy that as I can make another meal out of them. The packaging is great and the courier is great. Thank you for a great service.”

“Perfect arrangement for cooking and eating with my elderly father. The box gets delivered to his place. Everything needed is pretty much in it. It’s a win, win situation.”

“Great quality food, fresh ingredients, vegetables and fruit are fresh. The recipes are amazingly tasty and easy to prepare, I look forward to making my dinner every night. I had a missed delivery last time and I was quite disappointed with not receiving my order I was looking forward to the meals I chose. The company was quick to let me know that they are aware of it and I got a thoughtful email with my options.”
