“My Food Bag has been a lifesaver for me! I get decision fatigue when it comes to planning/shopping for/cooking my dinners for the week. MFB takes away all the stress, easy to cook and makes sure I’m eating balanced meals with minimal effort on my behalf. Just wish there were more variety in the vegetarian choices, I’m not vegetarian but don’t usually consume a lot of meat at home. Have had to order more meat meals than I’d like (they’re still delicious!) and wish there was more variety.”

“We have enjoyed Bargain Box for around 8weeks now and so far its been great, it takes the stress out of groceries and choosing what to have for dinner each night. The meals are quick and easy to follow with very generous portions. Bargain box can sometimes be slightly wasteful when side dish ingredients like a cucumber or a lettuce are provided as a whole per meal, perhaps dividing these large side dish ingredients over 2 meals to save on cost and waste.”

“The recipes are easy to use and are lovely and tasty, ingredients mainly super fresh, although sometimes the salad greens are looking like they need using immediately. My main concern is the plastic packaging involved. I have a lot of guilt about using this product when it creates additional packaging of very small items.”

“Really enjoying fresh start for our family. It helps take the stress out of shopping and meal planning, especially with the price of vegetables at the supermarket. Customer service is also really prompt and helpful when anything isn't quite up to standard too, which is great.”

“Plant Power!! Proving very successful, eating alot more variety and even the carnivore in the family is enjoying meat free options. Plenty of food too, have leftover meals and leftover ingredients for use in other meals we have. Big variety on menu and only a couple of meh meals. Well done My Food Bag, would highly recommend.”

“I like my food bag but the last few have had things missing this last one was Chkn recipe l had too look up on the net and they pack rice and dry with wet begs”

“We are enjoying My Food Bag after a long stint with Hello Fresh. Love that the ingredients are locally sourced. Only thing stopping my review from a 5 star is the short timeframe tin which the meat has to be eaten, We get our delivery on a Sunday and they meals have to be eaten by Wednesday.”

Hey Lyree, thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you're enjoying My Food Bag and appreciate the locally sourced ingredients. We can completely understand your concerns in regard to the expiry date. The reason the meat and fish have slightly shorter expiry dates is because they are vacuum sealed without any added preservatives, before being packed into your delivery each week. For meals destined for later in the week, i.e. Thursday or Friday, pop the meat in the freezer upon receiving your delivery, then get it out the morning prior to eating.
